Large ocean view family retreat

Bring the whole family to this vacation home with lots of room for fun. This beach neighbourhood home offers a tranquil setting with ocean access, very private fenced yard, large private rooms with TV’s, fireplace, office space with printer, chefs kitchen, large dining area and library. The private yard features outdoor shower and spa, gas fire pit , BBQ deck with large covered dining area, bocce ball lane, playhouse , view deck , patio, bicycles

Home has 5 bedrooms, 3 with ocean view. Sofa beds in library and sunroom sleep an additional 4 people. Master bedroom on the main floor includes ensuite with soaker tub, two person shower and double vanity. Two large upstairs bedrooms with shared full bathroom, and a seating area with ocean view deck. All bedrooms feature TVs. There is an open concept kitchen, dining and living area with a gas fireplace. Also on the main floor is a TV room and an office with a desk and printer. Large back deck with covered dining and a Blackstone grill off of the kitchen. Laundry facilities are on the main floor.
Ocean view seating patio at front of home. Fully fenced backyard has a private spa and outdoor shower area, as well as a patio with gas fire pit and seating. Also available is a beautiful oyster shell surface bocce ball lane, with lighted seating area and playhouse.
Guests have full access to the entire area described.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location down by the beach. Rooms were spacious and clean, nice big kitchen to cook group meals in, and riding bikes around the neighbourhood made us feel like neighbourhood kids again. 10/10 would recommend

The property was perfect for our group of 7. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked several dinners as well as breakfast there. Details including coffee pods, games and TV streaming services made the visit extra special. The bedrooms were all comfortable and roomy. We enjoyed using the hot tub, infrared sauna, foosball table, bikes and EV charger. There is lots to do in the area, including walking on the beach and biking in area. We also visited Nymph Falls and hiking at Mt. Washington. We even heard some sea lions near by. Not to mention the F-18 flyovers which were incredible to watch (and hear). We’ve done a number of family trips and all agreed this one was the best!

Wonderful and beautiful property. Fit the 3 couples and baby we were traveling with very comfortably. Owners are very nice & helpful. Even tho owners live next door, you have total privacy. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all the home's outdoor amenities... we were sad to leave. Thanks to the owners for a great stay!

Perfect Family Stay in Comox! Our family spent a wonderful week at this Comox property, and it exceeded all expectations. The home is well-equipped and thoughtfully planned for a stress-free family vacation. I know our daughter appreciated the thoughtful inclusions like the high chair and safety gate, which made traveling with little ones so much easier. The host went above and beyond with practical amenities, providing an abundance of extra towels and cozy blankets. It was great having hot tub and outdoor shower—a hit with the whole family after our daily island adventures! The bikes were a bonus! The entire layout of the house just makes sense for a group. Check-in was seamless, and the property was spotlessly clean. We cannot recommend this place enough and would love to return!

We stayed here under very difficult circumstances for my mother’s memorial, and this home was a perfect sanctuary for our family during such a trying time.The house was excellent for our large group of seven adults and a baby. We never felt cramped; the layout perfectly accommodated both shared family moments and quiet private reflection.Highlights of our stay:The Location: Being just a one-minute walk from the beach was amazing. It provided a beautiful, quiet escape for walks, watching the sunrise, and just hanging out. We even saw a pod of dolphins swimming by on our first evening!Amenities: We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, which was spacious and very well-maintained. The bikes provided by the host were also a huge hit and gave us a fun way to explore the area.The Host: The host was incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating. Their hospitality took a lot of stress off our shoulders when we really needed it most.If you are looking for a spacious, well-equipped home in a prime location with a host who truly cares, I cannot recommend this place enough. It was the perfect backdrop for us to honor and celebrate my mom’s life.

We stayed here for a girls’ book club getaway (4 of us) and honestly, it was perfect. The house is so comfortable, beautifully designed, and absolutely spotless, truly one of the cleanest and most well-kept places we’ve ever stayed. Every space feels thoughtful and elevated, but still really cozy and easy to relax in. The ocean views from every bedroom are just unreal, such a treat to wake up to.We ended up spending most of our time at the house because it was just that nice. Coffee on the front patio, reading in all the cozy little spots inside, cooking family style meals in the gourmet kitchen, curled up for movies in the livingroom, long chats around the fire pit, and evenings in the hot tub. There are so many different spaces to hang out, and each one is just as inviting as the next.The bikes were such a fun bonus!! We rode down to the beach and over to the pub, which ended up being one of our favourite parts of the weekend.Everything was so well set up, we didn’t feel like anything was missing. Zero notes for David and Lynne, they’ve created such a special place.We already can’t wait for our next stay here.

What a beautiful property. I could have stayed on the property for our entire stay. We loved the access to the mountain bikes, beaches nearby and just beautiful neighborhood. Thank you for a great trip.

What a beautiful property!! The hosts were gracious and so thoughtful with the design and amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub, bikes, and the bocce ball court. The deck was a great area for us to have families dinners. 10/10 would definitely recommend and come back again.
