Relax with friends or the whole family at the peaceful Parkside Cottage. This quiet, welcoming, and private 1,000-square-foot home features two bedrooms and one bathroom, along with central heating and air conditioning. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. Guests have access to the entire home and fully fenced yard. The cottage is steps away from a trailhead right into Seal Bay Nature Park, yet only 10 minutes from downtown Comox and downtown Courtenay. The property is a great hub from which to enjoy local restaurants, wineries, sandy beaches, parks, hiking, mountain biking trails, golf and Mount Washington Skiing Resort.

All in all a great time was had by my wife and I. The location, next to Seal Bay Park, was just steps away and made for many a fun dog walk.Our hosts were extremely responsive which added to the experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and bright, lots of windows. It had a lovely fenced garden for us to sit out and watch our dog. He loved it as much as we did.The hiking trail next to it was a bonus and so close.Great hosts, we hope we come again next summer. Thank you!

Stay here if you want a peaceful and relaxed experience. Stay here if you love nature just outside your doorstep and walking pathways through gorgeous Seal Bay Nature Park. Stay here if you want a supportive host AND privacy and space to enjoy your vacation. Andrea is fabulous to work with in booking and staying at her space. We never felt we were staying at someone's house...we loved our experience here. The cottage is so well equipped, she has thought of every last detail. The yard space is private, surrounded by trees with herb gardens and plenty of spaces on the porch and side yard to enjoy the outdoors. It was so easy to be in the space with out little dogs, we could sit outside with them with a coffee or cold drink and they could roam safely in the self-contained cottage yard. We loved everything about this place and would stay again and again.

We had an amazing time staying at the Peaceful Parkside Cottage…everything was well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom! The beds were very comfortable and it was so quiet for a good nights sleep! We really enjoyed the Seal Bay Nature Park trails and the breweries in the area! Highly recommend this property!

My husband and I were both thrilled with the beauty, comfort and tranquility of this cottage. The inside is spacious, tastefully decorated, and well stocked with quality linens and kitchen supplies. The beds are very comfortable with the choice of soft and firm pillows.The outdoor space is peaceful and relaxing after walking the numerous “backyard trails” in Seal Bay park. Grocery and restaurant options are plentiful in nearby Courtenay and Comox. We hope to come again!

Hi Sharlene, in a business where we depend on reviews from our guests, I'm surprised to get an 8/10 review from you. We strive to make our cottage the very best for our guests and if anything was lacking, we would have appreciated feedback during your stay so we could have remedy any situation. I appreciate the contribution to the all missing items, but I have since discovered the sheets are not usable due to the number of pet stains all over them. Our house rules clearly state no pets on linens or furniture, which you knew before booking. In future, if you do rent another short-term rental, I hope you will think about the hosts and the business they are trying to run. This system relies on guest reviews. We have an excellent rating overall and were disappointed to see your review of our cottage.

Hi, we are your hosts, Scott and Andrea Pelly. We are a family of 4 that moved from North Vancouver in August 2021 to this beautiful acreage in the Comox Valley. We love the space our new property provides us. We both like to work in the yard and Scott can pursue his woodworking passion. We enjoy all the things to do in the beautiful Comox Valley. We had been vacationing here for years skiing and Mountian biking on Mount Washington Alpine Resort and finally decided to call this home.
We welcome you to our cottage!
