Keuka Lake House - East Side - Sunsets and Gorgeous Views

Very special Keuka Lake cottage on a quiet street in a highly desirable high-end neighborhood with miles of lakeside walking in either direction. Lots of room for outdoor entertaining and gathering at the water, on the deck or up at the house. Either way, you have unsurpassed views of the lake. Spend all day floating on a raft, sitting on the dock, fishing, and swimming. Parking in driveway for 2 cars and 2-3 more at street.

The lakefront has beach to wade in or you can jump off the end of the dock right in! Plenty of seating for lounging and eating and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

The cottage, which is situated up by the street, has amazing views of the lake and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. House has a galley style kitchen filled with sun, with all the amenities including a dishwasher, coffee bar and everything you will need to cook or bake for a special family meal. Or grill outside on the Weber while enjoying the views. On the front of the cottage is a screened-in porch great for meals, relaxing and watching the boats go by. Cottage sleeps 5 in comfortable mattresses. There is a Washer/ Dryer in the bathroom. We provide clean sheets and towels and as you will see from our reviews, everything is clean and fresh.

So much to do in the area, our house is close to so much. Walk or ride a bike to the Olney Place for coffee and breakfast. Wineries and public golf course right up the street. Penn Yan restaurants and groceries 10 minutes by car. Canandaigua 30 min by car with restaurants, shopping, Roseland Water Park and CMAC. Have your kids bring bikes, skateboards, and roller blades!

We really do have it all here for an amazing lake vacation for people of all ages. We are available by phone at any time should you need anything as we want your vacation to be perfect!

Weekend on Lake Keuka

My wife and I had a great weekend stay recently. Everything was as described. Views were amazing and there's a lot to do within a short distance.We had some rain so the screen porch was nice. It would be great in better weahter with the deck and water access.Communication with the host was quick and check-in was smooth.

Weekend getaway!

Such a cute cottage! Loved the lake views! Despite the rain we still had a great time! Well stocked kitchen w/everything we needed. Next time I’m hoping we can use the firepit (rain) or fireplace!! Lisa was great & timely with all responses.

Weekend on Keuka

We had a great stay, the dock and lake are beautiful and the house has cute and comfortable furniture and decor. We really enjoyed the screen porch too. Everything worked well and the house was clean. In terms of accessibility I wanted to mention that the house has a small but steep driveway and then there is a big staircase down to the water. (there's plenty of parking on the street). The bunkhouse is down by the water so it's pretty far from bathroom and seemed like it might be fun for kids but we were happy as adults that we all fit into the main house. We loved being on Keuka and the location was great for going to wineries and exploring the area. Thank you!

Lake Life

Beautiful home. Great indoor and outdoor space. Room for cornhole games, sunning, and just relaxing. We loved the front porch and the midway sitting deck.

Porch Perfect Views

We enjoy our stay on Keuka Lake each year we come and stay at a different place each time. This year we loved the spectacular views from the front porch, had all our meals there, enjoyed reading at night and listing to the lake life fall asleep. Plenty of space for 2 people and a perfect location for walking each day in one of the best neighborhoods!

Beautiful Waterfront

The waterfront is the highlight of this property. It’s well maintained, large by comparison to the homes on either side, with ample seating options. The house itself is quite old, as is the furniture. The screened in porch is the most comfortable place the sit and relax while not down by the water. The kitchen has all of the cooking essentials you will need for your stay. Lisa is a very kind host, quick to reply and offers solutions for any problem you may encounter.

Great location

We booked last minute for our yearly stay on Keuka - we are new to the east side of the lake and the neighborhood did not disappoint! The house was…ok. The listing said “new renovated” so we were expecting something a little different. It’s more rustic then expected based on the listing - we were able to make to work but it did take some adjustment. The screened in porch was our favorite spot - perfect for keeping the bugs away. The water front area was great as well - lots of seating options. Definitely lacking on towels - as another reviews said: bring wash clothes! There is only 1 a/c unit in the entire place - it luckily wasn’t too hot while we were there. But in the depths of the summer, the unit may need some help to cool off the house. The kitchen was stocked as to be expected. Good amenities for cooking. A little lacking on dishes - mostly plates. The fridge is a great size to stock for the week. The grill was not in great shape when we first got there - the grease pan was overflowing. We gave it a good deep clean as we planned to use daily for meals. We did vacuum daily just to keep up with the lawn debris that came into the house throughout the week. There were more spider webs throughout the house than I expected to find when we first arrived - we cleaned those up upon arrival and didn’t have any issues afterwards. Overall a great stay - neighborhood is amazing, very walkable. & everyone is so friendly! Thank you!

Great place, great hosts

Bob and Lisa were very accommodating. The house is unique as it has a nice waterfront lawn, a dock, a deck with a great view and a screened in porch that we spent alot of time on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Return Visit

This was our second stay at this property as we love the location, responsive owners, and the layout. Probably has an awesome waterfront area for relaxing next to the lake and building camp fires. Many wineries, breweries, and distilleries a short distance away. We are already planning another stay at this property.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Beautiful lake views for a relaxing long weekend. The house was clean and owner was very responsive. Great location for visiting wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Only about 30 minutes to Watkins Glen state park. We definitely recommend this property.

Fall Vacation

House was clean. Plenty of supplies if needed. Spectacular views from the front porch. Stairs and deck are new with great lake views. Lakefront area is very nice with picnic table , a dock with chairs. Also, a cool little bunk house. Had a great time and would stay again. Mark and Donna

Excellent getaway!

Stayed here on a beautiful late September weekend and the weather was excellent! Even when it was windy and cloudy, wait about 15 minutes and it could be totally calm. Stayed here with 6 women and the one bathroom was a challenge, however we managed to get through the weekend. We did have two people stay down in the bunkhouse and it was cozy. A bit cool at night but had our sleeping bags (Don't forget you have to walk up those stairs to use the bathroom). Kitchen was stocked with basics and is kind of tight (maybe because we had 6 women trying to organize!) We moved table into living room and had plenty or room with the extra chairs provided to eat. There was plenty of towels but I would suggest bringing wash clothes. The waterside area was perfect,. much nicer than the other properties near by with lots of room for all of us to sit and enjoy the sunsets and the fireplace. Very quiet street (maybe it was the time of the year), went walking everyday and since it's a side lake street, there was very minimal traffic. I did have to contact host by VRBO Messages and also by phone and they were very responsive and thankfully, issue was resolved quickly!. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this place again for our girls getaway!

Fantastic Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and uncluttered. Screened in porch is great. Most of all, the waterfront space is the best! There is a little wading area to the right for the little ones and it is plenty deep at the end of the dock for your best cannonballs into the lake! The shed with bunk beds and a fridge was fun to hang out in as well. Also, the owners were very responsive when we had an issue and a service person was at the house within an hour or two. Highly recommended!

Great getaway!

Visited with my mom & sister mid-September. Very clean & comfortable home as advertised. And what a view! Great screened in porch. Nice table & chairs one level down toward water. Then picnic table & more seating at waterfront. Worked well so we didn’t always have to be on top of one another. Owner was very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend.

Overall good stay

The property is not on the lake, but just across the street to a set of stairs down to the lake. There was more than enough seating available outside. The house was clean and well stocked with bath towels, pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The property is likely best suited to a family with young children due to available bedding. The weather for the week could have been better, but regardless we had a nice stay.

Amazing Lake Property

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for our families summer vacation and we enjoyed it tremendously! Lisa (the owner) was the best host. She was very responsive to any of our needs and it made our stay very enjoyable. She was available to answer any question we had during the reservation process, prior to coming, and during our stay! The house and our experience exceeded all expectations! The home was clean, the view was stunning and the access to the lake for all water activities couldn’t get better. Lisa even sent me recommendations of things to do and places to visit while were there. We would love to come back in the future! Five plus stars! 😀

Fun Fall Getaway

We had a great time! The cottage was really nice & comfortable with incredible views of the lake... from the kitchen, front porch, living room, fire pit, lakeside table, or dock chairs, they're all amazing! The owners were very nice & responsive, & gave us recommendations for where to get extra supplies. The location is close to town & wineries. We had a wonderful time relaxing & enjoying the fall colors

Perfect location for fall foliage

This home was in the perfect location to do everything we wanted in the Finger Lakes. The lake access and view were beyond breathe taking. The home is super cozy and had everything we could possibly need. It was super clean and quiet. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Ladies vacation

My group was made up of 6 retired ladies, all former educators, aging from 60-85. We loved the views of the lake which could be enjoyed from the dock, yard, upper deck, front pirch, kitchen, and livingroom. Our cottage was in a quiet neighborhood with practically no traffic and very nice for taking walks. We were very close to many wineries and Watkins Glenn. It was nice to have a dock for my boat and fishing. We spent many days and nights enjoying the fire and the stars. We all would recommend this place.

Great long weekend on Keuka Lake

Great location right in the middle of Keuka Lake. House had everything we needed, was clean and comfy, and easy to check into and out of. All outdoor amenities were perfect for a fall weekend on the lake. Would definitely stay again when we come back to the Finger Lakes.

Wonderful!

Lisa was wonderful. Very responsive and accommodating! The house itself is on the older side, but everything was super super clean, which is #1. We easily fit our group of 6 in the main house so I have no review of the bunk room to share...but do note that the bunk room is down by the water, so you’d have to hike up the stairs and cross the little street to the main house if you have to pee in the middle of the night! We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch having our meals there and looking out at the water - the view is stunning! And it was nice to have a spot where we didn’t have to worry about bugs. The “yard” space for this property down by the water was awesome - it was one of, if not the biggest space on that part of the shoreline. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs to watch the sunset. Overall great location with vineyards right around the corner. Surprisingly close to the house at about 1.7 miles away was Rooster Hill - a lovely spot for wine tasting! We truly had an amazing time and would go back in a heartbeat!
