The home is also a 15-minute Drive to beautiful Cocoa Beach. After spending the day soaking in all that Brevard County has to offer, return to the house to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The fully equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, and the gas grill together offer plenty of cooking options for the chef in your group. You can sip your wine from the beautiful back porch overlooking the Canal after a long day on the water. When you are not relaxing in the comfortable, modern interior, visit the Kennedy Space Center, tour Walt Disney World and sunbathe along the Atlantic Ocean at Cocoa Beach!

The kids will love visiting the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne Village and experiencing the magic of Disney World - set only 57 miles away.

The house sits only 20 miles from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, where you can meet an astronaut, visit the interactive displays, or even watch a rocket blast off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Fishing, wildlife viewing, bird watching, and scenic drives await nearby at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Visit exploration tower and climb to the top for breathtaking views of the coastline.

Wonderful home!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was great had everything we needed! Kitchen is fully stocked with all kitchen equipment you will need also plenty of beach items! The kids loved the pool and watching the dolphins and manatees our back! Definitely recommend this home! Super close to everything which was great!!

Beautiful place - Excellent property

We loved our stay. The owners made every effort to make sure everything we could possibly need was provided. Dolphins coming to visit each morning if you take the time to go watch for them.

Was an awsome stay for me and my family, husband did some fishing in the canal, saw 2 dolphins..10 min from beach, 5 min from walmart. Overall good experience!

Space Camp

Perfect location for kids attending Space Camp: easy drive to Kennedy Space Center and beaches while still close to shopping/restaurants. The pool was the center of afternoon activities, despite the rain. The hosts have included many amenities to make it feel like home and were very responsive and helpful!

Amazing surprise 40th and family get together from 3 parts of the USA 💖

What an amazing place to stay! Everything was nice and clean. Got to catch fish in the morning while watching dolphins swim up and down the canal. Then jump in the swimming pool to refresh! 5 out of 5 stars

Nice house

The house was very nice. Had some trouble with the tvs, but that got resolved. Loved being on the canal and seeing dolphins everyday. My family enjoyed the pool and having a fire every night. Was awesome to see a rocket launch from the backyard. Also fun fishing. Great location, close to everything. Definitely would stay again!

Family time

We needed a place close to NASA with a pool. This home was exactly what we needed for my daughter’s visit with our two grandchildren. Up with the sun and at the gates of the Space Center for the National Anthem. Home by 4 and in the pool until dinner. Back in the pool until dusk then it was time for the fire pit and s’mores. Repeat the next day. Excellent location for commuting to the Port, beaches and shopping.

Enjoyable

Enjoyable stay , home was as pictured on website. It was quick drive to shore and other activities. My husband and kids thoroughly enjoyed riding the waves on the boogie boards provided, thank you Jared. No real complaints, but you may want to replace the chairs by pool. Most of them had broken legs so not enough seating around outdoor table. We definitely will recommend a stay at this beautiful home.

Great location and perfect for families!

The location was perfect for our needs, close to Coco Beach and Port Canaveral. We had issues with our check-in and lack of communication from property manager, taking hours the get a door code to work properly so we could get checked in and be able to go tp dinner. We didn't let that stop us from enjoying the most of our time there. The property was clean and as pictured. The blue couch in the family room near the pool was so comfortable, I wanted to take it home with me. They seem to have some plumbing issues between the two bathrooms but other than that, this is a beautiful property with a great location that is very quiet and close to everything.

Spring break family trip

Overall had an great time at this beautiful home! Location was amazing-10 min to a Walmart, 15 min to cocoa beach. Beds were comfortable and house was fairly well stocked and very clean. a few things were broken and needing repair….poolside furniture, tp wall dispenser, bikes were not rideable as the tires were flat and no way to put air in them. Also not able to inflate pool stuff/toys as pump did not have adaptor. Other than that we had a great first family vacation and would love to come back!

Nice weekend in Merritt Island

My family rented this house so we could stay close to our cousin's graduation party. It was a cute house. The positives were the backyard and being able to fish off the back, and the pool. We loved the older deeper Florida pool. We also enjoyed the two living rooms. The main downside was the vrbo page description paragraph for this property said the bunk beds were full beds which they weren't. They were regular twin bunk beds. And the other two bedrooms said they were queens (which they may have been) but felt more like a full bed. We also would have liked more seating around the dining room table. It really only had room for 4 when it could have easily fit 8. But we had a good time and I'd recommend it if you are staying in the area.

Nice remodel. Clean.

House overall was good. When looking, I narrowed it down to two houses, this property and one other. It was important to have enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably (we had 9 in our group), it was also important to have a pool. Both properties listed a pool. The pool at this property was extremely cold and not swimmable. We were disappointed by this to say the least. I did contact the owner and was advised the pool was heated by solar panels and to turn up the dial on the side of the house “all the way up.” Well, “all the way up” was 104 degrees. The next day the pool was just as cold. Bummer! Remodel was nice. They did have a paddle board we ended up using which was fun. Once the rest of the neighborhood starts to refurbish homes, it will be a nice area.

Family Vacation with Tween/Teen Cousins

I will say that our family (my mother, brother & his two boys (12 & 16), and me, my husband and our two kids (10 & 12) had an asbolutely wonderful time at the house. The family time spent there was priceless. We all loved the layout of the house and appreciated nothing was stinky, the bedding smelled freshly washed and it was clean. However, the interior could stand to use a deep clean and many places where they could touch up dinged walls. There were many dead mosquitoes smashed against the walls that were never cleaned, and some spider webs in the corners. It seems that the cleaners do the bedding and wiping off countertops, but nothing of a deep clean. There are also spaces and gaps in the screens outside in the pool area that let in mosquitoes. There were a few hiccups the first couple of days, but the property managers did handle it and were apologetic. Again - we had an absolutely fabulous stay there and would actually stay there again, just would like to see this great space get a little more love in regards to deep cleaning and touch ups.

Great location

A friend and I were in town for a wedding. The house is well appointed. I honestly can't think of anything you would need other than the obvious, groceries etc. The house was clean and has wonderful outdoor sitting areas including the pool area. Beach towels, cooler and beach chairs are available which is fantastic when you are traveling. Loved having a washer and dryer available. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. TVs in all rooms, including bedrooms if you plan to spend time indoors. Unfortunately,upon entering, there was an enormous scent from plug in air fresheners. Fortunately they faded within a few days. It was honestly too much and our clothes all smell like them. Nauseating. The pool is not heated so don't plan on using it in the cooler Florida temps. We also didn't appreciate the door chimes that might alert the owner every time we opened them. I don't need my movements tracked. The spare bathroom toilet paper holder is broken, Overall, the entire place could use a fresh coat of paint. We paid a $600 owner fee yet were asked to start laundry before we left. No laundry detergent/softeners were provided. So, spend our money to wash your laundry is a bit much to ask.. I understand that time is of the essence when flipping a rental. Don't charge the ginormous fee, provide essential laundry supplies and it wouldn't be a problem..

Merritt house

Over all very nice! Front door key pad was messed up! Ice maker wasn’t working! Ran out of garbage bags had to buy more! The house fit us perfectly! Kids loved the pool.

Top notch experience

We stayed here for two nights before boarding a cruise out of port Canavral. The house was clean and spacious (it is always hard to tell space on photos; our group of 1p had plenty of space to relax and enjoy). We had a minor issue at checkin and the host was very responsive, polite and apologetic. We will book this house again if we stay in the area.

The best vacation experience of our lives!!

Wow… Just WOW!!! What an AMAZING TIME!! This was our first time using Vrbo and because of our experience, we will forever be customers!! The house was absolutely beautiful and the waterway it was on was so amazing!! Jared was an amazing host to work with and took all the stress away from this vacation!! The house was immaculate and if there was anything we forgot to bring, it was there!!! The private screened in pool was perfect for our special needs son, with no worry of him leaving the yard. We were able to be present with our family with no distractions!!! If you’re looking at this property to take your vacation, do it!! You will be over joyed!!! We were!!

Family trip pool and fishing lots of fun!!

My family and I had a great time! the house it is just as described and has everything that you will need including air mattresses. Stocked kitchen. The owner has provided everything you may need to go for a beach day and/or a fishing off the dock . It’s a great house to spend time with family, my kids loved fishing from the dock and using the paddleboard. Remember this is Florida so you swim at your own risk we saw a small alligator and dolphins in the canal. Easy check in and out! Can’t wait to come back!
