Welcome to our beautifully renovated two-bedroom Cooloola Villa at Kingfisher Bay, nestled high in the treetops of World Heritage-listed K’gari (Fraser Island). This villa blends thoughtful, sustainable design with comfort and style. With high ceilings, natural airflow, ceiling fans, and reverse-cycle air conditioning, you'll enjoy year-round comfort.

The villa includes a Queen sized bed in the master bedroom a Double and Single in the second bedroom—both appointed with quality bedding, ceiling fans, screened windows, built-in storage, and a quiet work nook. The resort-style bathroom features a walk-in shower, while the fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size fridge, oven, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher. Enjoy meals in the dining room or outside on the private deck with its outdoor setting.

Unwind in the spacious living room with Smart TV & high speed internet. Telstra and Optus mobile coverage.

As a guest of Villa 708, you’ll enjoy full access to all the Resort facilities, including four lagoon-style swimming pools (one heated), an outdoor spa, walking trails, and ranger-guided activities (some complimentary). Enjoy a drink at the bar, dine at one of the resort’s restaurants, or walk the boardwalk to the western beach for an unforgettable sunset.

I’m originally from Brisbane and have been coming to K’gari (Fraser Island) for more than 25 years. What keeps bringing me back is the combination of beautiful beaches and a real sense of adventure. There’s always somewhere new to explore, whether it’s heading off in the 4WD, discovering a freshwater lake, walking through the rainforest or simply spending the day on the beach.

Winter is actually my favourite time on the island. The weather is usually beautiful, the days are perfect for exploring, and it’s whale-watching season. There’s something pretty special about standing on the beach and spotting whales making their way along the coast.

I love being a host because it gives me the chance to share a place that has been such a big part of my life with other people. I hope guests can experience the same things I love about K’gari — the adventure, the wildlife, the incredible scenery, but also that feeling of slowing down and escaping for a few days. Whether you spend your whole stay exploring or barely leave the villa, I hope Villa 708 feels like your own little island getaway.
