Dear Jake, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay, as these are not typical of the properties we manage. Before your stay, the homeowner’s contractor completed several updates in the kitchen and bathrooms, leaving the home in better condition than during previous rentals. Additional improvements are scheduled for the upcoming off-season. Regarding the air conditioning, the local HVAC company has inspected the unit and confirmed it is working properly. They explained that during extreme heat conditions (heat indexes over 95-100 degrees with 100% humidity), HVAC units can typically only offer a 20-25 degree difference between the outdoor and indoor temperatures. We understand this can be uncomfortable and appreciate your understanding. As for household supplies, we provide a starter kit with 2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and soaps, and send a full list of what to bring with the check-in reminder 14 days prior to arrival to help avoid any frustration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We manage over 120 properties on Edisto Island and would love to invite you back for a more enjoyable stay during any season.
