First time on Big Island

Very well equipped, beautiful view from the lanai. Walking distance to town and restaurants.Unnecessary duplicates and triplicates clutter the kitchen cabinets.Appreciated the good knife setComfortable bed and nice linens.

Great spot to stay with ocean views

We loved staying in this condo, owners were super helpful and responsive, you have everything you need (beach gear included), and it is close to everything. Plus you can listen the the ocean and watch the sunset right from the unit! The place is a little older, but the pictures are very accurate, and it was well taken care of. We'd stay again

Loved our stay.

We loved our stay at this condo. We loved the updates, style, cleanliness, pool, and location with the beach and town close by. We have been to Kona many times and this was one of our favorite places to stay. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere!

Comfortable and Perfect Location

This Kona Reef condo unit C31 was a great stay. Very centrally located to everything. The host was very communacative and check in/out very easy. Central ac was a big plus and the unit was well supplied. We loved it and were very comfortable there. Beautiful lanai space with great ocean view. We highly recommend

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our time in Kona! The condo is as described and had everything you could need. The best part was the location. We walked to town everyday and enjoyed restaurants, shopping and sunsets.

Kailua-Kona condo

Great property for our stay! Pool was lovely- refreshing in the heat. The condo had a fully stocked kitchen, complete with storage containers, so that we could cook (grill) at home when we wanted to. Quiet, except for the waves and local birds♡. Thank you!

Loved Kona Reef

Had a wonderful time at Kona Reef. The condo was lovely, well-appointment with gorgeous ocean views. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the lanai. The complex is very nice and clean with a nice area for BBQing. The location could not be more perfect— beachfront with a beautiful grassy area to enjoy the beautiful sunsets, and best of all within walking distance to shops and restaurants at Kailua-Kona village. Great communication with our host, Conrad. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Views and Location

This was the second year in a row that we've stayed in this condo. We love the location near shopping, restaurants and of course the view. Great spot to also venture out to any part of the island. Volcano National Park is a must see with lava flowing in the crater once again.

Highly recommend

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The ocean views and sunsets from the balcony were stunning. The attention to detail in this condo with so many nice touches really enhanced our stay. Excellent hosts with great communication! We look forward to returning in the future.

June 11-21 2024. Great location in Kona

My husband and I came to the big island for the first time to visit our daughter who is currently living there. The location was perfect; close enough to downtown that we were able to walk there multiple times a day if we wanted. The unit was clean and had plenty of amenities, not to mention the view of the ocean from the lanai where we spent most of our time. Conrad was very helpful and answered our questions right away. We will definitely stay there when we come again for a visit!

Love Kona Reef and this unit

Get the best of both world with a spectacular ocean view as well as people watch over the pool (I also like to scope out the pool before going down so this was perfect). It’s the little things that matter and it’s obvious that the owners of this condo also use it for their pleasure as well. I had everything I needed for my stay and it was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay here again is available.

Enjoyed our stay

Condo had everything we needed. Great views from the lanai, very comfortable lanai furniture, beautiful sunsets each night. Loved being able to walk to so many restaurants. The air conditioning worked well but most of the time we were comfortable using just the ceiling fans, using just the bedroom fan at night and sleeping comfortably. Bed and pillows comfy as well. We would definitely recommend this condo to others.

Great spot close to restaurants & shops

Fantastic lanai ocean view- this condo is well kitted out the ac on both lounge & bedroom are a must in July . Beautiful sunsets and conch blowing every night . Easy to walk to town . Appreciated the extra pantry items , but it needed an electric kettle . Check in was super easy .wish we had stay longer

Great Place!

Well-appointed condo was exactly as advertised, with view of pool, ocean, and surfers from the lanai. Wi-Fi worked, check-in and check-out were easy. Property very well maintained, lots of workers daily. Very convenient, easy walk to downtown for meals, though kitchen was well-equipped. Pre-visit information provided by owner was extensive and helpful. He was very responsive to questions and concerns. Altogether, a great place to stay and take advantage of the remarkable diversity of the Big Island!

Great property in kona

We enjoyed our stay at this ocean front condo. It was clean, beautiful and convenient. There is some small issue after checkout. But the PM managed to solve it. Would recommend this condo.

Hawaiian Dreams do COME TRUE!

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Conrad and Denise provided written instructions for us, which were very useful. Their suggestions covered every question we had,from who to contact with questions about the condo and property, to recommending excursions, and shopping. Their condo looks exactly the as posted on VRBO, and was clean and comfortable. We did not want to leave! Our next trip to Kailua-Kona, to visit family we hope this condo is available.

Ideal Kona stay

This is an excellent choice for a Kona stay. The listing has everything you need. Easy parking, location on the ocean side of the road, view of the sea, nice pool, hot tub, and barbecue, comfortable bed, kitchen that can actually be used and easy communication with the host. One great thing is how easy it is to walk into the town. There is literally no good parking in Kailua-Kona unless you are willing to pay a ton. So being able to walk in was wonderful. I would highly recommend this condo if you are looking in this price range.

オーナー : Conrad and Denise Hayden

My wife Denise and I are from Colorado. Owning in Kailua-Kona has been a dream of ours for over 16 years, but I first came to Hawaii as a child when it was still a territory. I grew up mostly in the Philippine Islands as my dad was Army/Air Force and my mom is Filipina. Denise is originally from the Garden State of New Jersey. We met in college, married and went on to be life-long educators. I have been bringing family here since 2004 and we still find tremendous magic in this tropical paradise called Hawai'i. We hope you will consider our condo as part of your vacation journey to the Aloha land of Big Island Hawaii.

This Kona Reef property appealed to my wife and me for many reasons, but most of all: Location, Location, Location! Other condos advertise a small window of a distant ocean view and then tell you that ocean is a 5 minute drive away and the nearest sandy beach is 3.6 miles away. Then they charge about the same per night as we do! Take a peek at the unique benefits of our Kona Reef condo.
