The property was as described; The photos are accurate. The hottub was a pleasure. TV's in almost every room and the one in the living room is huge. Quite a generous collection of DVD's and although they reflected rather mainstream titles (which is probably fine for the typical movie fan) I even found a few that I liked-- plenty for a relaxing week. Even some decent music CD's. The area is quiet-- far from civilization, even though there are plenty of neighbors. Don't go if you don't like driving through 12 miles of windy roads to get to civilization. The supermarket in Somerset is close enough if you run out of groceries. Roads are still under construction there as of September 2012, so you might have to do some extra driving, but we learned the route quickly. We went to the Flight 93 Memorial just 20 miles away which was a solemn experience. Also went to Pitssburgh Zoo and Aquarium, which was pretty much an all-day trip, but it's not that close-- took us about 80 minutes I think. Loved the zoo. This vacation was perfect for what I like to do, which is to read, relax, watch movies and enjoy my family. I also hiked 2-3x and found some good trails. Negatives were that the pinball machine wouldn't work for us, as somebody else had warned in a previous review, although I spent hours reading the manual and pushing the correct buttons-- no balls ever loaded. There's no dining room table so all meals are eaten at the bar, but it's a cute bar, and large. The caretaker stopped by to bring paper towels, which we laready had plenty of, but she was not able to advise us on fixing the pinball machine, either. The main overhead lights in both downstairs bedrooms were out. A screen was broken and kept falling out of the window on the side of the house. And not exactly a negative, but audial specters arrived each evening-- some kind of generator- or heater- or water-related anomaly that sounded EXACTLY like people were walking back and forth across the roof every evening. I feel like I got only a six-day stay for seven days' payment, which is my biggest complaint other than the pinball machine. The upstairs bedrooms are very small, with low ceilings (it's basically the loft) but the three main bedrooms were great. I would recommend this for summer use, which was the only season I visited. No AC, but you it wasn't needed-- the ceiling fans were adequate. If you like R & R and don't need to be near the bar scene, this might be your ticket..
