Unique Octagonal-Style Beach Home with Pool Kid + Dog Friendly!

Our Beach home is a very unique octagonal-style home with a lot of natural stone features. The home is a 5,500 sq ft spacious place to gather for large families, family reunions or group gatherings. It features a very large, open kitchen/dining/living room area, 5 bedrooms (sleeping 20 people!), 3 bathrooms, game room, pool table, deck and pool area!

The first floor has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchenette/dining area, laundry area with full size washer and dryer, a game room with pool table and 2 smart TVs. The largest lower level bedroom features 3 twin over full bunk beds - enough sleeping space for 9! The top bunk beds are for children. The additional first floor bedroom features a queen bed - room for 2! The game room also has a sleeper sofa (room for 2) and 2 additional couches.

The second floor features a large open-concept Kitchen/Dining Room/Living Room area. with large, open windows for a scenic view. The main dining room table has seating for 8 and the kitchen island has seating for an additional 4 people. The living room area includes 3 couches and 2 chairs - so much space for socializing and entertaining! The second floor also includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom includes a king size bed (room for 2) and full-sized bathroom. In addition the master bedroom has a separate on-suite style bedroom with 2 twin beds (room for 2). The on-suite also includes an exterior door for direct access to the pool and deck area. The master bedroom also includes a conservatory (sunroom) that over looks the pool and deck area, has plenty of seating and a sleeper sofa (room for 2). The third bedroom features 2 queen-sized bed (room for 4) and a large walk-in closet.

The pool and deck area feature a large in ground pool with a maximum depth of 5 feet. The pool entrance includes a seating area inside the pool for cool relaxation during those hot summer months! The deck includes a long bench/seating area. The pool is not heated.
NOTE: We do have a security camera that overlooks the pool/deck area.

The poolside gazebo has also been updated to include a brand new bar and sitting area- great for getting out of the summer sun.

The Atlantic ocean is 300 yards walking distance from the home!

Great Family Getaway

This is a great place to stay if you have a large family. Would highly recommend it. Although it is a little bit of walk to the beach, the location is wonderful. And the house has a nice layout for a large group of people.

This home is perfect for your large family stays!! Had our whole extended group come, and there was plenty of space for everyone to swim, play, sleep, cook, eat, and hangout. The beach is steps away, and there are a dozen more entry points just minutes down the road. Highly recommend the crab steamers at Snappers, Lookout Cruises out of Beaufort, & Idle Hour Biergarten and Shark Shack, both in Atlantic Beach!

Location was great, walked back and forth to beach or rode bikes there several times a day. Pool was used multiple times a day as well. House was spacious enough for 10 adults and 10 kids. We had 2 pick up trucks and 3 larger suvs, driveway was a little tight but we managed to fit them all. Fortunately for us the hurricane stayed further up the coast and did not have a huge impact here, Found tons of large conch shells and starfish in the ocean afterwards. Jason was informative and easy to work with, would stay again!

Great place to stay

We absolutely loved this home. It was clean, spacious, beautiful. Comfy beds, near the beach, lovely pool area. Our big family fit perfectly in this home. We will love to book again for next year. Loved that it was pet friendly because we got to peing our two dogs.

Livin' the Best Life

Our party had an awesome stay! Initially, the downstairs 'bunk' room was slightly smaller than assumed; however, everyone found their 'space.' The home is conveniently located to everything we wanted to do, and the pool quickly became an integral part of our getaway! The teenagers of the group enjoyed gaming with the pool and ping-pong tables, while the adults could relax upstairs. The beach was a quick walk, and the neighborhood was friendly and quieter than I imagined. Overall, everyone enjoyed the home, and most of us were livin' our best lives in that pool!

Great space

We had a great time at our wedding weekend staying at this VRBO! There was so much space and the layout was perfect for a large group. Only thing I would say is watch out for bugs, but it is in the woods so it makes sense.

Moms 80th Birthday

We loved this house! There were 14 adults, it was spacious, everyone loved the pool, easy walk to the beach (my 84 year old Aunt, made the walk easily), it was also close to grocery and souvenir shops. I highly recommend this house for your family gatherings!

Mimi & Baba’s Beach Week

Had another wonderful week at the Octagonal home in Emerald Isle. New downstairs lighting was great! It’s only a short walk to the beach for the grandkids, aged 1-6, and wagons worked great. The outside shower to de-sand everyone is wonderful. Kids loved the pool as well.

A great week at EI

My family of 11 really enjoyed this house. The pool is such a nice feature. The house is a bit dated but has incredible space! Bedrooms are huge and it has so much seating. Only 1 flight of steps which is also nice. We appreciated the 2 refrigerators and library of great books as well. Located on a quiet street and easy walk to the beach. You won’t be short on space or beds in this house!! We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful beach

The home is very spacious and was clean when we arrived. I might suggest, however, that you hire a new pest control company. Also, the kitchen, in a house so large, could use some additional cups and a larger toaster, to mention a couple of things.

Nice framily getaway!

Other than the sandy floors upon arrival, the house was nice. The neighbors have an outdoor cat enclosure, and luckily for us, the cats were never out when we took our dogs out, but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time. Others with dogs who are not cat friendly should know this. Overall, our stay was nice and enjoyable! The house was plenty big for our group!

Senior boys trip

We took another couple and 9 graduating seniors on a trip for surfing and skim boarding. I was looking for a space with enough entertainment for rainy days too. This property was perfect the kids were downstairs and adults upstairs. The beach was a short walk and the pool was great to cool off when we got back. We did move some furniture around to accommodate our group and shifted the bedroom television to the living room to watch the Olympic trials. We contacted the property manager for a tiny issue and were responded to almost immediately. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach was not crowded. We had surf lessons, rented jet skis and brought our skim boards with us.

Our Grandparents Showed Us Beach Life

We six grandkids, aged 5,4,3,2,2,and 6 months, had a blast in the big many-sided house! So much room to run around and play when we weren't at the beach. Our grandparents loved the new updated king bed, dressers, and night stands in their room. Grandma said the outside shower with hot and cold water for rinsing off the sand was fantastic! We wished the weather was warmer so we could have used the pool more because we had a ball in it last year. Our parents were fine with the1 block walk pulling wagons to the beach with the board walk to the beach aligned directly to the road (Bluewater) we walked down. We hope they bring us back next year!
