7 Bed 7 Bath - Sleeps 24

Coastal Cabana is a unique 7 bed(+bonus room/bunk nook), 7 bath gulf front home with amazing views and amenities.

In the main house, the second floor accommodates expansive living quarters. The bright great room features a full wall of glass windows and doors, which open onto a large sundeck and overlook the beach. Outdoor tables and chairs are available for enjoying a tropical drink while watching the tide roll in. A comfortable living area includes a blue sofa and complementary white armchairs. From here you can watch TV, or take in the stunning views of the pristine Gulf. Beside another set of glass windows, a causal dining area features a hardwood table and seating for ten. It provides the ideal setting for a vacation dinner, where guests can eat a meal and take advantage of the beautiful beach sunset. The state-of-the-art kitchen has gleaming marble countertops, spacious cabinets, stainless-steel appliances, and an island with four raised chairs.

On this level, guests will find two bedrooms: the master suite with a king-size bed and private bath, and a guestroom with a queen-size bed and access to a full hall bath. Three remaining bedrooms are located downstairs. Two of the rooms have king-size beds, while the other is a bunkroom with two queen bunks and four wall-mounted TVs for streaming and gaming only. A cozy den has a queen-size sleeper sofa, as well as a TV for entertainment.

The poolside guest house offers separate living and sleeping quarters. It features a cozy living room, dining area, and kitchen. The living room is equipped with cottage-style furnishings and has a queen-size sleeper sofa. One bedroom is located on the first floor, hosting a king-size bed and access to a hall bath. The master suite is upstairs and includes a king-size bed and private bath. A bunk nook with twin bunks is also provided.

A private, lagoon-shaped pool is situated between the main house and guest house. It boasts a large sundeck with lounge chairs. The property’s close proximity to the beach ensures guests can go from basking in the sun by the pool to taking a saltwater plunge in the Gulf within minutes! Another benefit of this rental home is the variety of nearby vacation spots, including Silver Sands Premium Outlets, Seascape Resorts, Grand Boulevard, and more.

Main House:

First Floor: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa, King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower, King Bedroom with Tub/Shower Combo, Bedroom with Two Queen Bunks and Shared Walk-In Shower.

Second Floor: Living Room with Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower, Queen Bedroom with Shared Walk-In Shower, Laundry.

Guest House:

First Floor: Living Room, Kitchen, King Bedroom, Full Hall Bath, Laundry.

Second Floor: King Bedroom with Full Bath, Loft with Twin Bunk.

We stayed a week early October and the weather was amazing and the beach house was perfect!! There are several homes around but you don’t feel crowded. The private beach access and reserved waterfront area made for a stress free beach experience. The house is beautiful and was very clean. Beds are comfy and the big kitchen space is so useful. The host stayed in great contact, although everything was good and we never needed any assistance. We would definitely stay here again!

Coastal Cabana was everything & more! My family & I booked a last-minute trip to Miramar & we couldn’t be more happy with our stay. Bob was most helpful with the booking process, he responded quickly to any questions we had before/during our stay, & was overall a great host. The house was clean, the location can’t be beat, & the pool was perfect! We visit the Santa Rosa area often & this was one of our favorite stays. We will certainly return to Bob’s Coastal Cabana in the future for more memories.

Overall not worth the price. Used condom found under our bed, dirty socks under bed in another room. Internet didn’t work upon arrival. Fridge didn’t work upon arrival. Response timing to fix problems was not appropriate for amount spent on house. Good things- plenty of room for out size. Good and bad location- right next to public access so early in morning all beach spots directly in front of house were occupied. Difficultly with trash pickup. Day was listed when to drag trash cans to street, but no garbage truck came on stated days (probably not the fault of the house )

The house was beautiful. The kitchen was well supplied. All the bedrooms and the bathrooms were spacious. Beautiful large deck overlooking the ocean and with beautiful chairs and large table for outdoor eating. Private stairs to walk down to the ocean. Our family plans to book a reservation next summer.

Beautiful ocean front view!

There was 12 of us in our family. We had plenty of room with the carriage house, we had a wonderful stay and wonderful weather also. The home is located in a great area with plenty of parking. The carriage house is an added Plus with the pool situated between the two homes. Bob was great to answer any questions in a very timely manner. We would come back again.

Spring Break 2025

Coastal Cabana is the perfect place to stay if you're seeking a beachfront property. The views were stunning, and the house was spotless and spacious enough for all our guests. The guest house was an added bonus, offering great convenience. We spent a lot of time by the pool, and having an additional kitchen made cooking a breeze. Bob was a pleasure to work with and was incredibly accommodating.I can't recommend this property enough—book it, and you won’t be disappointed. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic

We had a family reunion celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. This was our first visit to Miramar Beach in November and the traffic was so much better than in the summer, with less crowds and perfect weather. This house is family friendly with an excellent kitchen that has 2 dishwashers, a huge fridge, a commercial type stove and an ice maker. We had a private chef come and cook a 3 course meal and he had no problems navigating in the space. The dining table had seating for 10 and the deck was a perfect place to relax as a family with excellent views of both the sunrise and sunset. The private pool is a great option when the ocean is rough or too cold, and the guest house is an added bonus. Every couple had their own bathroom and the beds were quite comfortable. This is a lovely home and we look forward to staying here again. Truly a great place to make special memories!

Family vacation

Overall, the main house and cottage were comfortable and clean. But what made our stay was the back deck and the gorgeous view!! We've been renting houses on 30A for almost 20 years. We'll spend 85% of our outdoor time at the pool and 15% at beach. With this location 90% at the beach and maybe 10% at pool. Some never even got in the pool. It was so convenient to go to beach; so close you could walk up to house for a refill. Rent other houses for the house; rent this house for the deck and beach panorama! This is first house we've rented beachfront; we've been spoiled !!

Family vacation

We loved our stay at coastal cabana. Being right on the beach was amazing! The gated deck was perfect for 3 small kids. Loved having private bathrooms for each of the king bedrooms. Having an oversized refrigerator was great. While overall I give this property 5 stars, there were a few things that caused a lower rating on individual topics. Everything was very clean when we arrived but we experienced many cockroaches during our stay. The address of the property that I was given after booking, including my check in email, listed a different house number. We were given the house number via a text message and asked to communicate with the host through texting & not the app. Because of past issues, not with this property, this communication style made me uncomfortable. Also, several of my questions in the app went unnoticed for over 24 hours and I had to ask again on several occasions, before & during the trip. We were there during a week of rain and the road back to the house flooded. If we all did not have SUV’s, we would not have been able to drive in and out during a 24 hr period. Be aware of the placement of the pool drain hole in the middle of the sidewalk. 2 people fell in it and were hurt. Just be careful! Living area seating only for 6-8. In the guest house, there are only 2 enclosed bedrooms. The bunk area is at the top of the stairs. These are things I would’ve liked to know ahead of time but would definitely stay here again!

A Lovely Beach House ON THE BEACH

You are always on the beach at this place. The view from kitchen, dinning, living room and expansive oceanfront deck is one of a kind. Nice layout with great bathrooms, comfortable beds, and all the amenities, including a not to be underestimated ice maker. My family of 5 had a lovely time enjoying a simple beach vacation at Coastal Cabana. Thank you Bob - a great and extremely responsive host.

Beautiful home and great location!

House is great and has all you want being beach front and with a nice pool. The layout of the main house and pool house is well done. The bunk in the pool house is a loft right outside the upstairs room not a room which was a little confusing from the pics. Kitchen areas in both houses are nice and good sized. The living room area in the main house is small so you will need to utilize the kitchen table and deck area for larger groups. The view from the deck is absolutely awesome. All in all great location, nice big pool, and the most beautiful beach in the mainland US is right out the back door. The only negative for me as I have rented a lot of beach houses was all the cleanup rules. Stripping beds and loading dishwashers is one thing but washing towels, unloading all clean dishes and cleaning counters to avoid a fee charge is something new to me but may be the norm for Destin. With a 9am checkout be prepared to have done all that stuff the night before you leave.

Perfect in Everyway!

Our family has been going to Destin for 23 years every summer, this is the best rental we have had! This is the first time we have a big group to celebrate a few birthdays and college graduation. We just spent a week there. Unbeatable location! Beach front is perfect as distance from deck to the ocean is short. Close to Silver Sand Outlet Mall, Destin Commons & many great restaurants. All the reviews are accurate. I want to add a few things not mentioned in other reviews. In addition to the high chair, there is a pack+play which is very handy as we had a 8 month old baby. There are beach toys, boogie boards, simple beach chairs & umbrellas, they are all stored nicely on the deck for use. The deck furniture is different from the picture, but I think better, very functional. We used them all week long day & night as we were blessed with comfortable weather. The rooms are well furnished and layed out. The bunk room in the main house actually are all queen beds. Very suitable for multiple families/couples as all the rooms have their own bathrooms. The separate ice machine is one of the best features and a rare one. Bob is very responsive to any questions we had pre & during the trip. We will definitely rent again if have this big group. Fabulous house!

Perfect setup for our family!

We loved this house! Actually, both of them! We had 8 adults and 5 kids ages 3 and under with plenty of room for all. The deck on the beachside was amazing and gated on both sides which was a plus for the kids. It was a great play area! The very short walk to the beautiful beach (just down the stairs) was wonderful and the heated pool was a lot of fun, too. The parents of the littles appreciated it being gated and separate from the house. The kitchen was well-appointed and we cooked in or grilled nearly every night. Grandma and Grandpa slept in the small extra house behind the big house and that worked very well. Would love to come back sometime!
