Beautiful 5 bedroom rental 1.5 blocks from the beach!!

We have a great home rental for you and your extended family! 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 floors, sleeps 10 and only a short walk to Ortley Beach. This home is in a great location, within walking distance to Seaside Heights Boardwalk and Lavallette. We have parking on both sides of the house and parking is permitted overnight on the streets in marked parking spaces. Please no smoking inside the house. We do allow dogs under 50 lbs.

Master bedroom, full bath, living room, kitchen, washer and dryer on the first floor. Four bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor. Deck and outside shower in the backyard with a grill.

** Note - Please be advised that this address will come up in GPS, Google Maps and even on the VRBO website as 107 7th Ave., Seaside Heights, NJ, but it is officially within the jurisdiction of Toms River, NJ, not Seaside Heights, NJ.

Garbage pickups are Monday and Thursday mornings. Recyclables pickup is Friday morning. This is also posted on the refrigerator.
Rentals during the summer season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are 7 day stay, Saturday to Saturday. Wifi info is posted on the refrigerator.
Please use the hose on the side of the house to clean off sand. Please do not do so in the showers. Sand will clog the drains.

Great house, great location. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping.

Summer 2022 Vacation

Great place to stay. Clean and spacious to accommodate 10 people. Location was great. Parking was perfect for 3 cars off street. Great walking distance to a lot of places and things to do. Been staying in Ortley beach for over 40 years at various place and this is definitely at the top of the list for best place.

Beds do not match the listing

Overall, the house is very nice and clean. I was confused about how the listing shows the beds and how they matched up with the pictures shown, so I contacted the manager of the property. Russ did answer promptly, but when we got to the property, the beds were not as he had stated. There is a queen bed downstairs, one queen bed upstairs, a double bed in one room, and a double bed and a twin bed in the 3rd room upstairs, and a double bed and twin in the 4th room upstairs. We had sheets for one queen bed for my husband and I, but we are uncomfortable on a double together. We chose to use 2 double beds, but had to split our one set of queen sheets between the 2 beds because we had relied on the information that Russ had personally responded to. I did contact him after the visit, but he felt his listing was accurate and wasn't concerned that his misinformation caused us some discomfort. As far as comfort, the beds were not great, but were not terrible either. We arrived late at night and the lock box was not in a well lit location. We were there in the off season, and the tv and internet were not available. I knew that from the rental agreement, but in the listing, it lists tv and satellite/cable in the amenities without a note about it not being available in the off season. It does state that later in the listing, but it is not easy to see. I did see it in the rental agreement that I had to sign to complete our rental. Overall, we did have a good stay. Other than the beds and tv/internet, we were pleasantly surprised with the house. From a guest's perspective, accurate listing information is very important to know how to plan. If those things were fixed in the listing, I would probably rate this house a 4.5. My biggest issue was the inaccurate information.

This house has been in the Christiana family since 1983 and it has seen many changes since we have owned it. My parents purchased it as a small three bedroom bungalo and after several upgrades and modifications, they decided to level it and put up the two-story modular home that it is today.

I am the youngest of three sons, and a retired law enforcement officer in NJ. My wife Amy and I are now managing the property for my parents, but we still enjoy time at the house ourselves during the year, especially during the summer. There are plenty of weeks to rent and we want you and your family to enjoy the same opportunities that we have for many years in Ortley Beach. We know you will love it and want to return.

This home is in a prime location if you love the New Jersey shore! The house is very well kept and clean. We wouldn't rent it to you or your family if it wasn't good enough for us. We appreciate family time and want your family to enjoy it as much as we do.
