Sitting nine miles south of Port St Joe proper, this getaway offers a bit of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The endless sugar-white sand of the Gulf of Mexico awaits mere steps from your front door, so a picnic on the beach as the kids splash in the clear water will be a perfect way to soak up the sunshine. For a bit of fun away from the sand, make your way over to the St. Joseph Bay State Buffer Preserve Visitor Center for a little nature exploration and hiking. Fishing trip

Granddad, father and son fishing trip. Excellent place to stay, we have made this trip twice to the same property and are continuing to look forward to visiting again.

Great Spot

This was a great house and location. Everything we were looking for in a quiet spot that was dog friendly. Would have been nice to have a key to lock up with.

Amazing location

We loved this home, one of the best rentals we’ve booked. The views of the water were better than expected. The decks had ample seating for hanging out with the family. Easy and close beach access. The garage was nice for extra storage space for beach gear which also has a nice bathroom and extra laundry facility. We also loved the pet bath in the laundry room. Would stay again!

Beautiful house with a beautiful view. Very quiet area which was nice. Short walk to the beach.

Everything was great. Kitchen was fully equipped. It was hard to find a negative but we were hoping to have access to a grill. Other than that we would definitely rent this house again!!

Great family time

Nice and low key. Loved KRAZY FISH (live music) first Baptist port st Joe was sweet church for Sunday worship, Perfect layout and beach view and access Bring your own everything, including paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. They do provide toilet paper and bar soap.

Want to keep a secret

I just love this place. It is our second thanksgiving week here and I want to come back every year. I love the view, the master bedroom and the fact we can spend time with our fur family. It is so hard to find quality rentals at the beach that take j to account that dogs are some peoples children. Our dogs are so well behaved, some times people prefer them to kids. Ha ha.

First Trip to Florida

The house was absolutely beautiful. Beach was just a short walk from house. Waking up to look at the ocean was wonderful! Sunset was amazing on the beach. Sunrise I tried to see from the upper patio and it was rough! I wanted to get to the beach to see it but didn’t make it in time!! Getting in was a bit rough but they made it right! I would absolutely rent this place again! And probably will when we do go again!

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our time at Curve Appeal! The walk to the beach isn't far at all, and the drive to other beaches in the area is super close. The screened in porch is fantastic, and the porch upstairs is perfect for star gazing. The steps going into the home are a workout, and scary for our dog. It would really be a nice touch if they would let you use the elevator. They also had someone come to work on the washing machine and no one told us that they were coming, and he was very rude. Over all a great place to stay.

Beautiful appeal

Such a beautiful home and didn’t want to leave. Great location, easy access to the beach. Above and beyond on the quality and amount of kitchenware, thank you. Didn’t use the trash compactor as I never used one. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. Shame the fireplace and elevator wasn’t working. Are dog loved the screened in area as much as we did. We will be returning to Curve Appeal soon!

We’ll be back!

This house had everything we need to have the perfect getaway with the family. It’s literally steps away from the beach and it’s in such a great area with a very private beach. The only complaint I have, which isn’t even a big deal to me, was the fact that there was no bathtubs. They had BEAUTIFUL walk in extra large showers which was amazing, but it made it difficult for the little ones (age 2 months and 1.5 years old)… luckily the kitchen sink was a farmhouse sink and I easily bathed the babies in there! Seriously tho, the master suite upstairs was so nice and this is probably one of the nicest places we have stayed over the years at the beach. We will definitely be coming back to curve appeal!!!

Gated and Quiet

This is a really nice. Gated entry with only 5 houses. Its big and specious. The master is the top floor with a balcony looking onto the beach. Vacasa management is a cut above, found them to be helpful and always answered the phone. Total customer experience, I rate this excellent. Everything we needed was there.

Wonderful home

My wife and young son had a great time at Curve Appeal. The home is spacious and warm, and the location is perfect - a few steps from the beach and an easy drive to Cape San Blas or Port St. Joe. The beach is quiet, with just a few families nearby, though there are busier spots on either side of the area. The kitchen is well-equipped and the screened-in porch was a favorite spot for relaxing and reading. The master bedroom upstairs also features a great balcony for stargazing. The one area of improvement we'd note was that guests can't use the elevator. We arrived in a strong thunderstorm and had to carry our bags up the outdoor staircase in the rain, so the use of the elevator for loading in and out would have been really nice. That said, guests can use the garage, which is nice plus. All in all, this is a really great home, and I highly recommend it to groups who are looking for a quiet, nice spot on Florida's Forgotten Coast. Thank you to the owners for offering up such a lovely spot!

A relaxing, comfortable, dog friendly beach home!

The home offers all of the comforts of home and more. It is in a very small quiet neighborhood. We are already planning our next visit....The master bedroom on the upper third floor has an outdoor open air deck that provides wonderful gulf and dune views along with sunrises and sunsets. The two additional bedrooms on the main 2nd level were nicely sized with access to the shared hall bathroom. The main level also has a comfortable living room and dining room setup with an open kitchen and island. Plenty of seating choices. The gulf facing main level deck is screened with a sitting area and dining table allowing us to enjoy morning and evenings outside without the bugs. Our two dogs were right at home with afternoon naps in the sun. The washer and dryer worked well and the dog wash station was a nice add. The driveway level has a fenced in area for dogs which was a huge bonus. The owners provided a beach cart and other beach items for guests. The beach is a short walk across the street and thru one of two dune paths. The house is setup as a very comfortable rental while maintaining a feel of home. Towels are provided along with hotel type hand soaps and basic paper products. You may need to bring extra paper products. Pots, pans, utensils and plates/glasses, etc. are available but you will need to bring all of your own cooking supplies, oils, salt, pepper, etc. There is a Piggy Wiggle ~15-20 minutes away along with a handful of restaurants if you forgot something. The internet worked well for streaming shows. The glass on the fireplace was missing during our visit so hopefully the Vacasa team will repair prior to our next visit. Overall a great place to unwind and just enjoy walking on the beach.
