Look no further- you found the one! This is Porch Dreamin'- the perfect blend of mountain peace, modern luxury & location! Not your average rental cabin- the energy is different here- and once you stay, you will see what we mean. Updated regularly & well-maintained by private owners, this clean, spacious cabin is situated on a quiet loop in serene Wears Valley- while close to all of the adventures the area offers including Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove & Gatlinburg, it provides a peaceful oasis for your much needed low-key family time. With no winding roads or cliffs to navigate, you will have easy, year-round access without compromising on the views. Here you can relax, recharge and roam in the Smokies. Take a morning walk, raid the coffee bar and pick your spot on the wrap around porch spanning 3 sides of the cabin, to take in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park - located just across the street! You can relax in the screened in porch or on the large side deck with multiple seating areas, a propane fire table, dining area with picnic table, a sparkling clean hot tub & a view of nature's magic in every direction...or maybe relaxing on the bed swing or in one of the rocking chairs would be more your speed. Head down to the huge yard and take a seat in one of the chairs while the kids play in the "Kid's Cabin" playhouse or start a pickup game of football on the lawn. Don't forget to star gaze and make s'mores on the deck before bed.
On the first floor, the great room has vaulted ceilings and stylish mountain aesthetic. The generously equipped kitchen includes a large island with 2 built in drink and wine mini fridges and a stocked coffee & hot chocolate bar. The adjacent dining area seats 6-8 comfortably. The main level also includes a queen bedroom, a 3rd bedroom with 4 custom, twin bunk beds for your cubs to hibernate, a full bathroom & a laundry room with washer & dryer.

The open loft space upstairs has a large leather couch (NOT a pull out/sleeper), an arcade table (61 games to choose from!), dart board, large flat screen TV, board games and a lending library of books - you can borrow a book to take advantage of one of the many spots to read or leave a book when you are finished. There is also a desk (hand-crafted by the owner) with a stunning view if you need to plug in during your stay (we hope you don't).
The over-sized primary bedroom is also upstairs with a King size bed, a twin day bed - and a large walk-in closet. The ensuite bathroom has vaulted ceilings, double vanity, a walk- in shower & a large, jetted tub with a view.
A new charcoal grill and EV charger are located by the large, covered driveway with parking for multiple cars. Note that an RV will NOT fit in the driveway due to the deck. Additional trailer parking available on the oversized lot with advanced owner approval. We also have an EV extension cord on site, so please let us know if you have an EV.
We take great care with Porch Dreamin' and enjoy this mountain retreat with our family and we truly hope that you will enjoy it with yours!
Notes: Steps are required for entry and not suitable for those who may struggle to navigate them. Guests will not have garage/basement access nor use of the fireplace. Cabin has a whole home water filtration system. No smoking/vaping indoors nor outdoors on property.
*Renter must disclose all guests at time of booking. Additional over night guests are NOT allowed unless disclosed and approved in advance by the owner.
**Location: The entrance to the Foothills Parkway is less than a mile away from this Smoky Mountain paradise. Metcalf Bottoms is a fantastic picnic spot in the national park and features tables, grills, and the cool waters of the Little River. In terms of dining, local favorites Hillbilly's Pancake house, Elvira's Cafe and the Wears Valley Social (alternating food trucks and weekend entertainment) are all within a few minutes. Heavenly Roast Coffee, multiple wineries, a moonshine distillery and several general stores are also within 5 minutes. Turn left on Wears Valley Road to visit the peaceful side of the mountain- Townsend -making this one of the shorter drives to Cades Cove- or turn right and head straight into Pigeon Forge where the main attractions (Dollywood, Dollywood Splash Country, Pigeon Forge Snow, Dolly Parton’s Stampede, etc.) are approximately 13 miles away.
***Pool and fishing pond access is located less than 3 miles from the cabin at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli off of Happy Hollow Road in Wears Valley. Fishing pole rentals are available on-site in season.

-Maximum Capacity: 10 (King, Queen, 5 Twin, loft couch can sleep 1- let us know in advance if you need linens for the couch- it is NOT a pull out). *Due to the bunk beds, the cabin only sleeps up to 6 to 7 adults comfortably.
-Property is video monitored & recorded 24/7 at each entrance and driveway for guest and property safety.
-Security deposit will be required.
-Must be 25 to rent - NO EXCEPTIONS
-Check in time 4 PM (ask about early check-in, it might be possible!)

-No events or parties of any kind.
-Non-smoking and NO pet property. Please respect this for our guests with allergies.
-No Fireworks or fire on property due to fire hazard.
-Children must be supervised at ALL times- especially near water.
Property is located on a large lot directly across from National Park property in a quiet, residential area. All rentals must respect the area residents and enforced quiet hours. Potentially dangerous wildlife, including snakes, bear and coyote are located on and around the property.
Required Rental Agreement contains property rules. Please read it and if you cannot comply, we will cancel your booking.
