Me and my partner had a really nice stay, I suggest adding a towel to wipe the dishes and gloves or the oven would make it even better! It was really enjoyable.

I would warn other travellers that this place is much smaller than it looks in the photos. The 2nd floor is very low - my 5'6" daughter had to bend over as she walked upstairs. Also, the stairs are treacherous to go upstairs - very narrow and dangerous. They're comparable to a ladder and not a staircase.Getting in was interesting, even after the host sent us her guidance notes. There are two key boxes in the 'mailbox' so it was confusing to choose the right one; after walking up 4 flights of stairs with our luggage, the keys were tricky to work in the flat's door. But we managed to figure it out, after several tries. This place is NOT air conditioned as noted when I booked it. We were there during a heatwave, mind you. However, after many messages with the host I believe she has amended the listing so that it isn't advertised as having air conditioning. On the good side, the host was responsive to our issues, the place was clean when we arrived, the location is nice and close to Vieux Lyon and downtown. Just be ready to drag your suitcases up 4 flights of tricky stairs, and feel like you're working on an 'escape room' situation. ;-)
