Featuring a wrap around screened porch and deck, this second floor 2-bedroom (and loft), 2-bath resort retreat's main level is home to a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite. The loft offers a vacation space of its own. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. *4 TVs, 2 DVDs, Wifi. Fireplace is not available for guest use.

Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

The Sea Colony resort is a great family friendly place. Lots of amenities. The condo does need some work, but it was great for our situation.

Nice, just dated

Considering the age and shape of all furniture, appliances and linens, the rental was overpriced. Sea Colony is a nice resort, close to Bethany Beach.

The proprty was clean but outdated, most of the blinds were damaged. It was large and fit our group.The temp inside was 86 when we arrived. I felt the property managers weren't honest with us. We kept being told the AC would be fixed the next day, the next day... finally on Monday they moved us to a new property when the temp was 93 inside. They did refund some of our money but we would have much prefered honesty from the beginning. 2 nights spent in extreme heat was awful.

Clean condo at Bethany Beach

We loved the cleanliness of the inside upon arrival. Everything was stocked and well arranged. The only issues were the state of the outside balcony and furniture there. We enjoyed the closeness to pools/etc. and convenience of the tram stop to get to the beach. Great vacation!

Improvements needed for this property

No internet during the first day because it was not paid for, no cable tv, bathroom door does not close, poorly equipped kitchen, no wine glasses, kitchen appliance were old, bathrooms weren’t clean. Otherwise, freshly painted inside, good location, resort quest management was helpful.

The property was nice. I like being on the 2nd floor. The layout of the condo was nice, but the furniture is out dated. Great place for families to use the resort. Our children loved the splash pad and the many pools and play areas, and of course close to the beach! We had some issues with checking in and Vacasa was helpful. The outside porch wasn't clean and we realized the condo wasn't spring cleaned for our arrival. Our property agent, Liz was great and helped us tremendously, and George, the maintenance guy was great! Overall, it was a good experience and I'd do it again!

Good if you just need to lay your head at night but not a luxury home.

I would not book again. The carpets were all stained and none of the tvs in the bedrooms worked. The closets were filled with old dirty pillows. The dryer is awful. It takes 3 times just to get one load dry. The outdoor chairs are all rusted. All of the rooms need new mattresses.

When you initially walk in it looks ok. Then you see the concerns. The out door furniture was rusted so badly you couldn’t sit on it. If you have 6 people- the kitchen is not got for cooking. The floors were dirty, the washer is small and the dryer doesn’t work well, you need to run it 2xs. The blinds in the bedrooms are broken, the bathroom has several bulbs out( which can be easily fixed by has not been). The master bath light/vent needs replaced. Cobwebs everywhere. So paying for a cleaning fee, what are they cleaning?????? The deck had moldy mats and was dirty. The beds are NOT comfortable at all. The blinds in the living area keep falling off. The rug is stained. The dinning table is wiggly and the bar chairs- do not sit on, very unsafe and tippy. Knobs off the light switches. This unit is very run down. We stayed at sea Colony last year at a different location on whispering Pines and it was a 10/10. This location was a big disappointment. I cried my first night there with the disappointment. The property manager was kind and helpful. She did get a few chairs for the deck delivered and some storage containers delivered. But other things stated did not happen.

Fine, not great, big issue with AC

We only took this unit for the location + number of bedrooms, and for those two things it was fine. The unit was fairly run-down - carpets stained & worn, furniture getting raggedy, blinds broken in places - they still mostly worked but had gaps. BUT THEN, on our fourth day, the AC compressor broke, so the AC wasn't pushing cold air. It was over 80 degrees in the unit. We discovered it Thursday when we came back at night, so understandable that they're not going to get it fixed after 9pm. HOWEVER, I was texting with customer support that night AND ALL THE NEXT DAY, and they were unable to get it fixed the next day either. The "local team" apparently came out, but I think all they did was fiddle with the thermostat. We had told them explicitly that it was the compressor, because we could hear it trying to turn on and then fizzling. I told them they needed to get an AC repair person out, and they were unable to do that. A big place like Sea Colony ought to have repair folks on call, so the fact that they couldn't get the AC fixed, and it was boiling hot in the unit Friday night as well, was severely underwhelming. I will endeavor not to stay there in future, even thought they have a lock on a great location. The failure to address the AC in a day was pretty bad.

The carpeting in this unit needs a good, deep cleaning but not even sure that would help it. Replacement would probably be better. Stains on main floor as well as in loft. Had to run the dryer twice to dry clothes and 3 times to dry beach towels. Outside metal deck table needs to be replaced as well. Rusty in spots. Maintenance was called as there were ants in master bedroom and kitchen. Good location for walk to pool.
