Gîte de L'hôtel-dieu, Mon Château en Bois en Bourgogne Avec SPA

At our “Monuments Hystériques” estate!
Experience life among the treetops: 20 meters above the ground, perched on a cliff, in this wooden castle inspired by the Hôtel-Dieu de Beaune.
An unforgettable moment surrounded by greenery in a dreamlike world, in the heart of the magnificent Ouche Valley
In Burgundy, along its canal, near Dijon and Beaune.
This brand-new vacation rental is the result of traditional carpentry techniques: here you’ll experience the history of fine craftsmanship and the traditions of this trade.
The accommodation
This château is unique in that its roof structure is fully exposed: 2 private bedrooms and a magnificent mezzanine bedroom overlooking the large living area (kitchen, living room, dining room).
A bathroom with a “double shower,” separate toilet, wine rack, large wraparound outdoor terrace (40 m²), gazebo, and other surprises!
Guest Access
The Gîte de l’Hôtel Dieu is situated on a large private lot, with 2 to 3 parking spaces, and is not overlooked by neighbors.
Additional Notes
For example, set out to discover unexplored castles, listen to the bellowing of the stags, and savor local delicacies...
We’ve just finished building it—come enjoy it!

Perfect setting for relaxed Burgundy visit

Very welcoming and friendly hosts, attentive to details and regular follow up if all goes well. Well located in quite village near the canal du bourgogne and near to the main Burgundy sights and vineyards. Great addition of jacuzzi and fenced off garden for our dog. Great stay with perfect hosts

The house is special and very pretty. Perfectly clean and lovingly decorated. The third bedroom in the loft/gallery is open to the living room and should be used by the persons going to bed latest and/or getting up earliest 😆 Communication with the hosts was uncomplicated, quick and very hospitable. We would come back when in the area!

We stayed at La Bussiere-sur-Ouche for 4 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time. The accommodation was very well appointed and it was great to relax in the hot tub of an evening. We experienced plenty of walks (and runs) along the local canal. Helene was very helpful and provided a list of local attractions and restaurants. She couldn't have been more attentive. I would highly recommend a meal at L'Oree du bois in Chateauneuf-en-Auxois which is a 15 minute car journey. I would also suggest a day in Dijon which is delightful.

quiet lovely home.

The house was lovely and our host was so helpful and welcoming. The host even left croissants for us one morning. The village the home is in is very quaint and the bakery was one we visited each morning for fresh bread. There is also a Saturday morning farmers market that we visited with a wonderful selection of vegetables, olives and cheeses. My friend who lives in the area is planning to go there again for a bit of a retreat. I live in the states or would certainly go back.

A lovely tranquil spot for a relaxing break away from the rat race

We (family of 4, kids aged 7 and 9) spent a week here and we all fell in love with it, it’s a truly unique and homely building with all mod cons. If you want a peaceful time away from urban stress this place is perfect. We spent a lot of time at the house relaxing and using the hot tub, but also went to Lac des Setton, Chateaunuef en Auxios, had an amazing lunch at La Ferme de Rolle and a few local walks and cycles down the canal. The hosts are friendly and responsive and the boulangerie 2 minutes down the hill is amazing and danger to your waste line.
