Take in the beautiful scenery as you drive the paved roads to your vacation home. Once there, you'll enjoy the private home secluded in the forest with gorgeous mountain views from inside the house and beautiful outside deck. The house has an open floorplan with split bedrooms - A king master suite, plus a queen bedroom and bath. There is also a queen sleeper sofa available in the living room.
There are windows everywhere, bringing the outside IN! This includes several skylights throughout the house.
The focal point of the living room is the beautiful wood burning fireplace. Snuggle up and enjoy your fire while watching your favorite shows on Dish Satellite TV.
Dining at the dining room table is extra special, as you take in the mountain views while enjoying your meal.
Feel like cooking on your vacation? Our kitchen is well equipped, providing everything you might need to cook delicious meals during your stay. Start each day with a hot cup of coffee, gazing at the mountains, and planning your day.
Bringing your dog with you? Your fur baby will enjoy his/her own personal dog run, which is attached to the deck that the whole family can enjoy.
Want to take relaxation to the next level? Relax in the hot tub just steps from the deck, and take in the same gorgeous mountain views.
For the cycle enthusiast, Brevard is the "Cycling Capital of the South"! 7 stellar biking loops begin Brevard. Your vacation home includes bike storage area and wash station.
Minutes away from popular destinations: Pisgah Forest, Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, DuPont State Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Fly Fishing on the Davidson River. Enjoy a day at the Biltmore Estates and wine tasting, less than an hour away. Flying into the area? Ashville airport is only 23 miles away.

The words peaceful,quiet, reflective come to mind. Even though Brevard is in close proximity, we chose to spend the majority of our time at the house. We did spend one day at the dog park and then to Oscar Blues for a beverage plus a righteous burger. Thanks Wendy, our host,for some quality QT.

Another Great Stay

We love this property and it’s easy to see why it gets all five star reviews. Wendy, the property owner, is a pleasure to deal with and the home is always in tip top shape. The location, views and fenced yard are just some of the things that keep us coming back!

Living on the North Carolina coast we were looking to escape to a cooler place in the mountains. We discovered a hidden gem tucked away in Pisgah Forest. The house and views were beautiful. Our furry friend love being able to run around in fenced in back yard. The location was perfect for day drips. We explored the Pisgah Forest National Forest, the Blue Ridge parkway, hiking in DuPont State Park. There are so many small towns like Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville with so much to do. Wendy, the owner was so easy to work with and very quick to respond to our questions. We hated to leave and are already thinking about next year!

Great Base Camp

The house was comfortable and peaceful. The view was very serene and although there is a house adjacent we never saw or heard anyone. The house was neat and welcoming with lots of available storage in the kitchen, bedrooms and closets. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware, etc. We enjoyed the solitude on the mountain side while being within 15 minutes of much of Brevard proper. We ventured out to hikes and waterfalls most everyday as well as driving some on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was quick to respond to questions from where do I find this or that in the house to restaurant recommendations. A great place to unplug and enjoy nature.

3rd time and still a charm

We've stayed at this property 3 times and we sincerely hope there will be more visits in our future. Perfect for one to two couples and our foxhound. The fenced in dog area makes for easier living. The house has no cluttering, a very special view, proximity to so much the area has to offer, and peace and quiet. Wendy makes check in so easy. Hate to recommend it as I don't want it to be any more popular than it already is!

Trip to the Land of Waterfalls

We can't say enough about how much we loved this property. Beautiful home, extremely comfortable inside and out, and the absolute most stunning view off the back deck. It was a short, beautiful drive from Brevard and very easy to get to dozens of hiking trails. Wendy was unbelievably accommodating. Every question we asked was answered promptly. Our stay coincided with wildfires nearby, and Wendy kept us up to date on pertinent info. We felt extremely cared for in such an unexpected situation, and it made it so much less stressful. We will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises

Winter wonderland

Our 12 day stay at this home was amazing, especially the spectacular view of the mountains. White-tailed deers visited daily and we often saw white squirrels. Our stay was filled with adventure. The home was clean, kitchen fully stacked, and living room cozy and inviting with a wood burning fireplace. Master bathroom has a nice Jacuzzi. We took our golden retriever for daily walks around the beautiful quiet neighborhood.Hiked 20 waterfalls and went to the Biltmore Estate. Everything is close by. We highly recommend this home. Wendy is fantastic and responds right away.

This property is beautiful and well taken care of! We spent Christmas there as a family and the kitchen was so well stocked we only needed racks to cool the cookies and an electric knife for our ham. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the dog run and the hot tub was perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful vacation home with amazing view and location.

Most beautiful vacation home we have rented. It was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Wendy is very kind and helpful. The location is perfect in a quiet area with amazing views. One day we were even above the clouds, when we were sitting on the porch. Started our days with coffee on the deck enjoying the view and then easy access to Pisgah Forest, Brevard, or DuPont. We’d certainly love to come back.

Breathtaking!

Best VRBO Property Yet!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was immaculate, very comfortable, and has the best stocked kitchen I've seen. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. We especially enjoyed eating meals on the deck with the great mountain view. After a long day of hiking a soak in the hot tub was nice.

The best mountain escape

This is our second stay here with our 2 dogs. The house is clean, fully equipped with anything you may need and is the most peaceful retreat for a mountain getaway. The patio view is second to none. Wendy is a very communicative and responsive host. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Business and Pleasure

Craft show vendors in Brevard but came early for a little R & R prior to the show. The views from the deck of the mountains were amazing as was the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of spices and cookware. There is a coffee pot but no coffee so bring your own. The bed was very comfy. House was very nicely decorated and the host was an excellent communicator.

Still a winner

This is our second stay at this property, and we certainly hope to continue this tradition. The house is perfect for 2 couples as the spacious bedroom suites are on opposite sides of the sitting and dining rooms. The kitchen is well appointed with a dining area overlooking an ever-changing mountain scene. Our hound dog loves the dog run and it is so convenient. He plays while we enjoy the special view from the comfortable deck. It is a very quiet setting and short drive to most anywhere. Our host, Wendy, is always helpful with checkin and makes sure we are comfortable. This property is a winner.

Perfect Location

Amazing property with a fantastic view without a crazy drive to get there. The location is perfect to access downtown Brevard, Dupont, Ashville and Greenville! Peaceful and relaxing. Appreciated the dog friendly accommodations. Wendy is very responsive and great to work with. We will be back soon.

THANKSGIVING GETAWAY

We like to spend every Thanksgiving in a home away from home and this year we selected this beautiful property not far from the Pisgah National Forest and within minutes of Brevard. We picked the perfect spot. The property was spacious, beautifully decorated and the the fact that we could enjoy a real fire was an added bonus. We also got to take our four legged family members with us. The view was amazing, the air fresh and the neighborhood peaceful. The host was communicative and very helpful too. Can't say enough good things about this property. We loved it!

Another Wonderful Visit

Having vacationed in the Brevard area for many years, this is our favorite spot to stay! Perfect location, lovely home and the fenced yard is a real bonus for our two four legged family members. This is our third vacation at Wendy’s home. I think that speaks for itself!

Delightful stay in Pisgah Forest

Wendy's house lived up to our expectations! It was just as lovely in person as featured on this site. The home is decorated very tastefully and the view looking out towards the mountains was great, we saw several beautiful sunsets when we were not out at the music festival or dinner. The home is conveniently located to town, the college and music center and the Pisgah and Dupont forest for our daily excursions. It is very peaceful and private. Our dog loved the fenced yard as well. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Wendy for providing us with a relaxing and restorative experience in Brevard.

Great place

Great place. Nice home and amenities. For two adults it was a great spot to stay while we went hiking and exploring locally. Very quiet and not too remote. There is one neighboring home but visibility is mostly blocked so privacy is still present. Would definitely stay here again.
