We had a wonderful time at Riverdance!! The pics on line were great but the property in person was amazing! We were blessed with snow and beautiful landscape. The home was clean and inviting with plenty of amenities abound. The hot tub was amazing and included a great view of the river and mountains. Greg was amazing and stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this amazing place for a winter getaway or a summer vacation.

We had a nice stay at Riverdance Lodge. Communication with Gary the property manager was great. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is plenty of comfortable furniture. Note that bedroom 4 does not have a Murphy bed as the listing says and the master/main bedroom mattress is quite soft and mushy. My husband and I moved to a downstairs room for a better bed after our guests left. The sauna didn’t have many jets that were working but we still enjoyed it.

We had another wonderful stay at Riverdance Lodge! The home is comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The location is ideal—close enough to town to enjoy all the shops and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful with beautiful mountain views. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a relaxing Leavenworth escape!

So glad we found this liutle puece of Heaven!

We arrived about an hour earier than we thought we would driving in from Oklahoma. Greg, the owner was finishing up getting the house ready for us. He told us could hang out on the patio & go down to see & explore the river. This place is amazing! So quiet and peaceful. Just beautiful! The house was clean and plenty large for all 7 of us, plus the dog. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would need. The linens were comfy and clean. The beds were comfy and water pressure was great. We never ran out of hot water with all of us getting the day started. We had a blast with the ping pong table. All the balconies were nicely furnished for a great family get together. The fire pit down by the river was great for smores & sitting around making new memories. We had one liitle hiccup. The A/C didnt cool adequately. I contacted Greg about it, he was there in minutes to check it out. He had a service guy there the next morning. I say little hiccup because we just opened the windows and let the fresh, clean air flow thru. We we're never "hot". Our family has decided that this is the place for us. Evertime we get up to Leavenworth for a visit, this is our first choice everytime! Thank you Greg, for letting us invade your little piece of heaven for a couple of days!

Perfect distance from Leavenworth

My family and I had a great time at the Riverdance Lodge. It is about a 5 minute drive into town. The rooms were spacious and the outdoor area is perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

Long weekend getaway

Gorgeous views, excellent accommodations, close to town while also feeling secluded and private. Host was very helpful when needed. Heat had a hard time reaching the lower level and wifi was a bit spotty; kitchen could do with a few more necessities, but the property was wonderful and we had a fabulous time.

Best Experience EVER !!!

All I can say is WOW !! What a fantastic holiday time we had at Greg’s amazing property! My family already want to look at our summer scheduled to see when we can go back for another stay! The home is beautiful, very large and offers everything you could ever want and is dog friendly which is such a bonus! Greg was an awesome host and so understanding, accommodating and friendly. Better than expected

The photos don't do it justice. Such a warm feeling walking into this property. We were here for Christmas and the house was beautifully decorated and welcoming. It had everything we needed and more. The host popped by to say hi and we even found one of them the next day clearing snow for us from the drive. Definitely recommend this property.

A Magical Thanksgiving

We stayed at Riverdance Lodge for Thanksgiving weekend. We were blown away at the location, and beauty of the home. The owner was there at check-in to greet us, and help with anything we needed. The house had everything we needed for an amazing Thanksgiving meal! The kids enjoyed exploring the property, and we loved going into town. Amazing memories were made, Thank you so much!

Fantastic Getaway in Leavenworth

Excellent stay along the beautiful Icicle River! We booked both Riverdance and Meadowdance. We have stayed at both several times and as always they exceed our expectations. Also Greg is a wonderful host and graciously welcomed us. We will definitely be returning!

Labor Day getaway

Very nice and relaxing property for family getaway. Convenient and close to town but quiet and serene. We really enjoyed the privacy and riverside frontage for swimming.

Family Getaway

Wonderful house for a family vacation! Views are stunning and the location on Icicle Creek is perfect for paddleboarding, floating or just hanging out. Greg is an amazing host. We'll be back next year!

Incredible experience all around!

My friends and I had a fantastic time at the Riverdance Lodge in Leavenworth. The house was more than we ever could’ve asked for, and the location was equally impressive, located right on the river. Greg, our host, was very welcoming and offered assistance if we needed it. I highly recommend it for any group of people (we had 7 adults total) if they want to do the Leavenworth experience right. Would love to come back at some point and enjoy this slice of heaven again. Incredible!

Great stay at Lodge by the River

Leavenworth can be hot in the summer and we nailed it. Fortunately we had a river in the backyard with a perfect swimming hole. We all used it all weekend and had a blast. The Lodge itself was perfect for our group (8 adults, one toddler, and two dogs). Location was safe and quiet but just a few minutes from town. We would return.

Great house with a great location

This was our second stay at this property. Great house with plenty of room for the eight of us and our dog. Greg is a great host and keeps the property in good condition. The location on the river with the mountains as a backdrop is a great way to start or finish the day.

Pristine relaxing environment with fantastic host!

What an amazing place, ospreys, deer and so much more! Loved the sauna, cold plunge in the Icicle river, easy parking, game room, multiple living rooms and kitchens, two laundry machines, private backyard on the edge of a giant field, the house layout and ease of shared yet private spaces with plenty of room and just a few minutes drive to so many fantastic hikes, the adorable town of Leavenworth, the golf course and white water rafting. Wish we'd had more time to stay and enjoy. The fishing right in the back yard was terrific and our son caught a big salmon that we quickly cooked up! Greg was an incredible host, so kind and helpful with fishing and bait and oodles of local knowledge and lore. He was always available and so gracious with his time. We felt lucky to have this slice of heaven for even a few days and will definitely be back!

In 1980, My wife and I set out from Michigan to Washington on a 3000 mile 3 year cross country hike [hiked every foot] in search of the perfect location for us to call home.
We found it here in Leavenworth.

I also found that inn keeping is my passion. In 1983, I started my first lodging business. In 2005, River Meadows LLC was born and Riverdance Lodge opened which later expanded to include Meadow Dance Lodge next door to Riverdance,
One of the things that I enjoy is that I have my own salmon hole at Riverdance Lodge to share with my guests. I feel very fortunate to have found my home in a magical location....come share the dance with me.

In response to a for sale ad in the newspaper, my first visit to the property was in the spring of 1988.

When I found the property, there was only a primitive dirt road. It was early morning as I walked through the rough trail with my six-month old son Josh on by back and my golden lab "Honey". I remember asking myself if we were at the right place. We wound down through the thick stand of Cottonwood trees and various wild bushes when suddenly the trail opened to an incredibly expansive and breathtaking meadow. I realized that I was standing at the confluence of the Wenatchee and Icicle Rivers.

I stood in awe in that early morning light gazing at the surrounding snow capped mountains where the two rivers met. I knew that I had found a special place. I'll always remember that day, Josh giggling with laughter as we skipped stones on the river and Honey fetching sticks...I didn't waste any time purchasing what is now Riverdance Lodge.

Now, more than 30 years later and all the dancing my family have experienced on this river, we offer to share this dance with you.

You won’t have the usual concerns of where to go for fun or who has the best safety record. You can relax and let the scenery go by or for those looking for a little more adventure there are lots of activities right out the front door.

Photo opportunities are everywhere, eagle, deer and bear are common sightings. Hang out at the rivers edge for the next critter experience or kick back on the deck and let the next photo come to you.
