Wonderful Place

Wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful stay, super cute home. It was in the perfect location, close to spearfish, sturgis, deadwood, and rapid city. Also had great communication with the owner!

Great for a quiet getaway

This cabin is a nice little hideaway. We missed the turtle sign a few times but eventually learned to keep our eyes peeled! I thought we got the deck that is shown but only got use of the patio. My mistake and it took nothing away from the experience. We were out and about most of the time anyway. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute place. Perfect for our stay. Very clean and comfy. So cool to find out we were next door neighbors to the Termesphere Gallery. Got to visit there and meet Dick. Nice and close to town and the Spearfish Canyon but felt like you were in the country.

Turtle house

Lovely, tidy tiny house. It's right next to the Termesphere Gallery so if course we visited there and got to meet the artist. I don't know if it specified it in the description, but it is just the downstairs of the house.

Great Stay in the Turtle House!

We had a wonderful and cozy Valentines/Presidents Day weekend in the Turtle House. It was great to visit the Termeshere Gallery and Dick and Markie. We had planned to do some snowshoeing but with -22o temps we settled for hot toddies and movies instead! It has everything one needs for 2 - 4 people for a great getaway in the northern Black Hills!

The Turtle House

The perfect little cabin hideaway. We felt so cozy in our little retreat. We loved the warmth of the fireplace. The breakfast sandwiches were an amazing find, thank you so much! We did hear someone walking around upstairs which was startling. Especially as my husband was still sleeping and my 3 year old was startled and ran to me. We tried to make it not bother us. Would stay there again if we found ourselves in the area again.

Amazing

For our 1st time to SD and the Blackhills this property was perfectly located. We woke up to deer in the yard every morning and came home to them grazing in the evenings. Its and hr dr to devils tower and and hr 1/2 to Custer/ Mount Rushmore area. We came with it two young boys 4&7 & my mom. The space was perfect us for us. The one thing I will recommend is if you have a favorite pillow bring you'll sleep much better.

You should pass on this property

The property is in disaster. High grass/weeds. Broken down trailer full of junk. Some kind of a glass house with broken out sections filled with weeds. Some kind large broken sphere out front etc... The inside was not much better we left 3 days early because of this. The inside had a smell of cats! Bad all around not happy will definitely think twice about vrbo 😩

This place is amazing! Its tucked away in the woods. Had a outdoor grill too We seen deer and turkeys every night and morning. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved it here, to the point my kids didn’t want to leave! It was such a cute little place, out in the quiet and perfect for our getaway. It was a great location for all activities, especially exploring Spearfish Canyon. We would definitely stay again if we come back that way from Wisconsin!

Awesome getaway!

My little family loved staying here! Awesome proximity to Spearfish and Deadwood, but you feel like you're in the hills/countryside which we love. Great amenities. Grateful we found this place for a quick vacation!

Looks cozy but could use many updates

Furniture was very worn and the bed needs replacement. AC unit did not fit the window. Shower curtain was black on the bottom and the shower is very small. One of the doors to the bathroom was swollen shut and not usable. Could be a cute cozy place but needs some improvement for comfort

Great location

Great location, close to the expressway but far enough for peace and quiet after a day of driving or exploring the area. Comfortable and equipped with a lot of extras.
