Island Winds West is a family-friendly beachfront resort that is within walking distance of fine-dining, shopping and concert/festival venues. Beyond the resort, you'll enjoy the convenience of being just steps away from Gulf Shores' beloved hotspots—The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, Sea-N-Suds, and a myriad of local treasures. Shopping, dining, and beachside fun are simply moments away. But the indulgence doesn't stop there! 4. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
5. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.

Appliance need updating, comfortable beds, gorgeous view, great pool, saw dolphins everyday, enjoyed using the condos beach items, enjoyed the area and it was easy to get into the condo parking lot and close to activties and restaurants.

The view was fantastic! The rooms were really nice, the beds were a little hard but it wasn’t bad. It was a safe location surrounded by places you could walk to get dinner, drinks and a fun night! We loved staying here!

Really cute condo. Great location! Our only complaint was the sofas were worn out. Middle sank down to sit or lay on. Also there wasn’t a can opener in the condo. We really enjoyed our stay!

We saw dolphins!

The property was as expected,in the perfect location. Lots of places to walk to nearby The beach was beautiful. From the patio we watched dolphins play. Will stay again in the future.

Great space & great location

We had a group of 3 adult couples, stayed 4 nights. The location was fantastic and there was plenty of room in the condo for all of us. My only complaints are that it was a little uncomfortable watching tv in the living room on one of the couches; we had to turn our heads to the left to see. Not a huge deal. The other negative was that the dishes were put away dirty. This was a pretty big deal for my family full of germaphobes. I feel like this falls more on the previous guests than anyone else though. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again myself.

Nice family home away from home

I love this house and the setup it has, the pool is open late and the beach entrance is steps away. The only thing I don’t like is the parking fee.

Great place

A little smaller than it appeared but handled all eight of us perfectly fine. Usually there are umbrellas and chairs already in condo for guest use so we had to buy those, we left them for the next guests to enjoy. The wagon that was there was an awesome touch, made it easy to bring stuff back and forth to the beach. Overall it was a wonderful place and a very short walk to Hangout and Pink Pony. We highly recommend for a family.

End of hall unit

The property is the last room in the top floor. Stairwell and garbage chute are right outside. The condo location is perfect for walking to most places. Only downfall to being in that unit is you hear everything in the hallway and stairwell. Pictures make it look larger than it is. Still plenty of space and nice but not a large as it appeared in the photos.

I would book again

This was a great vacation for my family. We had 10 people, plenty of space and everything was great. We brought an air bed, knowing that all pull out couches suck, and everyone was happy. So easy to come and go from the condo to the beach to the pool. The beach was very nice, white sand, clear water, no problems at all. I would book it again.
