Villa Nena Rubio is designed for you to disconnect, relax and be one with nature. From our rooftop pool terrace observe the Pacific Ocean as you enjoy your meals, have great conversations with family and/or friends. Delight in watching the pelicans, birds, surfers and fisherman - get away from the business of life. Take your shoes off and walk in the sand, surf, swim and "live in the now". We have been in Huatulco for 16 years and this is our favorite destination. The 36 beaches, 9 bays and the people of Huatulco are Most Extraordinary! Enjoy the entire home 5,500 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 7.5 baths home, with a rooftop pool and entertainment area, with breathtaking views. The sliding doors and windows allow the ocean breezes and sounds to come to you. New STARLINK INTERNET W/2 Sets of Mesh Boosters for you to enjoy your time while you work or upload your photographs to your social media.

We are fully air conditioned, and we also have a fully equipped kitchen, with granite countertops and Huanacaxtle wood cabinetry for your use. This makes for the perfect family/friends/solo getaway vacation spot in the tranquil community setting of La Bocana Beach.

Villa La Nena Rubio is also a disabled friendly home, with an entrance ramp.

Services included:
Beds and bathrooms serviced. Monday-Friday 8-4pm Saturday 8-2pm. (Days of rest: Sundays and Holidays)

TVs in all bedrooms, living room and TV room
Crib and high chair for a child

“Service tip” to staff, not included. Usual and customary tip is USD5.00/night/person/Guest.
"Staff Rest Days" are Sundays; and Holidays, which are as follows:

Shopper charges $300 pesos/hour, plus $150 pesos taxi each way. NOTE: We do not shop/cook for a reservation if anyone in the party suffers from a food allergy.

Note: The home has regularly scheduled maintenance, such as: pool , gas tank, gas equipment, etc. Access to the home for scheduled maintenance/emergency repair professionals, is mandatory. Upon Reserving, Guest is agreeing to grant access to regularly scheduled maintenance or emergency repairs.

Great location literally 30 ft to the beach! Beautiful building and spacious rooms. Rooftop pool was great with beautiful views of ocean. Highly recommend getting chef services a couple nights from Jane Bauer and going to her cooking school as well. Only negative was neighbor a couple doors down had 3 or 4 dogs that would bark at anything, at anytime to night, which was annoying.

Amazing place

This property was amazing! The host, staff, location and everything was superior! I will be telling everyone I know about it. It’s perfect with the pool on the rooftop. ( it also is much bigger than the pictures appear) the ocean is steps away. Restaurant next door, across the street and down the road. Everything was amazing

Great reunion spot

Went with my family of 11 for a reunion. There is so much square footage that you don't feel crammed, even with that many.Sara and Paula cooked breakfast and lunch for us during the week. They were both great cooks and we just told them to make whatever they wanted too. Not disappointed at all. This was very inexpensive for a group our size.The house is very clean. The manager Ana Paula was very responsive and helpful.We would go back for sure.

What an incredible home!

The home is like a 5 star hotel. But better. It has all the little personal touches that one should have in a home, and Ana is quite proud of her piece of paradise. Great finishes and fixtures.The area is quite after dark, excepting a few dogs here and there. All the beach tourists leave by dark ish.Ana offered to have Sara cook for us for a nominal fee. I was a bit skeptical, but really happy with the choice. She made us breakfast and late lunch everyday, and she even let us hover close enough to learn how to make a few dishes. Awesome.We did eat at a newer restaurant around the corner. Cute little family run operation with great shrimp tacos... and cheap. Dona Duvi.The stairs seemed a bit daunting to start... but with Saras cooking, it was a good way to burn some calories...lol. There is an elevator, which worked great for getting heavy bags to the 3rd floor.Smart TV in the master was great for the late night time.Pool was awesome. The upper deck has been really been improved from some of the VRBO pics. It now has a great pergola, and enough shade to stay up there all day regardless of temps. Nothing to improve there...Communication with Ana was top notch. She sent a ton of info on the areas attractions and restaurants etc.Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A Family Fiesta

It's hard to believe that such a big house can feel so cozy. I think that being split up into 4 floors makes the difference. 2 good restaurants next door and the cooks were well worth the extra money. We had a wonderful time and will probably come back.

Two Weeks in Paradise

The property is excellent. Gabby did a great job. Sarah also did a great job. Our great grand daughter learned to swim in the pool. We had a taxi driver named Leo who was an excellent guide and driver. We went to many excellent beaches. The local restaurants and the hotel up the street were all very good. Villa Rena Rubio is fantastic.

Perfect family trip

Absolutely stunning property overlookingthe beach. Appearance as pictures suggest but also larger than I expected. Rooftop patio with pool and unobstructed views of the ocean. The beach is quiet (even during Easter!) The kitchen is modern. We took the kitchen helper Sara and Paulina which was the icing on the cake making for truly relaxing vacation for our extended family of 8. Highly recommended. Extremely good value.

Wonderful villa

Everything was perfect. The beds super comfortable. The towels soft white. Bedrooms have wonderful views. Staff are all friendly & helpful. My family & I all enjoyed the swimming pool & lounge area on the rooftop. The local beach restaurant served great food & drinks. I loved to watch the morning sunrise everyday. Host Ana was helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

La Bocana is very beautiful. We loved the rustic feel it had but the home was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the cleaning ladies and pool guy. They were very polite and helpful. The house is honestly speechless on how beautiful it is and its view!!! The only thing was there were some neighbour dogs that endlessly barked some early mornings but the view and the place made up for it. The owner of the property was super helpful and answered my questions in a very timely matter. I hope we will come back to stay again soon.

Beautiful home on secluded beach

My husband and I (along with 3 other couples) stayed at this amazing house for 7 nights. All of the rooms were perfect for multiple couples traveling together. We had plenty of privacy and everyone had their own private bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and the entire house is very clean. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Sara (the housekeeper) is very sweet and worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Ana is VERY good at communicating and offering advise on everything from restaurants to transportation and activities. We had our hot water go out due to high winds and she had it fixed within hours! The upstairs deck and pool area are fantastic in this house. We spent most of our days there. The beach in front of the house is very beautiful and quiet. We were surprised that there are still beaches in Mexico that are not over crowded. There is not much for night life in this area. There are a few good restaurants but no shops or stores. You need to take taxi's or vans into the main town to find more action. We did this several nights of our stay. The transportation is easy and inexpensive so it's not a big deal. Overall, I would highly recommend this property on your next visit to Huatulco!

Wish I was still there!!

This is an awesome property to rent: not just the house and location; but most of all was the convenience of check in ( thank you Gaby, she was also immediately available for a couple of very minor issues we had); Sara ( house attendant) was absolutely fantastic!! She truly takes pride in her work, and the cleanliness of the property!! She also can whip up an awesome ceviche!!! Sara also came to work everyday with her beautiful smile!!! Again: location-5 star /property-5 star/cleanliness-5 star +, Sara, Gaby, and Ana definitely 5 star!!! Can’t wait to go back!! Oh and I must mention Berto (pool cleaner) great character and he taught us some new words every time he was there and made sure we pronounced them properly!! Great guy!!

Beautiful Stay at Villa La Nena Rubio

My extended family and I had a fantastic, two week stay at Villa La Nena Rubio. This is a beautiful property with massive views of La Bocana beach. The kids bedroom is small, but we only had to use it when some flights home were cancelled. The five additional bedrooms are large and each has fantastic views. The rooftop deck and pool just added to the feeling of being in paradise. Sara kept the home in immaculate condition and is very warm and friendly. We really enjoyed seeing her everyday. Gaby, the property manager, was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Unfortunately, two of my adult children were sick with high fevers and Gaby was able to get a trusted doctor who spoke English to come to the house and help them. Everyone recovered quickly and was able to enjoy the rest of the vacation. Ana, the property owner was also very helpful and able to respond to any needs or questions we had. My family has been to Huatulco many times and have stayed in hotels, villas, all inclusives, and condos. Each has their own advantages. We generally do not like to stay in the all-inclusive resorts in Huatulco because we love to go to the different beaches and restaurants in the area. La Bocana is different from other areas of Huatulco in that it is not as developed or crowded. Quiet evenings, uncrowded beaches, beautiful views and all of the wonderful things to do in Huatulco a few minutes away. Thank you, Sara, Ana, and Gaby for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful villa with picturesque views

Well appointed home with everything you need for a fantastic week of sun, sand, surf and lounging poolside. Ana Paula’s communication was excellent! Gaby was super helpful for us arranging taxis and making reservations. Sara kept the house spotless. She also makes a super delicious guacamole and her breakfasts yummy too! I would recommend this beautiful oasis! 😎🌴🏖️☀️

Great place, great location

This house is amazing! Rooms are enormous, beds are awesome and comfortable. You can lay in bed and watch the waves crashing. The roof top pool was a nice treat. I could not have been more pleased.

Vacation of a lifetime!!

What a fantastic and beautiful home for our group of 11 family and friends to gather in La Bocana! The bedrooms are all like master suites with views of the beach and sounds of the ocean surf. Ana and Gaby were immediately available for every question and recommendation we asked about and helped facilitate tours and transportation and wonderful chef prepared meals! The community of neighbors and businesses in La Bocana were warm and welcoming! The sunrises were amazing as well as relaxing for hours around the rooftop pool. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous house overlooking the beautiful beach

Wow! Our family and friend group of 9 parents and adult children so enjoyed our week at this home where every detail was designed for our relaxation, comfort and enjoyment. Ana was so quick and helpful to respond to our questions and in steering us to the correct pharmacy for our required COVID testing before leaving to return to the US. Gaby was so attentive to making our stay special even cooking our seafood dinner one evening including local specialties. Sara and Gude cleaned the entire home daily and prepared a delicious breakfast and coffee for us. We spent many hours on the rooftop in the pool overlooking the bay and slept so comfortably in the beds listening to the ocean waves. The house is 20 minutes to the town but taxis were very accessible and affordable. We always looked forward to returning to our comfortable home in the small La Bocana Bay. We loved meeting the local fishermen, surfers, eating in the beachfront restaurants and having poolside massages Highly recommend this retreat-like house and look forward to returning soon.

Incredible house and location.

It exceeded our expectations. Ana and Gaby were very welcoming and attentive. They feel like new friends. It is a beautiful place and we will be back. Thanks for sharing your amazing house.

Amazing Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at La Bocana Beach. Ana, the owner, was always quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our stay. The staff at the house were all great and the house and location were perfect. Our whole family had a great stay.

I love the peacefulness of this magical place. Hearing the wind move the leaves of the palmtrees, the sounds of the Pacific Ocean waves and the walks along the beach to watch both sunrise and sunset, make Villa La Nena Rubio's location exceptional. The views from the 5 of the bedrooms, livingroom, pool roof top are most extraordinary. I feel comfortable in every room. The home is warm, comfortable, functional and cozy.
