Hard to find a place with air conditioning and an elevator. Beautiful shared rooftop patio. Host was great to work with and place was as expected

Decent stay PROS:- Decent value for the great location and good size- Easy check in, friendly host met up to hand off keys in personCONS:- Very uncomfortable bed: lumpy mattress, loud squeaky springs that you could feel- Not dirty per se but not well kept -- dishes in the cupboard were not cleaned properly, the only paper towels available were old and yellowed, drawers were falling out- Strange that the windows looked out into the building -- gave a bit of a claustrophobic, enclosed feeling

wonderful location

Wonderful location, perfect neighborhood. The apartment itself was functional, but quite dated. For the price and location, it's hard to beat, but the beds really sucked. I'm not sure why the landlord wouldn't invest a couple of bucks in decent beds. Loved the neighborhood. Barcelona is an extraordinary city.

Very close to Sagrada Familia

Although the apartment was small, it worked for the two of us. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It is within walking distance to La Sagrada Familia where you can pick up a tour bus to see the rest of the city. Don’t forget to go to the rooftop to see La Sagrada, especially at night!

Excellent location. 2 blocks from Sagrada familia metro. Place was clean. All appliances worked. Nice having a washer/dryer combo for laundry. Terrace on the same floor as condo has additional clothes line and a great view of Sagrada Familia church. Apt is on top floor, has elevator. Within a block you have bakery, supermarket, pharmacy and a ton of restaurants. Apt manager was very nice and very responsive. The AC was leaking from a clogged hose and the repairman came next day. Would stay again

Location, location, location

This apartment is perfect for its location, 2 blocks from the Sagrada Familia. The apartment was spotless except for the bathroom. Two facts to mention: 1) only beds in the room are 30 inch twin beds - not the usual 39 inches as in North America: very narrow for an adult. Better know in advance. 2) hot water is gas-heated on request so you shower hot-cold-hot-cold... Also, only way to have hot water in the bathroom sink is to turn-on the hot water in the kitchen. But, would return for location

Great location and attractive space

The apartment is small but well organized and equipped. It is very quiet. Very close to Familia Sagrada and its Metro station. Although we had exchanged emails with the host 30 minutes before our projected arrival, no one was there to meet us. A helpful tenant called the host's number - no answer. On a later try a woman answered and promised help. We waited 45 minutes before Natalia arrived. Fortunately inside thanks to the nice tenant. The hot water can go abruptly from hot to cold in the shower.

In order to allow a smooth check-in, it is important that guests call or write a few days before arrival to arrange approximate arrival time, so that the keyholder can ensure the necessary preparations. As the keyholder ensures to leave all necessary contact numbers and instructions upon check-in, regulation of water temperature can always be reported directly for some on the spot solution. Great location/uncomfortable stay

Things that made us dislike the property: Bed was uncomfortable. Felt every spring in the mattress. Overwhelming smoke smell. We had to purchase air freshener to make it tolerable. After the water heater was repaired, we were only able to get hot water for 30 seconds at a time. There were small ants in the kitchen on day 2 and every day after that. Roof terrace access was implied in the advertisement, but denied upon check in. Things we liked about the property: Location was great. Property was clean.

Hello Brandi, Thank you for the feedback. These points raised are best reported on the spot to the keyholder so that guests receive a solution that will make the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The mattresses are reviewed at the end of every season, and so far, has been ok. The local staff will check again. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment, therefore this needs to be addressed on the spot, for the keyholder to get to the source. The hot water boiler will be monitored with the following guest if it still persists. Ants were not there after cleaning prior to check in, therefore it is possible that they detect left over food or food that was not put away. ROOM: Location great. Good wifi but dim lighting. Small shower with sideways entry and exit. Two single beds not a double fit tightly into bedroom. Lighting is dim. Thankfully, Interhome did clean the shower after some complaining and replaced two tired old mattresses with firm new ones. INTERHOME (owner) Sent messages in German and I had to request English via email. Didn't respond to Expedia or WhatsApp messaging. After paying the advertised price (Expedia said I was fully paid) I was told by Interhome (and VRBO) to pay additional 11% (taxes?) before I got keys. Checked out over a week ago and no sign of security deposit. Still can't figure out the invoices they sent me. EXPEDIA: I should never have to give my payment details to a third party (Interhome or VRBO). That's why I use Expedia in the first place!

Fantastische ligging

Het appartement is fantastisch gelegen op nog geen 5 minuten wandelen van de Sagrada Familia. Het gemeenschappelijke dakterras is heerlijk om 's morgens een koffie te drinken. Helaas werkte de douchekraan niet goed en de wasmachine is ook een uitdaging om te gebruiken. De eigenaar was wel heel correct met hulp aan te bieden en bereikbaar via Whatsapp. Een echte aanrader voor een bezoek aan Barcelona met een hele stille airco

Bonne location avec la clim. Il faut revoir la description de la location car le balcon avec vue sur la Sagrada familia n'est pas dans l'appartement et l'on y accède depuis une autre porte du palier. La propreté était correct mais il faut OBLIGATOIREMENT revoir la literie qui est inconfortable vraiment! Je ne suis pas sensible à ces choses la mais au bout de 2 nuits nous avons eu d'importants mal de dos.

Bien situé

Petit appartement sympa pour deux personnes. Très propre, dans une rue calme à proximité de la Sagrada. Mais quand l'ascenseur ne fonctionne plus (comme ce fut le cas dès le second jour) il y a 119 marches à monter... Donc réservé aux jeunes sportifs et pas au couple de 75 ans comme nous !
