OLA LIVING MACBA 2

Located in the city centre, our two-bedroom apartment has a double room and a single room. It also has two full bathrooms and air conditioning in all rooms. There is a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen that allows our guests to prepare their own meals. It is the perfect place for a group of friends or a family looking to stay in a bustling area of the city.



The apartment has a washer-dryer as well as Wi-Fi internet connection and air conditioning. It is located in the centre of Barcelona, very close to La Rambla and the Sant Antoni neighbourhood.



The apartment is provided with towels and bed linen upon arrival.



No parties or stag/hen dos are allowed.



The Tourist Tax is not included in the apartment price. The rate in force at the time of the stay will be applied, per adult and per night, up to a maximum of seven nights.



Our Reception is located at number 1 Passatge Sert, where you must collect your key between 9:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Friday (except holidays from Monday to Friday). If your arrival is on Saturday or Sunday (or a holiday during the week), key collection is at Aribau Street 228. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 20:00. Mobile self check-in from 15:00.



Entries from 21:00h onwards are made in person at the apartments and have an extra cost of £30.

Great Gothic quarter stay for our first time in Barcelona. Two baths were great, offset the fact that the showers were very small. Extremely comfortable living quarters and primary bedroom. Very good communication with host and overall an amazing stay!

Very comfortable bed, quiet place and very enjoyable. Would give 5 stars, but the showers are very, very small. You must be a very small person to fit in them. We rested well and very much enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend!

Spotless well equipped unit. Spacious, great furnishings, in a great location and in a great authentic Barcelona area. Walkable to the Barcelona Port area, Família Sagrada, cathedral and most sites. We had a great stay! Place was a nice home base for us during our visit. Wish we would have know what day the housekeeping service was going to happen so we could have known not to be there during that time.

Honest review — good to know before bookingThe apartment itself is acceptable, but there are several important things to consider before booking.The bathrooms are extremely small — uncomfortably so. The internet connection is very weak; we were unable to hold video calls, which was a real issue for remote work.The location is the biggest concern. The street is noisy, and the neighborhood feels unsafe and dirty. Uber access is a serious problem — drivers never came directly to the street, and we had to walk significant distances and wait 20 to 30 minutes for each ride. With ongoing construction nearby, getting around the area became even more difficult in every sense.Overall, the stay was manageable, but we’d recommend being fully aware of these limitations before deciding — especially if you rely on good internet or easy transportation.

Regarding the apartment itself, the layout, bathroom dimensions and general features are accurately reflected in the listing photos and description published before booking, allowing guests to review the accommodation characteristics in advance. Concerning the neighbourhood, MACBA is a very central and lively area of Barcelona, which naturally comes with typical city activity, traffic and urban noise, especially during daytime hours. At the same time, it is also one of the city’s most visited cultural areas. Regarding transportation access, temporary external construction works in the surrounding streets may occasionally affect vehicle circulation or pickup logistics. Unfortunately, these are municipal/public works completely outside of our control. We also appreciate your comments regarding the internet connection and will review this internally with our technical providers to ensure the service is functioning correctly. Perfect for us!

We had such a great time! The apartment was in a great location to see the city and eat at many restaurants. It was perfect for me, my wife and 16 year old daughter.

Very small older property with mold and rust in shower corners. El Raval is considered the ghetto of Barcelona and this is on the outer edges of it. The washer/dryer doesn’t dry. As you look down the street you will see laundry hanging everywhere. Toilets had problems flushing. My ATT iPhone had horrible reception in the alley and I was not able to enter the property via phone app (required). Thankfully my friend had an Android Verizon that had better reception. If you the management co. you get put on hold for about 5 min and we were outside in the rain trying to get in. Also cabs are not allowed to drive in the alley and we had 5 bags to drag out to the nearest street. We stayed 6 nights and tried to cancel the moment we arrived but were told we would lose entire amount. We ran into 3 other groups staying in the building who experienced similar problems. The elevator is so small it’s difficult to fit a large bag and a person so one of us walked up 30 steps to receive the luggage as the other person placed luggage in the elevator and sent it up. It took 3 trips in a very slow elevator. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the smaller bed is tiny. The TV w cable service was nice. It seems the entire apt. Bldg is owned and operated by a management company.

This location can't be beat, and the flat is well worth the price. The second bathroom is a nice bonus in a place this size.

Clean, Comfortable Apartment in Ideal Location

My husband and I stayed here while visiting our son who is studying in Barcelona. We have lived in Europe twice before and traveled extensively. This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Clean, comfortable bed and couch and great location.

Nice place to stay for a quick trip

Exactly what my mom and I needed in Barcelona for a short stay! Could have been cleaner and might choose a different location/neighborhood next time which is why one star is missing. But still a 4 star stay overall and we enjoyed our trip. Thanks!
