Newly renovated & redesigned, inside & out, for the discriminating traveler. You will love this fabulous, thoughtfully designed, & generously provisioned, North Park beauty. Exceptional attention to detail thru out. Living area boasts custom built-ins w/ work area, and flat screen. Dining area has custom seating, Sputnik chandelier, & overlooks outdoor Buddha fountain. All new custom kitchen will exceed your expectations, & is highlighted w/ an open lath & plaster feature wall. Kitchen French doors spill open to a private outdoor oasis with expansive deck, water fountain, & al fresco dining. 2 equitable bedrooms feature black out shades, mini split heat & air, ceiling fans, & all new designer furnishings. Walking distance to hip South Park, and North Park scenes. Downtown and Bay are a quick 10 minute Uber or Lyft ride away. Freeway close. Just a few minutes to San Diego's most famous attractions. Please make sure to read House Rules!!! If you require bedding for the sofa I need to know in advance!!! (Exterior cameras for your security - see Rooms & Spaces - Additional Info.)

Great stay!

Me and my partner lived staying here. It was a comfy place with a very nice and private back yard area. The location is great for walking to grab a bite, catching a ride to one of the many nearby attractions, or just staying in and ordering some good food!I would definitely stay again!

Cute place. It was very clean and had we been able to we might have checked in early. Very close to Balboa Park which was our main objective. Would stay there again!

Perfect Property

The house was perfect. It was ideally located to give us easy access to North Park, Balboa Park, Little Italy, and Coronado. Dean was helpful at every step, and we look forward to staying here again.

Retro, Artistic home in North Park

A beautifully decorated home with fun art and colorful touches. We loved the outdoor spaces for wine hour and the big blue sofa for relaxing after a busy day! We also loved grocery shopping at Barons market! We hope to be back soon!

Our group of four had a wonderful time in this beautiful house with all the amenities. A quiet and peaceful place in a charming neighborhood close to everything. And communication with the owner is very easy, helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Perfect stay at the Purple Panache

The bungalow is retro chic and comfy with interesting art and thoughtful touches that make you feel completely at home. Dean was a great host who made everything in the area easy to find and navigate. The home in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants, as well as the highway and nearby sites like Balboa Park. We loved staying there and would return again. The property is as good as the pictures show and other reviews indicate.

A quirky space!

We loved our stay in this retro decorated home! The kitchen was well stocked so we could make brunch and sit around at the dining table! We also loved the beds firmness and layout of the home. Dean was super communicative and helpful as well. Would highly recommend this space for groups of 4!

An Excellent Stay

Everything was great. The house is so cute, in a nice neighborhood for walking and a close drive to everything, too. Beds are super comfortable, kitchen with everything you need, easy communications with owner, fun ambiance. I would definitely stay here again if back in San Diego. I loved Santos Coffee within a 10 min walk and my daughter loved Saigon Coffee a short drive or maybe a 20 min walk away. I highly recommend!

Great location, beautiful yard and comfy home

Dean's home was clean, in good working condition and full of charm. The home was the perfect size for an extended stay for mostly myself and at times, one other person. Despite being on a busier street, no overnight noise. I enjoyed the walkability for groceries, coffee, restaurants and the proximity to the freeways for broader San Diego. Dean was super responsive to questions and one tiny issue and I'd love to stay here again. Thanks for a great visit!

San Diego Adventure

The property is charming, clean, and spacious. All the amenities were as mentioned, and the appointments were convenient and pleasing. Well located and near many points of interest. Our Host, Dean, was very helpful in accommodating our minimal needs. Since he lives close by, he was able to quickly address a minor issue about the bedroom lights. Altogether, a wonderful experience! We're hoping to visit this property again!

Exceptional place to hang out in San Diego.

The most stylish of properties in a fabulous location. This impressive home has everything you will need: the host was very welcoming allowing us early check in and lots of local tips. My other property is VRBO1551179, a North Park fountain courtyard studio with lots and lots of 5 star ratings - about 6 blocks from The Purple Panache.
