Gorgeous Marina front unit in the Bayside Villas complex on Captiva featuring panoramic marina and bay views, plush master quarters, well appointed living area, and a comprehensive kitchen. Fully renovated in 2024, you will be among the first guests to experience all of the beautiful upgrades that make this unit a comfortable, updated vacation destination!



The Space:

This villa is located on the second floor and boasts 850 square feet of optimized island living space. This villa can sleep a party of 4 with a brand-new king bed in the master bedroom and a brand-new queen pullout sofa in the living room. Both bathrooms feature a shower tub combination, ideal for those travelling with small children. The kitchen is outfitted with top of the line kitchenware and the unit comes with a variety of beach gear.



Guest Access:

Included in the rental of this unit is the use of the many amenities at the Bayside Villas complex, including a heated pool, spa, grill and cooking area, and a communal laundry room. The unit is located within a ten minute walk to downtown Captiva Village where one can enjoy great dining and shopping. Our repeat guests prefer staying with us over booking through the resort as you are GUARANTEED the unit you book online, what you see is what you get! Staying with us guarantees you a fantastic unit, access to pools and beaches just a few minutes from your room, first-class guest services, and far more economical pricing.

South Seas - Meh

We loved Captiva and the South Seas resort. Unfortunately this unit is lacking “pride of ownership”. There appears to be a remodel done recently but no care was given to the quality of the work. With the bed lacking a foundation and sitting under 2 ft from the floor and the lack of a blanket for the bed, we felt like we were in our son’s college apartment. If this is the only apartment available when you want to be in Captiva, go for it!

Needs some refreshing.

We’ve been to Captiva a few times and always enjoy the island. This Bayside condo has a nice location with a harbor view. Overall, the condo is tired and needs some TLC. The carpet is heavily stained, the bath towels were tattered and torn, the WIFI is non-existent, paint and trim is chipped iand the bathtubs both had a slow drain. Standing water in the bathtub for more than 12 hours after the last shower. We called maintenance and they fixed the tubs and delivered a WIFI hotspot but both of these things are not what I want to worry about while I’m on vacation. It wouldn’t take much to make this condo sparkle again!

Great location and view

The condo was just as described and we very much enjoyed our stay. The location and view were beautiful and we enjoyed the community pool and hot tub. The only negative was the carpet in the living room was stained and could use an update. Also, the sliding door was really hard to open/close. Outside of those two minor things, we were very happy with the unit.

Summer trip

This property is ok. Needs some updating. Lacking some pots and pans to cook with if you plan on staying a week and cooking. Location was convenient to beach and pool and quiet which we liked. Having bikes was good as if you want to explore the resort I would recommend bikes or renting a golf cart. Laundry room is in the building and not in condo and you have to pay per load. Water pressure not great and drain in hallway bathroom shower is slow. Property owner responded quicky to a couple issues we had.

The Marina View Residence was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable with include amenities. Only 2 negatives are the linens did not properly fit the fold out sofa bed and the wifi was spotty in the bedroom.

Excellent location and nice condo

This condo is very nice. We enjoyed our stay and the location is excellent!! Owner provides bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach cart which is a nice touch. I would stay there again.

Excellent stay! Convenient location.

The property was well kept and very clean. The location was great. I would just add that anyone traveling to Captiva for the first time should be warned to rent a golf cart. I know it’s not the properties responsibility but maybe an FYI for renters. Overall excellent time! We will be coming back!

Excellent Value

Compared to South Seas resort prices, we paid considerably less to stay at this property. We did not receive the resort amenities like preferred beach access and golf access, but we had no problem finding beach access. The unit was clean upon arrival and the few questions we had (like the combination lock code for the bikes) were answered promptly by the property manager. Overall, a very enjoyable getaway for my wife and I.
