App payment was clean, accessible and will placed. Across the street from 2 markets and host was clear on expectations. Only thing was the locking of the outside gate and door were a bit tedious but felt safe and was right near the metro

Great stay at Bastille - Place des Vosges Saint Sabin

We have stayed at similar properties in Paris before, but were the most pleasantly surprised at the quality and quaintness of the place. It is not large, but actually larger than we expected. It was very functionally laid out, with a decent bathroom and shower(two people could be in there at the same time), comfortable bed, and nicely equipped kitchen with a washing machine, which we used. We didn’t use the TV. The place was very clean, Fabrice was great to communicate with, and the location was such it was easy to get around. It was also quiet at night. Would highly recommend it.

The location was ideal near the Place de la Bastille. There are many Restaurants, Cafes and Boulangers etc in the area. The accommodation was compact but has everything you need for a comfortable stay, Kitchen, washing machine and nice bathroom, comfortable bed.

Good location but definitely some issues

This property has tried hard to provide guests with a lot of designer decor, some comfort and useful items, it has a tiny but nice bathroom. It is well located near two Metro stops and supermarkets and a great Sunday outdoor food market. For us that was where the good points ended. The property is below street level and has one window which if you open you’ll be breathing exhaust fumes. It is hot, stuffy and reliant on running a portable aircon unit and a fan constantly. The aircon unit is like having a jet engine in the room with you so expect constant noise. The one window needs to have the blinds constantly drawn in order to give you any privacy and to minimise the sun which hits the windows all afternoon. You live in a twilight zone. This property has been cleverly photographed to appear much much larger than it is. I’ve been in bigger hotel rooms and in the end the claustrophobia, poor ventilation and aircon noise meant we left early. For the price I’d look much harder in future for something better.
