This condo is a perfect place for your tropical island retreat. Just steps from the warm ocean water, it has the best view on Sapphire beach. Relax, enjoy, and feel like you are in paradise, away from everything! Just you, easterly breezes, turquoise water, stunning view of Pillsbury Sound, St. John, and the swimming pool. At night mesmerizing view of thousands of stars including the Milky Way!

Featuring a huge wrap-around terrace and an uninterrupted view from Atlantic to Caribbean over St. John and the British Virgin Islands, your condominium is a premier unit at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina, a gated community with 24-7 security. (Many guests who have visited and seen what Sapphire Beach has to offer have said this unit occupies Sapphire's best location.)

The condominium and balcony is an extra-large (1250 sq. ft.) fully air-conditioned studio that can be divided to create two sleeping areas by a sliding, louvered wood partition. The 'master' sleeping area presents a king-sized bed with a brand new Pillow-Top mattress providing exquisite sleeping comfort and, at the foot of the bed, a flat-screen HD, LCD cable TV.

The kitchen is sleek and modern, with a full-sized fridge, stove and microwave. The outside deck is a premier feature because it is so huge. It contains a dining area, a lounge area and, of course, the Heavenly Hammock pictured above.

Great location!!

The location of this property was perfect! Right on the beach, and really close to Red Hook, which was convenient because we took the ferry to St. John a couple of times. Only downside was that there’s a lot of seaweed floating around the Caribbean right now and it was washing up along the shore right in front of the property. There were workers out there each morning raking it into piles, but there’s just so much of if. But it was just a short walk down the beach to find a clearer spot.

Amazing vacation

Great location, very nice condo, super communication from host! The condo and resort was exactly as described. We loved that everything was right there. The condo had everything we needed and more! Tamuna was great, made sure we didn’t need anything during our stay. Even made sure we knew to get to the airport early and checked on us after we got home. We had an amazing time!

Spectacular Condo and Views

We had a wonderful time. The unit was clean, immaculately decorated and the views were spectacular. It was more beautiful in person. Check in and check out was a breeze and it was easy to communicate with the host. We will be back.

Like staying right over the ocean!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rental in St. Thomas overlooking Sapphire Beach! The unit was super clean and incredibly well-maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. The highlight was definitely the wraparound balcony/deck—it truly felt like we were staying right over the ocean, with the most breathtaking panoramic views. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee with that view was unforgettable.Tamuna was super communicative and easy to reach, and she went above and beyond by providing a TON of helpful information about activities, restaurants, and things to do on the island. It made our trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. We had everything we needed and more. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic escape in the U.S. Virgin Islands!

Fantastic Get-a-Way

Hammock in Heaven was a perfect place to stay after our tour of BVI. You will love the deck overlooking the beautiful bay along with great room accommodations for everything you may need. Also close to great restaurants on site and in Red Hook. Property manager was excellent. Highly recommend.

Beautiful

The view is to die for.....the view from the balcony is everything. The deck is huge with ample seating plus 2 rocking chairs and that amazing hammock. The place is very clean looks just like the pictures. Our host was wonderful she was very responsive and offered us some wonderful places to eat and do offsite. There are some places to eat onsite just a very short walk from the property. If you are looking for an awesome ocean view you should book this place.

Paradise

A beautiful condo on a beautiful beach with the most beautiful view. The host was readily available via app communication. Soap, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and snorkel available for use. The resort has multiple restaurants, a coffee shop and boutique for shopping. Will book again!

Great stay!

The condo was small but more than enough room for 2 people. Very clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. Nothing better than waking up to the ocean and laying in the hammock. Would 100% stay again

Absolutely perfect location

Perhaps one of the best locations to stay on the island. The scenery was absolutely beautiful with a complete view all of the islands in the surrounding area. There are so many activities right around the corner on the marina to choose from you don't really need leave the area. Also perfectly situated to travel to anywhere on the island but secluded with peace and quiet.

So peaceful!

Went for our 16th anniversary and everything was perfect. Location is on the far end of the island and a little quieter which was perfect. The condo was clean and well maintained. Short ride to red hook. Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Rental!

All you can ask for: recently/nicely renovated condo in great location with great amenities. Sapphire Beach itself is very nice, but also easy access to other beaches in St Thomas, Red Hook bars/restaurants and ferry to St John (all of which we took advantage of, even for a short stay). Easy check in/out. Host provided all the info we needed and was in regular communication. Highly recommend!

A whole vibe!!!

First off, shout out to the cleaning crew! This has to be the cleanest unit I have ever stayed in! Check in was a breeze, condo is even better in person! Let’s not forget the best part! THEE HAMMOCK!!! I think we took a nap on it everyday! Perfect location we barely used our rental car! 5 minutes away from our favorite beach Coki Point, but if you are having a lazy day Sapphire Beach is literally your backyard!!! Our host was beyond accommodating and checked in on us several times! I highly recommend this oasis!!!

A Slice of Heaven

Staying at Hammock in Heaven was pure delight. The condo was beautifully organized with plenty of storage space for our belongings. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a great meal. The view from the balcony was fantastic, especially if you’re up in time to see the sunrise. We’ve stayed on Sapphire Beach numerous times and love the proximity to Red Hook and the restaurant Tarpon’s Table, the snorkeling, the warm blue water and the coffee shop and bar on property. This unit had everything we needed and is highly recommended.

Island Paradise

Beautiful location on Sapphire Beach. Communication with the owner was excellent from beginning to end. The unit is well equipped with everything you will need and the location was what we believe are the best views on the island. The only hiccup was the cleaning crew that was running way behind and not very friendly when we dropped our bags in the room, but that did not tarnish our stay. Would highly recommend this unit and we will certainly be back again.

This studio is a gem! Clean and stocked with everything for a comfortable stay. Feet from the beautiful turquoise water with a hammock on the porch. It’s a short walk to the bar/restaurant/ coffee shop. The location is closer to the harbor and gets an amazing east wind. Never had to use the air conditioning. Love!

A Caribbean sunrise on a new year

If you're looking for a delightful place to get away with your honey boo boo, have I got the place for you! This season's hottest resort stay is called Hammock In Heaven - This place has everything: sunrises over a turquoise sea, a rope hammock to watch the day go by, and a palm tree proudly sprouting real coconuts. It even has sand pigeons - you know, when birds spend so much time in a beautiful place that they become known as Turtle Doves (seriously!) Whatever you do, don't forget to ask for Cruzan dark rum at the bar, because they are contracted with Bacardi and it is as flavorless as the Sony CEO's super yacht off the coast. In all seriousness, this place is literally picture perfect and you'd be missing out to pass it up.

Birthday Away Paradise

Host responded immediately to any questions and provided great information about the area. The view was absolutely amazing and would definitely stay here again. The only complaint I have is not in regard to the unit or host but the resort itself as they had a wedding booked with 250 people on a Saturday night and shut down the entire beach bar where none of the people who had booked and paid for a stay were allowed to go have drinks and utilize this area that was the one prime spot to go for drinks especially on a weekend night and were not given any notice until arriving back at the property to see a sign that said closed for a private event. This is something that should have been relayed to the resort guests so they could make other plans and not come back to resort to find this out and then pay for another round-trip taxi back out to Red Hook to be able to have a drink on a Saturday night.

Stunning Views

The description and pictures are accurate. This condo is feet away from the ocean on the 2nd floor. The sound of the waves is one of my favorite things to enjoy and this is perfect for that! The view is beyond amazing! We went to Magens Bay Beach and didn't stay long since we felt our beach (Saphire Beach) was better for many reasons. Very clean and had everything we needed. Nicely updated with a modern theme. We used the cooler to take lunch and drinks to the beach. There are chairs to take if you want, but there are free lounge chairs provided free at the beach. There is also snorkeling gear in the closet, which we used as this is a decent location to do some snorkeling right off the beach. We enjoyed watching the boats in the marina and the ferry going back and forth between St. John and Red Hook. Red Hook is only a few minutes away and has some shops and restaurants (parking is sparse most of the time, so consider using Taxi vs driving yourself). Don't miss Sudi's - the restaurant on the marina side of the resort. Be prepared for the cost of things on the island and don't forget to use bug spray (some was under the kitchen sink). We would definitely stay in this condo if we visit St. Thomas again.

Lots of deficiencies

First, let me say that the owner did a very nice job of renovating the kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area by adding custom cabinets. She also supplied many items that you would normally have to purchase, like tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries and beach items. However, when we arrived I saw a safe in the closet but found out it was inoperable. The 2 TVs were not working, which I contacted the host about several times. Finally, she had her resort manager supply new remote controllers, but that didn’t happen until day #4. The most significant complaint is that there was no hot water. Turn on the cold, and it comes out great. This was true in the 2 sinks and the shower. I contacted the owner many times about this and her response was “no one else complained about it”. Unfortunately, that didn’t help us and we went the entire 5 days with no hot water. There were other little things that needed attention as well; the toilet seat is falling off, as is the toilet paper holder from the wall. This was also brought to the owners attention. There seems to be ceiling damage from water, perhaps from the unit above? The ceiling cracks are obvious. The window valance over the bed is falling down on one side, and needs to be repaired. The ceiling track lights by the kitchen counter are falling off on one side. I won’t go on, but no TV and no hot water led to a poor rating in my book, even though the owner declared on many occasions that she always gets the highest ratings.

Perfection

This is my 4th time to St. Thomas and staying in Sapphire Beach Condos. Our first time in this unit. This place is exactly as pictured in the posted photos. It is immaculate. Everything is brand new and nice quality. The patio is perfectly situated right over the water. This particular unit is right next to the marina, which I love walking. It is also the closest walk to the pool without having to overlook the pool. (The pool by the way is incredible at this property. I could do an entire review on it and it’s situation on the water and views). The unit sits on the side of the property overlooking the beach that’s for snorkeling. The coral is on this side and the white sand beach is on the other side of the pool. Both are beautiful, but the units on this side are MUCH closer to the water. Why does this matter? Well, it sounds better, the view is better and you can just really look down into the clear blue water. The beach side, while pretty, is not always the easiest to see the water AS WELL as this because there is a long stretch of beautiful white sand between the unit and water. So, I love this side the most. The property manager was very easy to reach for the silly things I reached out about. And they were patient with me on my questions. There are beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear (now floats that we left), every imaginable thing you can think of to use. This in a corner unit, so you get extra windows and a wrap around deck. What I love about the wrap around deck is that part is not covered and they have a hammock set up so you can lay on it and watch the stars at night. We saw several shooting stars. You can’t beat this end of the island. Sapphire Beach is the PERFECT location. You are just a couple minutes, if that, to Red Hook. A few minutes to many other beaches and restaurants on this side of the island. Oh, and there is a great beach bar/restaurant right there at the condos if you don’t want to leave. We will be booking this unit again. I suggest you try it. It’s a very nice place that you’re to fall in love with and subsequently leave too long of a review, like I just did. Ha

Excellent

My wife and I enjoyed everything about our stay. The host was very responsive throughout the entire process. The room had everything that we could want; including a priceless view. The property was super convenient with instant beach access, coffee shop and three places to eat to choose from. This will be our go-to place on St. Thomas from now on.
