Superb View

We had a wonderful stay! The view from the apartment is absolutely breathtaking – you can see the entire Lauterbrunnen Valley right from the window. It's located a short walk from the station, though the uphill climb can be a bit tiring. A pick-up and drop-off service during check-in and check-out would be a great addition. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay and highly recommended!

Nice view

Good view! Beds comfortable, however pillows flat and thin like paper. Wi-Fi worked for one day, then it didn’t work. quite a walk from train station, with uphills. You basically have to clean the apt yourself before departing, they ask guest to sweep the floor, get sheets off bed, take trash out.etc. Pick up and drop off key is it easy, you have to first locate the office and they don’t give clear instructions, and they work only from 4-6pm in office.

The price is very affordable but there’s also lots of mold in the property, we also encountered lots of bugs. I killed at least 15 crawling bugs throughout the unit during our week stay. It wasn’t apparent to me that this was actually a basement unit. It smelled like dirty water or mold so we actually had to get air fresheners to make it somewhat comfortable. You have to walk down stairs to get to the unit. The walk from the train to the actual unit is kind of far and hilly. The price was good though.

Wonderful views

Nice location, amazing views frin the best part of Wengen. Configuration of furniture a bit odd, could do with a rethink with a standard double bed in the bedroom, and a large sofa bed in the lounge. But overall satisfied with the out of season stay in this apartment.

Great view !

Apartment Hella in Chalet Helene gave us a good base in Wengen at a very quiet time of year (late November). The view is outstanding, the apartment was spotless, and my only comments relate to the lack of a lounge area. I would have thought the beds in the current lounge could be replaced with a large sofa bed, so the area could be dual purpose. And the single 90cm bed in the bedroom could be replaced with a standard 135cm double bed to make a better bedroom. Thank you to the Interhome team

Our home away from home

We have been coming to this chalet for over 20 years, but have been stay in the apartment next door to “Hella”. The view and location are fantastic, but we were surprised by how worn the kitchen was. Also there was black mold in the bath/shower, however, since the apartment is partially below ground it’s not too surprising. Otherwise the apartment is clean. Beds are comfortable. Wifi a bit spotty in certain parts of the apartment. We have always loved this chalet and the village of Wengen.

Fine appartment for a nice stay with my kids. The village and its surroundings are incredibly beautiful. The apartment itself is spacious, and has everything you need. It was a little damp and the kitchen was a little outdated, but for this price it is a really good accommodation in the Swiss alps!

Beautiful view. Very clean apartment.

We are in the 80s and the distance from the train to the apartment is about 3/4 Of a mail. We are physically fit so it took it all in stride. This is an excellent apartment. It also a great value.

This apartment was great for 3 people. The view from the windows are so beautiful. My son insists that when he returns to Switzerland he will only stay in Wengen and will choose this place again.

Very good

Good location. Looked far, but there is not much of a uphill or downhill walk which makes it much easier. View from apartment is beautiful. Apartment itself has a warm decor, and is also clean, spacious with the kitchen pretty well stocked. Wifi worked, but was a little weak. I used my own data plan instead. Pillows are pretty soft for my liking, but pretty much the norm in Europe I think. Some improvements could be providing tissues and a non stick frying pan.

Quiet and confy

It was a quiet location, exactly what I wanted. Nice view over Lauterbrunnen valey. It's a bit far from the center of Wengen, but quietness and center don't match. It takes aprox 10 min from the railway station. It had everything we needed. A balcony would have been nice, but it's at ground level, so no balcony posible.

Bedden en voorzieningen zijn goed. Helaas was het terras overwoekerd met planten en was er geen enkele uitleg over het feit dat er ook een wasmachine was en ook tuinstoelen. Helaas vonden wijndeze zelf maar te laat. Bij aanklmst hing er een formulier dat honden niet waren toegestaan maar op de website staat dat dit wel mogelijk is. Verder is er geen zithoek, alleen een keukentafel en wat losse stoelen

Ausreichendes Appartement mit SuperBlick

Wir waren zwei Freundinnen und haben es genossen, getrennt schlafen zu können. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend groß. Der Blick aus dem Fenster war genial. Leider gab es keine Sitzmöglichkeit außerhalb der Wohnung. Die Dunstabzugshaube in der Küche und der Abzug im Badezimmer funktionierten nicht. Ebenso der eine HDMI-Eingangskanal. Wir haben darumherum hantiert. Es gab ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten innerhalb der Wohnung. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Nothi ng negative to report about this basement flat... except the tiater.! The view from studio windows down the valley unparalleled. The uphill hike into town short but invigorating. Very, very peaceful. Several hikes start from the doorstep

Fijn appartement in prachtige omgeving

Heerlijk appartement in Wengen van waar je de meest fantastische trips kunt maken op allerlei manieren. Het is gesitueerd in de Jungfrau regio waar de omgeving gedomineerd wordt door de Eiger Mönch en Jungfrau. Prachtig !!!

Fantastic view and everything you need

What a view from both bedrooms! The apartment is just far enough away from town that you don't see the multitude of tour groups yet close enough to the trams, trains and amenities. The apartment was extremely clean and supplies were plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

3-5 stars, amazing place but some negatives too...

First off, the staff is amazing. Very friendly and helpful! Also, the apartment is really lovely, and absolutely worth 5 stars. Simple, airy, and an incredible view with the sound of waterfalls coming through the window. The beds are cozy, and the kitchen efficient. What I didn't love and possibly missed in the description was how the kitchen was not stocked even minimally. No salt, no coffee/tea, and while there are many candles for fondue there were no matches, etc. I've stayed in many rentals but this is the first that didn't have salt and pepper, coffee/ tea, and the basics. You also need to provide laundry detergent. As for my other dislikes, they are likely due to being a solo traveler with two small children and may not be a bother to another at all...but I don't want to waste time cleaning and vacuuming and stripping the bed sheets. Obviously have respect to not leave it messy, but stripping the beds and vacuuming is a bit much, as is emptying the garbages (Which are quite a ways outside) and the recycling (all the way by the train station) is not something I want to worry about when trying to get myself and two kids out the door in time, and nearly impossible with an early check out time (check out time is 10AM). Again, I loved staying here outside of the above issues :)
