The Last Resort is the perfect escape. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront condo has a private screened-in porch and balcony is located in Island Beach & Racquet Club. This property boasts many great amenities including 3 swimming pools, tennis courts, gym, and a private beach access. A Dollar General and restaurants are all with in walking distance in case you forgot something or just want to grab dinner and enjoy the views one evening after a day of fun in the sun!

Island Beach & Racquet Club is a family friendly community. The Last Resort is within walking distance to Dollar General, several restaurants, and a convenience store. You can also take an evening stroll to Dairy Queen.

Nice location

This was our first visit to Atlantic Beach, and we definitely plan to return. Our stay was wonderful. The hosts were very helpful and responded promptly to any questions. While parking on the ocean side is a bit tight, there’s additional parking available across the street on the sound side. The location was perfect, right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Love the location!

We loved the location and the view from the balcony. This was an ideal condo for us and we really enjoyed the beach and pool! It was our first time in Atlantic beach and we hope to return again!

Lovely property!

Enjoyed the screen porch…love the sound of the waves. Wish the view had been more open to the ocean but, still very nice. Quiet complex. Bed was comfortable.

really great location

The house overall was very nice and the beach access and views can't be beat. We did have a mishap with the house because there was some new updates that caused a flooring issue that ended up causing trouble for my toddler son and our trip. I believe this was a one time thing, and the property managers did fix it while we were there and were prompt to respond, although it was a pretty big disappointment in an otherwise excellent house.

Bright lights at night

The tvs never worked, I unsuccessfully reached out to the owner. The property is old and in need of upgrading. I was unable to sit on the balcony which overlooks the pool with Bright spotlights shining into the condo all night.

Much needed beach therapy

This is the second time my niece and I have stayed at the Last Resort. This is an amazing property. There’s just a small walk to the beach. The pool is wonderful. We love that there’s an elevator & luggage carts to make the move in & out process simple. The condo is cute & comfortable. There’s everything you need for a nice stay. It’s located close to great restaurants & shopping. We arrived with Hurricane Helene, but she passed quickly and the rest of the weekend was just perfect. Sunny, warm and breezy. I can’t say enough great things about this property & I’ll gladly stay again & again. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Week of the 4th

We stayed here last year as well, Jason had updated the appliances since last year. It was a nice surprise since there was nothing wrong with the previous ones :-). Really enjoyed our stay Jason was always ready to communicate and our vacation went off without a hitch. It's a beautiful location with a view of the ocean and a swimming pool right outside. We will definitely stay again.

Couldn’t be better!

We realized we had stayed in this unit on our first trip to Atlantic Beach 6 years ago and it is even better with some nice updates. The view, the furnishings and overall layout are perfect. Kitchen is fully equipped and fridge has filtered water and ice in the door. Comfortable bed, everything clean and fresh. This is our fourth trip to AB and we only stay at Island Beach Racquet club building B as we like it so much with easy access to beach, nice pavilion to relax and enjoy view and breezes. Location is great for stores, restaurants and activities - Morehead City and Beaufort are a quick ride. We are in the process of booking this unit for next year we like it so much. Hosts are terrific also!

Great location washer and dryer were very handy and worked …great decor ..bathrooms could use a refresh..had a few issues but great response with owner ..porch furniture was good and beach chairs were great …king in master would be nice .. water in frig just a few would be nice dollar general across the street but a few more basics toilet paper and trash bags not just 2 rolls of TP and 1 trash bag ..air conditioner air flow to second bedroom is poor could use a larger floor fan

I am an eastern NC native who has vacationed on the Crystal Coast all my life. My husband is a Tennessee native who has called NC home for over 20 years. We love Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach. We co-own the two condos at Island Beach & Racquet Club with our friends, Brandon and Heather Sherron.
