Easy access from NY/Phil Rt.80. **Avoid the Pocono Bustle and Traffic, w/ Safe Small Town Living & Farm Fresh Markets. Enjoy the large Lakeview deck with a grill & heater, as well as the covered front porch for morning coffee/tea time. Inquire about our Animal Tours, Stream Pool Playtime, and Summer Nature Exploration for children. *Autumn apple, pumpkin U-pick, and Corn Mazes are starting soon. Learn about Chicken, Bunny and Duck care; feed, pet, and hold animals. Reserve Local Alpaca & Wolf preserve tours locally. Enjoy music, Grape Stomping, @ local wineries. Or just Stretch out and explore the open space and nature trails here. Watch deer and bunnies grazing, Blue Heron & other seasonal waterfowl. Land of Make Believe Water/Amusement close by in summer. **No Saturday check-in/out. **Minimum 3 days on Holidays. **Inquire about Week's discount 5+ nights. Beautiful NJ Property

Had a wonderful stay here in Blairstown! Even after a big snowstorm, we had no trouble getting to the property, and had a lovely time exploring the snow covered landscape during our extended weekend stay (and had fun imagining how beautiful it must be in the Spring and Fall). Lots of places to visit in the area for both indoors-y and outdoors-y types, plenty of amenities on the property and the surrounding area, and all the creature comforts you need in this cozy space.

Nice little relaxing farm house

This house is a perfect little spot to stay with your family and its dog friendly! We were in the area for a wedding and needed somewhere to stay for a few days and this place was nice and close to 80 so it was easy on and off for travel. Host was very helpful with providing a baby gate and was willing to help out in any way possible.

The perfect little getaway

The cutest little cottage with a gorgeous lake view. The host was so nice and attentive, greeting us with fresh eggs! Caught glimpses of her animals and even got to pet one of her chickens. Took advantage of one of the recommendations and visited the Alpaca farm, about a 10 minute drive from the cottage. Definitely worth it! The cottage is as described in the listing. Had everything we needed and the heat lamp on the deck was a huge plus for when it got a little too chilly at night. 100% would stay again. :)

We enjoy hosting guests on the farm. My daughter and I offer farm tours of with chickens, bunnies and ducks, VermiCulture, and playtime @ the cool stream pools for children and lawn games. Inquire about Animal Tracking, Scavenger Hunts, Nature/Lake exploration, and other seasonal workshops for the children.
I have been an Artist and Yoga Instructor for many years and more recently have been studying Somatic Therapy; I also enjoy studying ancient healing practices, Ayurvedic and herbal medicine.

Our 80 Acre farm is easy to access from NYC, Philadelphia, and other metropolitan areas. Immerse yourself in feeling of country life, with the beautiful views, a spring-fed lake, trails, and streams throughout the property. You may spot Wild Turkey during your stay, Deer grazing in the evenings, the Resident Blue Heron, other Water Fowl, Rabbits, Frogs, Salamanders, turtles, etc. We offer animal tours, and outdoor games with children on the lawn; Each season brings different highlights. There are local small farmer's markets, local grass-fed meat farm farms, as well as Acme and lots of restaurants just close by.
