This was a very good place to stay for the week. Though I certainly understand that the work must have had to be done, it wasn’t pleasant having to listen to repair work being done outside on the building beginning as early as 9 am. It was nice that folding chairs were available to use at the beach, but the low-style chairs made specifically for the beach would have been much better than the high-sitting camp-style chairs which were provided. I had relatives staying in 3 other units and they all had the low beach chairs.

Location, Location!

The unit is perfect for hanging out at Sapphire Beach (best beach on the island). 44 steps to ‘our tree’ where we set up our chairs every day. I spent days in the water snorkeling right off the beach while the rest of the party read and relaxed. My mother, aunt and I spent a wonderful 2 weeks and look forward to the next visit!!

This was the best Condo to rent on Saphire Beach. You don’t have far to go for the Restaurant and bar and beach lounge chair rental. And you’re right on the beach with a great view of Saphire Bay. And if you like Volleyball you’re right by the court.

Spring Break 2025

This is a great location. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics needed. The bed was very comfortable. One down side was our 17 year old was on the sofa which I would not recommend for comfort. We made it work. There were camp chair and coolers that made it nice for beach days. I would have like beach chair but we also made it work

Perfect location!

We love Sapphire Beach and this was the perfect spot. Location is ideal and the unit was very welcoming. Perfect spot to escape to and have a wonderful trip! Loved every moment!

Wonderful Vacay

We had a wonderful time in B103! The location, view and vrbo was great! Sapphire Beach was awesome! The owner of the property left all things I asked for and was very quick to respond to anything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Sapphire beach is beautiful but……

I hate making a bad review so let’s just say…..once outside the condo you're in heaven. Thank god because the inside was not. Old, outdated, and dirty. Two Beach chairs they let you use, one is broken, towels are stained as the couch pillows. All dishes and utensils needed to be washed before using. Safe has been broken for years. Lastly, if you like to regulate your own air, you can’t hear. It’s under lock and key. You are stuck with the temperature they like. It’s a shame because the outside is simply amazing!! I don’t mind old but dirty, broken and stained is not for me.

Excellent place to stay!

The condo was in a perfect location! It walked right out onto the beach and was close to red hook and other attractions. There was a beautiful view and the beach was great. The condo was very comfortable and contacting the host was easy. I would definitely return there!

The best on Sapphire!

We stayed in this unit while on the island for our destination wedding. It’s wonderfully located right on the sand and made everything super easy for us. It was also one of the best furnished units we saw out of the 5-6 units guests stayed in for our wedding.

Wanted and paid for beachfront, forced to stay up the mountain unable to even see the beach.

We were unable to stay in the unit as air conditioning did not function. Brigitte was helpful in making arrangements for a stay in nearby condo. Unfortunately, we did not particularly enjoy replacement having specifically booked and paid for beachfront, larger, ground floor and full kitchen. This is where friction began as we were only offered a $90 credit which we did not feel was reasonable. Replacement unit was far from the beach, considerably smaller, upstairs, no outdoor porch, and missing a full kitchen/oven. The only positive was it was a far cleaner and neater property than Brigitte’s. We made the best of it, but, very much disagree that the small credit was fair. It did not make up for our lost vacation time, stress, and inconvenience . The groceries we purchased and were unable to use (no oven) likely cost almost $90 alone. We will be back to Sapphire Beach, but will absolutely avoid Brigitte’s property

Understanding/communication would go a long way

The location couldn’t of been better. Clean and literally gorgeous view. The issues I had was with getting my check in instructions a few hours before check in, communication was sometimes prompt other times not so much. We actually stayed in a different building the week previous and decided to stay longer but needed to book another condo because the one we had was booked for the remaining time we wanted to stay. I informed owner of this before booking and I understand cleaning needs to be done between guests but sitting in the hot sun from 10am-3pm with being told I would be notified around 1115 if we could check in any earlier than 3 and being told no at 230 was a little frustrating. As well as not getting any check in info until close to check in was as well. Also flight was at 5 and check out time said 11am, I asked if we could maybe stay until noon just so again we weren’t lugging luggage around for hours and once again , a firm no. But cleaning decided to come at 10am and hover outside the door for the hour until check out. Not to mention being woken up with almost having heart failure from security for the building banging on the glass sliding doors on the porch, not the front door, at 830am accusing us of having a green jeep ( which we taxi the entire time). There was everything you could need in the condo which was nice, comfy bed, internet / tv kept locking us off the supplied WiFi but not to bad. Just a little bit of understanding/communication would of been great

Ground floor B Building

Location was great. Located right outside the volleyball net, building B, ground floor! We had a party of 20 that came for our wedding and guests stayed in various units throughout the property. Little confusing how things worked since this was our 1st time staying here. We were there for 10 days and only had 1 and 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, 1/2 roll of paper towels and not clear how to get more towels. No instructions were given on how to get more amenities, if maids cleaned everyday or not at all. It would have been nice to have instructions a week before we came of how to check in, how to get amenities, what is all provided in the room, (i.e. hair dryer, fan, iron, etc.). Maybe also list of restaurants around the area. Others had snorkeling gear which would have been nice since we could snorkel right outside our unit. Also, others had nice low beach chairs while our unit had 1 rusted out one that we couldn't even open. This unit did supply an abundant of chairs which was great since our unit was the meeting place for the whole wedding party each day. The NO SEE UMS are horrible! Bring bug spray and anti itch cream! Overall, workers on the property are very friendly and always willing to help out! Quiet time is 10pm and pretty strict on that.

Perfectly lovely but not enough towels

This was a perfectly lovely beach condo. The property is very well managed with great security and groundskeeping. The beach itself is stunning. I had two main issues though. First, they only gave us five bath towels despite my asking Brigette for more. Well, five bath towels (total, not a piece) for seven days is quite petty and trifling. But to be fair, different condos have different owners, which I heard weren't so petty and trifling with their towels. The bed was extremely comfortable. The condo was stocked with everything we could possibly need for a beach stay. The other main issue, saying what no one else will: the bathroom stall was extremely narrow, which made it impossible to spread ones legs wide enough to wipe after #2: handheld shower device is MANDATORY. Make sure your unit has one (THANK GOD OURS DID). (My mother would be rolling over in her grave if she knew I divulged that great "secrete of the condos")(notice very few of their pics include the bathroom stalls. I think that's probably because they're all like that)(HANDHELD SHOWER DEVICE MANDATORY!!!!).. GREAT SNORKING AT SAPHIRE BEACH!!! Catch my youtube review which I'll be posting soon regarding the unit and its beautiful snorkeling beach at "travelingretiredteacher."
