Luxury Condo at Crystal Cove Saint Thomas USVI Sleeps 5

Sugar Sands Villa is located next to Turquoise waters and warm ocean breezes. Our villa is in a gated community offering a saltwater pool, 2 tennis courts, and great live music in the air from a near by bar on the beach. Our beautiful sleeps 5. The property faces the water and lets you leave your worries behind, left to enjoy the tranquil sounds of the waves hitting the beach while reading a book or enjoying the ocean breeze. Our condo includes all cooking supplies you need to create a nice meal including a charcoal bbq outside for use. We are on the lower level with a ramp to the front door, so access is easy for all ages. A back patio offers extra space to sit and read while enjoying the wildlife on Island time. This villa sleeps 5 comfortably with one queen, one queen sofa bed, and one day bed. On occasion power on the island can go out. We do have some candles and flashlights for out guests. Along with games and books to pass the time.

Red Hook bay is a five minute drive for groceries at Moe's offering a gourmet deli, produce, and Beverages.There are other great dining options such as Hookd, Duffy’s, Tap and Still, and a great local pizza shop.

Meghans bay is a 10 minute drive and the Ferry to St. John is in Red Hook (5 minute drive) including a Car Ferry to drive over and enjoy the day shopping, Trunks Bay or trying some of their amazing dining options.

Cost U-Less is a 10 minute drive for more bulk grocery options.

Our condo supplies linens and towels as well as wifi and air conditioning and cable-ready to login to your Hulu or Netflix account.

The beach is but a 1 minute walk to the sand.

Sugar Sands is a 20 minute drive from the airport and a rental car is suggested but not necessary if you plan to just sit by the beach and relax.

There are two restaurants nearby. The Sapphire Beach Bar is right on the beach where you can order from a full bar and get items like burgers, hotdogs, and fish tacos.(Full Moon Parties are a particularly good time!)
Or within a short walk is Sudi’s Restaurant.(It also has a pool on site where you can take a dip and wait for your order)

Sapphire Beach is great for families!
The beach has several Sea Grape Trees for shade. The bay waters are typically quit calm providing a safe place for kids to splash and play. Adventure and swim with turtles and bat rays if you are lucky!

The beach also offers rental gear from noodles to float, snorkel gear, and kayaks.




Highchair or pack and play available upon request.

Sapphire beach is an amazing area! We had our coffee every morning looking at the ocean view from the condo! Restaurants and bars with in walking distance. Lots of towels, beach chairs, snorkels, books, card games, pool noodles at the condo for use which was so handy!Condo was as pictured and for our my husband and I and our 3 children was just enough room!It could use a deep clean though. Cabinets are very dirty, dishes were dirty inside the cupboard, a good deep clean and it would be perfect. I wanted to sweep up sand and could not find a broom either. Otherwise overall it was wonderful!!! I would come back tomorrow!

Great place to stay

This place was very nice to stay at, looks like it was freshly remodeled. The only thing was the hot water was not working properly when we first got there, but the host had someone out there and it worked the rest of the trip. Great stay!

The best place for home away from home on vacation. This place has everything that you need!!!!!!

The locals are welcoming, the beach is blue, the local wildlife is friendly, and snorkling and scuba diving in this area has the best captains and mates. This whole week was exactly what our family needed. The condo was the perfect size for my family!!!!

The condo and location was perfect. Right by a beautiful beach and a couple places to eat and drink. We liked it enough that we probably wouldnt even look for another place to stay next time. I was a little bit confused initially checking in. The bed seemed to have a broken spring . Overall it was great, and we were very happy and comfortable.

Great location.

Everything was great! Practically on the beach. Short walk to restaurants. Very close to red hook for dining, shopping, groceries. We feel lucky to have selected this location.

Great beach escape

The property certainly was as described and had everything you could possibly need already in the Condo for a great beach escape making for a nice stay. The three of us thought the accommodations were more than adequate to suit our needs, and being so close to the beautiful sandy beach was just what we had hoped for.

Perfect stay in St. Thomas

Located in a gated community, this property was spacious and clean. A/C worked well. The beach is a very short walk and Red Hook/the ferry to St. John is a short cab ride away.

The property was nice and worked perfect for us! It smelled clean when we walked in. It is beach front, which was important for us. The chairs on the beach were nice- definitely beats having to drag chairs from the unit to the beach. The area was quiet and felt very safe. The owner was responsive. We had a great time on the island (this was our first time). There are two restaurants in short walking distance that we ate at multiple times during our stay- one was a pizza place and then another bar/restaurant right beside it. They were both great! Even for our picky eaters. The power did go out three different times for an extended amount of time, but we didn’t mind- we lit candles and played cards by the candle light. The pool was nice and in close proximity to the unit. There is a grocery store in close driving distance (go to Cost u less and Kmart… avoid “the food center” grocery store unless you want to pay outrageous prices). The only suggestion I would make- I like to cook-in the unit a lot while we vacation- there were very limited things to cook with as far as pots and pans. The dishwasher wasn’t working but someone was scheduled to come work on it. Norma stopped to check in and knocked on the door. It took my husband a minute to get to the door. She opened the door and my husband met her in the door. I thought that was a little odd. Overall, we had a great stay and very much enjoyed our week on the island! We would definitely rent again.

Perfect place in paradise

My favorite spot when traveling to St.Thomas. The beach is only 50 yards away (in my opinion the best beach on the island) in a gated condo community. This place was very nice....very clean, amenities provided, and the owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back 🌴😊♥️

Nicest condo at Crystal Cove.

I have stayed at 4 different condos in this complex over the years, all decent, but this one is the nicest, cleanest and most modern. Great host. Set you up for success and then let you to vacation in peace. Family friendly too with games and beach equipment.

We loved our stay at Sugar Sand! Everything was wonderful. Great location and beautiful beach. Condo had everything we could need. The only thing I can think of to critique would be we could've used a few more beach towels but not a huge deal! Would absolutely rent here again! Thanks for sharing your wonderful place!

Paradise

This is our second year staying in Crystal Cove. It is a hidden gem. We love everything about this place. The grounds are beautiful and swimming with sea turtles is icing on the cake. It is a great location with everything we need just a short drive away. We had 2 condos with 8 people in our party and everyone was highly satisfied. We will be returning next year.

Great place

Most everything was excellent. Our only dislike was the inconsistency of hot water in the shower. We did come back for a second stay & had oven problems. Other than that it’s beautiful!

Condo on the beach is what we wanted. It was not over crowded. Very happy with the property. Maybe thin out the rooster population. They crowed all night everynight.

First timers to USVI

Easy Check in. The condo has just been renovated along with the entire property. We picked this location for the access to the best beach and the fact that it also had tennis courts ( brought our own rackets and balls ) which was a huge plus for us. The pool located right next to the tennis courts was great also. Over all, great communications with the host. We had a couple of problems that came up that were quickly addressed, and I would highly recommend renting this unit. It does have a queen size bed, pull out couch, and a trundle bed for two. Easy access to the ferry to go to St. John’s also. We thoroughly enjoyed Sapphire, Beach ( beach chairs come with your stay) , and the restaurant and cafe ( coffee and breakfast ) on the property. We will be back .

Steps to Sugar Sands

Nice condo just steps from the beach. The condo was well equipped. Property has a restaurant, bar, pizza , coffee shop and a gift shop. There are plenty of beach towels , snorkel gear and stuff. The condo is air conditioned. . it is on the nice quiet and beautiful Sapphire beach. This location is very close to Town and the ferry . The only down side is the hot water situation

Wonderful condo on a spectacular beach

We had a wonderful time staying at this property and would not change a thing. From beginning to end, the host was so responsive and accommodating; an absolute pleasure to work with! The condo was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We cook most of our meals and the kitchen was very well appointed with all of the necessary tools in great condition (and then some). The back patio was so nice and a great place to hang wet suits and towels on the line and rinse snorkel equipment. The short, easy walk (no steps) to the beach was convenient. Excellent snorkeling off beach(turtles, rays, octopus, etc.), lounge chairs provided, shade on beach when desired and very close to Red Hook all made for an excellent vacation. We highly recommend Sugar Sand Villa!

Beautiful condo on the best beach on the island!

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this Crystal Cove/Sapphire Beach West condo. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well appointed and it had more than enough towels and beach towels for the whole week. I really liked the availability of beach chairs reserved for condo residents only and I also liked having the little porch area with a clothes line to dry our suits and towels. The community is gated which I also really like; however, we could never figure out the pedestrian gate. If you’re looking for a tour of the island, use Godfrey. They were the best. Christian was a very responsive and helpful host. Thanks for a memorable vacation!
