This 3 bedroom, 2 bath 2 story home is splashed with color to bring beauty and charm for your retreat. Located near the heart of La Crosse, area activities, colleges, and hospitals, it is a convenient location in beautiful southwest Wisconsin.

What will you find at 8th Street Blues? Every room is a true delight with many details to make your stay an enjoyable one! This updated home provides central air, comfortable bedding, a full kitchen, and all the basic supplies you would need for preparing meals, including Kuerig, Instant Pot, and a starting supply of spices and beverages. Lots of items for family time… including games, books, toys, and DVDs. We even have a special 8th Street "Blues Clues" scavenger hunt(enjoyed by all ages)... and yes for all you return guests, we have a new scavenger hunt for you to conquer! Outdoors offers a patio area and grill for dining as well as games to enjoy in a nice sized yard with privacy fencing. We provide extra sleeping areas, bedding, toiletries, and a laundry room. Off street parking is available off the alley for up to 3 vehicles. Cleanliness is a high priority to us. Hygiene supplies are provided to use as you need. Between visitors, we clean the home thoroughly for your protection. We ask no pets or smoking please.

Beautifully-appointed, family home with great spaces to cook, eat, converse and play games. The scavenger hunt was a fun way to “discover” nooks and crannies of the home. Perfect spot for two couples to meet and enjoy a long weekend reconnecting!!! Excellent communication, spotless, cozy spaces- comfortable beds, easy parking- and a safe, quiet neighborhood close to everything.

The home was decorated so cute. You could tell somwone put thought in to it. Everything in the kitchen was labeled which we found very helpful. It was a great space for our weekend trip to visit our son in La Crosse. We loved the big kitchen table to play games and the private outdoor area was great too. The bathrooms were very nice with the amenities they provided and the soft towels. Every thing was great and the scavenger hunt just put it over the top. We will be booking again for sure.

This was the cutest and coziest little Vrbo for our friends' weekend in La Crosse! It was nice to get to all be together and this spot gave us a touchdown to hang out between things and at night. The hosts are great with communication and with just having things set up and labeled for you to easily integrate into being there. And fun too, with the super fun scavenger hunt that kept us busy and excited to find the clues!

We stayed at this home for a week for a fishing tournament. Sheila was wonderful, super helpful and responsive. This house is close to a lot of things and in a convenient location. The street parking is 2 hour Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm. There is parking for vehicles in the back, but I would not recommend this home if you're staying for a fishing tournament. Sheila was kind enough to allow us to park in the back yard since there wasn't space in the parking area, but the back gate is extremely tight to get the boat trailer through. She was also kind enough to get us a parking permit to park on the street for more than 2 hours during the day.

We had a wonderful stay in this clean, well decorated, cozy home. It’s very close to Viterbo and was perfect for us visiting our student at UW LAX. The bedrooms were comfortable and the home had everything we needed. Easy parking on the street and close to local bars and restaurants for eating. Sheila was quick to respond when contacted and had great communication. I would absolutely stay here again. I’m sad it’s already booked for graduation week! Great stay! Highly recommend!

Charming home with cozy spaces to hang out and play games. The house is tucked into a cute neighborhood roughly a mile from downtown. Parking in the back was convenient, and communication with the owner was awesome. LaCrosse has many local attractions including my favorite, the scenic overlook at Grandad Bluff Park. We would happily stay here again and check out even more attractions.

8th Street Blues was great! Spacious and easy to get to. We took the Amtrak train into La Crosse and it was a very short uber to the property. It was also within 10 mins of downtown and the river, which was great for when we had some downtime. There was plenty of room for two couples and even space for more if needed. Would definitely recommend going forward!

Great spot for a trip with friends

This is a charming property, a quick drive or longish walk from downtown La Crosse. The host is very accommodating and responsive. I appreciate all the games and the scavenger hunt!

Awesome lodgings!

This house is well-cared for and maintained and it shows! Great location, clean and beautiful home and yard and a more than comfy and cozy stay. We had a fantastic time at the "Blues" house and really felt welcomed by the cleanliness and care the owners showed in how they maintained the house and outside. My daughter loved the downstairs that adds an extra sleeping area so really it's a 4 bedroom- just can't call the downstairs room a bedroom but it really is cozy and great!The neighborhood? I bit sketchy at night. I forgot to lock my car door and someone rummaged through and took my loose change overnight. My bad. Half a dozen "wanderers" in the neighborhood after sunset but if you're with a partner- all is good. Walking distance (10 mins) to several local bars and restaurants. Easy commute to all of LaCrosse and beyond. Overall, great stay- super clean, so comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The grill is a bonus and the privacy of the backyard is greatly appreciated! Will book again- but lock my car doors.
