Good location and size, not clean, limited amenities

The house is in a great location and was large enough for our 2 families to enjoy vacation together. Easily walkable to the beach even with beach chairs, toys, and small children. Plenty of sleeping space for all.Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place had a lot to be desired. We found mpty bottles and past guests socks under the beds and even found mens underwear in a blanket in the living room. The kitchen was very greasy with the wall behind the trashcan covered in food splatter and cigarette butts and a lighter were found on the patio area. This property has a management company so when i reached out to them it was a standard "we'll let the cleaners know" response. Batteries for TV remotes didn't work and they did offer to bring new batteries. Additionally, for such a large place where larger groups would stay, there was only 1 trashbag and 1 roll of paper towels provided. Absolutely nothing like spices, sugar, coffee filters, etc was in the house like most every other vrbo we've stayed at has had. Beware and bring anything you might want to have or be prepared to buy it.

Hi Mary, thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that Paradise on Perrin is big enough for your two families and located in a great location! Looking back through your messages, we did see where we offered to send Housekeeping back out to clean and with replacement batteries but you denied the service. We provide guests with starter kits and then they provide their essentials for the rest of the stay. Thank you for choosing Rental Leaf and staying at Paradise on Perrin.

They property was very clean and spacious. Only complaint would be that all the rooms had tvs and in 2 of the rooms the TVs volumes wouldn't work because the remote didn't work. I reached out for advice but got no response so our kids didn't get to enjoy their rooms and use the TVs in those 2 particular rooms. Other than that everything was good

Great time at North Myrtle Beach

Such a beautiful home to vacation with family! We had a total of 11 people and there was more than enough room! Walking distance from the beach and close to local stores and such! Would definitely rent this house again if we visit North Myrtle Beach.

Place is old, was dirty, had a wet musty odor.. the price was cheap and close to beach

Dirty, old, smelt.. low rent for a week, close to beach .. public beach access a bit crowded.. beach access was bonus close.. if place was cleaner and did not smell it would of been much better stay

We don't ever like to speak negatively about our guests, however we like to use our response to be factual as possible due to new guests using this information for vacation decisions. This guest did call within 15 mins arrival and mentioned a housekeeping issue. We responded within 15 mins because we do take it very seriously. The guest seemed "unhinged" so we just asked for a specific issue that we could address. The bathroom was addressed as a problem area, upon inspection nothing could be discovered and the guest "remember" they had cleaned it. This did seem strange due to the short time period that had gone by from when we were called to when we responded. We did admit that we had some AC duct work done in the attic space right before arrival and did create some dust (which was agreed as a concern by the guest) We did make an agreed corrective action to satisfy the guests for this oversite on our part. As reflected in our hundreds of 5 star reviews on all of our properties, our goal is always to exceed our guests expectation. However sometimes that does not happen. It's always a good lesson for us on how to get better at what we do. Thank you.
