This beautiful and spacious apartment is its own floor in a newly-renovated 1890 Victorian. Conveniently located between Allentown and Elmwood Village, this neighborhood is vibrant, young, and central to all of Buffalo's top attractions.

The house you'll be staying in was built in 1891, and is situated across from the former site of the William Fargo mansion. Fargo, founder of the Wells Fargo Stagecoach Company, was the Mayor of Buffalo during one of the city's most prosperous periods, and at the time this home was built, the owners would have looked onto the mansion's expansive grounds from the porch.

There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other has a queen bed.

Stylish & very clean. Smart house with the lights took a little to get used to but loved the motion sensor lighting when you walked into the space. TV room in the back was cozy and got great sleep in comfortable beds.

Great accommodations, especially the kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet, and we were in close proximity to the Custard Corner (excellent ice cream stand).

Convenient location, sufficient parking, comfortable beds, nice kitchen. Most of the furniture, including the bed in room 2, was mid-century modern and pretty low to the ground. I stubbed my toe on the leg of the bed which was hidden by the comforter.Reno is incomplete; 1/4 round has been removed in some areas (presumably in preparation for refinishing floors), leaving gaps between the floor and the wall. There is dirt in the cavity in the second bedroom (see photo). We weren’t fans of the lighting. Had to use my phone flashlight to read the display on the refrigerator ice & water dispenser. When we went to bed, we left the kitchen countertop lights on so we could see if we got up during the night. It turned off automatically, leaving us in the dark. We ended up having to use the task light on the piano - quite possibly the brightest light in the house - as a night light.

Beautiful home

While there were so many dining/bar experiences we looked forward to, some of our favorite memories to take from this space were made on the porch! Thank you for maintaining the home so beautifully, Patrick! Before heading home, we were already talking about making our way back and hopefully will be able to snag this home again. Plenty of walkable restaurants, bars, also a great book store, coffee and bakery.

This Place was more than I expected. The pictures those not do justice to this place. It is Amazing Cozy and classic. Beautiful decorate it... The piano it is a nice touch. I will highly recommended. You will not regret it.

Home Away From Home

Beautiful place and great location

Very clean and modern but in a building with a lot of character and charm! The lighting created a zen atmosphere and the place was very spacious. Love the attention to detail. Also it was a great location with plenty of restaurants and bars close by!

Let’s Go Buffalo

Stayed at this great place with my partner and friend for a 4-day Bills home game weekend trip. Partner is originally from Buffalo and wanted to stay close to Allentown. Walked and took short Uber rides. Was a good home base for a day trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls. Will stay here again!

Beautiful home with everything a person would need for a short vacation.

It was a very nice older house updated and modern feel with beautiful woodworking throughout. The only two complaints I would have it there is also an upstairs apartment and they seemed to be up late into Saturday morning partying and going up and down the stairs. Also both nights ones was riding a dirt bike of some sort up and down the street and around the house. But other than that it’s a beautiful place to stay far as in the city.

40th Anniversary in Buffalo - Friendliest People We Have Ever met!!

My wife and I have many friends who are faithful Buffalonians and are just great all-around people. So, we decided to visit Buffalo for our 40th. Our stay was AMAZING!!! My wife raved about this property, which has never happened before. It was modernized without losing its Victorian charm -- something that happens a lot with renos. The light switches did take a little bit to figure out. Patrick (owner) was great. He promptly answered our many questions. (Thanks Patrick!!) As for the location, this neighborhood appears to be bouncing back. It's located close to just about everything. Mind you, as one Buffalonian told us, you can get anywhere in Buffalo in about 20 minutes. One thing that we didn't really realize until we got to the property is that there are two flats in this house. We stayed in the ground floor flat. Our neighbor upstairs was quiet even though we heard the floorboards creak as he walked. It wasn't bad at all, though. He had some friends over one evening. We didn't even hear them. All in all, we highly recommend this property. It's very comfortable and you will feel right at home...especially if you like to play piano. The piano in the flat is a local product and very, very nice. One final note about Buffalo. We love it! Just about every single person we met was super friendly and very helpful. When our car broke down in the middle of Porter Rd, two people hustled from across the street to help me push our car off the road. We'll be back!!
