Cute place, paper thin walls
This property was very cute and convenient. I did overall enjoy the stay in the apartment, but my sleep schedule was entirely dependent on my neighbors (who were renting the property next door).
The apartment itself was clean, well decorated, and had everything I needed (BYOSoap though!). I was glad I could eat, sleep, and get ready there. I was able to iron my clothes, shower, and prepare my own food. That was great! And it’s only a few minutes from downtown, and 10-15 minutes from the French quarter. It was almost a great landing pad. However-
The walls were paper thin, and there is a door that led from the apartment I stayed in to their rental. I could hear EVERYTHING coming from the other side of the wall. They weren’t even particularly loud people; but the sound travelled so much that they sounded like they were in the same room as me. I could hear every conversation, clear as day, and even when they were doing the dishes. I was glad to have headphones and earplugs but it was definitely off putting, and I wish I had known this before hand. I don’t think I’d stay at this property again, just because of that. It is unfortunate because the apartment was so cute.
