We absolutely enjoyed being in this spacious home. This home is clean , warm and inviting. My family enjoyed the pool and late night games with cookies and ice cream. The beds are extremely comfortable. The first floor bedroom is a bonus. I can’t wait to come back.

Nice residence for big groups

Great area, a little bit difficult to get in/out of due to only 2 bridges back to mainland. Nice beachy area.

A nice, relaxing beach house

We went to Isle of Palms as a group of friends who hadn’t been able to really spend a lot of time together in the past 2 years due to the pandemic. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and bay during our walks. The pool is amazing, and it was so fun to relax by the pool 😊

The Inside Of The Property Was Immaculate… The Kitchen Was Pristine… Our Family Spent Many Happy Hours Inside Of The Rental… A Bonus Was That Each Bedroom Had A Private Bathroom… We Were Quite Pleased With The Inside Of The Property… Our Only Comment On The Inside Is That A Few Of The Public Closets Could Have Been A Wee Bit Better Organized… And… Some Of The Furniture Is A Wee Bit More Worn Than Shown In The Pictures (To Be Expected In A Rental)… This Is Being VERY Picky,,, Because We Loved The Inside Of The Property…The Outside Of The Property Was A Little Disappointing Upon Arrival… The Garage Door Was Broken And Was Stuck In The Open Position… The Garage Was Unorganized And Not Welcoming At All… The Pool Had Debris In It (There Was A Storm The Night Before)… And… The Pool Needs To Be Repainted… The Outside Table Was Quite Dirty, And It Needed A Good Cleaning… We Contacted Management Immediately… We Were Given A Blessing By Having Kyle Answer The Call… He Began To Work On The Issues The Next Morning… He Did Everything In His Power To Solve The Issues… We Felt VERY Lucky To Meet And Have Him Work With Us…Overall, This Is A Beautiful Rental Property… It Has A Great Location Close To Both The Beach And The Marina… With A Little Tender Loving Care To The Outside This Rental Would Have Received A 5-Star Rating On Every Aspect… We Are Thankful That We Were Able To Rent It For The Week… !!!

small issues, but great home.

We were overall super impressed with the property and location and are looking to go back. We had only 2 small issues, the golf cart quit on us when we were at the Resort, but it was quickly taken care. The pool at the house was cloudy when we arrived and we were unable to use it. We found that we used the pool at the resort instead, just a little inconvenience. The pool issue was related to the recent hurricane I am sure.

Almost a Great Rental

Solid house with a nice floor plan. Golf cart is very handy and garage is well organized. A few suggestions to make it a great rental: *Beds and/or mattresses need to be replaced as they are extremely sensitive to movement. (i.e. entire bed shakes when one person moves even the slightest bit) *Have grill cleaned between rentals - excess grease/food collects at the bottom over time and catches on fire easily (ruined our dinner). Tenants can not be trusted to clean a grill and upcoming tenants should not have to suffer for those previous tenants that do not take care of the grill. *Consider adding HD service to the TV in the living room since it's an HD tv (at least from Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend) *Replace ceiling fans on back patio - they look like they're about to fall off the ceiling *Remove requirement of tenant to replace gas for grill - this should be checked and replaced by owner. This was our 2nd time staying here in 3 years and we really like the house, the owner, and the management contact. Onsite contact is very nice and accessible as outlined in the detailed instructions provided. Hope the information above is taken as helpful suggestions for improvement and NOT BASHING THE PROPERTY. Look forward to returning one day!

Needs Improvement

Creature comforts overlooked: very dirty golf cart for which we paid x- tra, ice maker dirty, pool and pool deck not clean upon arrival, all bikes unusable( flat tires). Number 1: every shower is an accident waiting to happen... no grab bars and slick floors except for upstairs master. On a positive note, kitchen well-equipped, loved the deck overlooking pool, golf course. Because weather was perfect, we had a lovely week, but felt sorry to pester property manager about problems.

We appreciate you taking a moment to give us some feedback about your recent stay with us. Reviews are such a big part of our business to ensure that you and our future guests are getting the vacation they deserve, as well as, making sure our properties are being presented to our standard! That being said, we do apologize for some of the inconveniences you ran into during your stay and the owner and our property manager have already actioned several of the items you mentioned. The golf cart has been detailed and will become part of each of our inspectors checklist when going through the property and will be cleaned as needed! The pool was cleaned the day of your arrival but unfortunately, some residue may have settled at the bottom after the pool company finished. Thanks to your feedback, we have also identified that some changes to our neighbors landscaping was causing some soil to come through the fence when windy or wet. We are now in the process of installing a barrier to minimize this in the future. We do apologise for leaving the owners bikes out and the temptation that they present, we have removed them for future guests. And lastly, we do have anti-slip tile in the bathrooms but we will review whether we are able to instal grab bars to our tubs / showers. Again, thank you for giving us this information and we encourage our guests to provide feedback so we can maintain the standard we, and our guests, expect. Please do not feel bad for reaching out to us, we are always more than willing to help if there are ever any issues during your stay. Sincerely, Sweetgrass Properties

Sweetgrass Stay

House was excellent, and had everything as advertised. No issues or concerns with the house/check-in process. Food and Beverage at the wild dunes restaurants was more expensive as compared to the rest of the island though the food quality was comparable. And two of the restaurants were closed or down to limited options on Saturday (still during their advertised business hours), would expect more for the money being paid.

Excellent

The house was very clean an comfortable. The neighbors were helpful and a pleasure to chat with. The only confusion was knowing if recycling was do to be out for pick up or not. I would suggest a calendar to help the renters out. Other than that, would definitely come back.

Everything was great with the house. The house on the right side alarm was going off the entire time we were there. Property Managers should look into resolving this issue.

Great house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yacht harbor. The marina is just a few steps away, and the beach a short spin in the provided golf cart. We had been to wild dunes before and were familiar with the area. Due to Covid we didn’t eat out and just stocked up at Harry Teethers which is a great store, as well as got take out from the Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s island. Their food is fabulous. Would’ve like to eat at the Boathouse.. maybe next time! The house itself could not be faulted and very clean.. aside from the grill being very dirty but my husband wasn’t long giving it a clean to cook on. The house has everything you need .. although it would’ve been handy for them to supply a few extra trash bags and washing tablets. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children under 10. There was initially another family of 4 to join us for a couple of days but Covid changed our plans. There was ample space for another family with the listed 4 bedrooms, and the double bunk also had a trundle, and I believe the sofa a tv/lounge room upstairs also folded out into a bed. So spacious.. beautiful balconies overlooking the pool and golf course too! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

A nice last minute beach trip

This was a great house with private pool making it idea during Covid. A bit far from the beach, but use of the golf cart made up for this. We had a few small hiccups with the master bathroom plumbing and golf cart battery, it these were quickly addressed by the property owner.

Awesome Location!

What we loved about this property was: - Location! Right on the golf course with walking/biking paths everywhere. Paths right from the house to the marina -Plenty of space for my family of 5 adults and 1 French Bulldog.🐶 -Extras like a gas grill, a beautiful pool that we enjoyed, a golf cart, a Wild Dunes pass that allows us to golf, access to the club pool and other amenities, ability to park for free at The Beach House - gorgeous spot to hang out by the beach. - beds were comfy! What could have been better: - Golf cart broke down and stranded us for a bit. They replaced the cart within 24 hours. - The cable box didn’t work in the living room but we were able to swap it with one of the bedroom boxes until the local VRBO contact brought a new one. - there is a rug under the kitchen table that has a corner that flips over/sticks up and I believe each of us tripped at least once during our visit - not a deal breaker but disappointing was that there were 6 bikes in the garage but they wouldn’t allow renters to use them. Overall, we had a great time!

Generally nice but needs some repairs

We enjoyed our stay. The house has good bones but some things are in need of attention. We understand that there are new owners and that some things, like the appliances, are being replaced. It was helpful to have the golf cart to go to the beach, but the golf cart is in pretty bad shape. It’s rusty and the step on the back is unstable. We enjoyed the pool.

A house with great potential, but has some BIG issues.

Right off the bat, I can say at face value this house checks a lot of boxes for any vacationer. But for anyone reading this review, I HIGHLY encourage reaching out to the property manager to inquire if the following issues have been addressed, before putting down any deposit. For us, we had several minor issues, and 2 major issues. Just to list off the minor issues: Ice maker is slow, there is no TV in the "TV Room" upstairs, master bathroom had a bar of used soap in the shower upon our arrival, a few light bulbs were burned out across the house upon our arrival, the dishwasher was not properly mounted into the counter, and the smoke detector battery was low and woke us up at 6:30am one morning. For several of these issues (that could easily have been prevented), we had interrupt our vacation to contact the property manager to have someone come out and fix it. Mind you, this is also during the middle of a pandemic, when you'd ideally like to limit this kind of interaction. Moving on to the major issues we had, first, our use of the pool was limited to only half of our vacation, because apparently there was a "small electrical current" running through the pool, according to a repair man and the property manager. Despite the fact that the pool was the sole reason we rented this property, and couldn't use it for half the vacation, the property manager and owners gave us back a very small refund, that was not commensurate with what value that brings to the house as a rental property. Our second issue was that the downstairs A/C does not work effectively at all, and never got below 72 degrees. When we arrived, the A/C for both the upstairs and downstairs was actually locked by management, where we could not adjust it below 70 degrees. We had someone come over (again) and unlock both, and while the upstairs air did work perfectly, the downstairs A/C was just pitiful. There is clearly an issue with it, because other vacationers have posted similar reviews about it, but management has not done anything to fix it. All that being said, if all of those issues are fixed, I promise you will absolutely love this house. It's a great property, in a great area, but management need to get serious about ensuring renters get their money's worth.

Dear James, I'm so sorry you had issues during your stay. I know that the pool closure was a major issue for you and this was done out of an abundance of caution near the end of your trip. I am so sorry that happened. We immediatly addressed all other issues within 8 - 24 hours of your phone calls which is really the best we could do during covid. I do undertand it was not what you wanted during your vacation. We have exciting interior design plans coming up in the near future and I hope you'll consider coming back to visit with your new bride. , Thanks, Beth Keetch
