"Village Lake Life" at its Finest! The charming and newly restored “Curry Cottage” has been fully renovated with the original reclaimed wood planks & beams, and is ready for you to enjoy direct water access to Squam Lake via your dock slip just steps away from your private deck with water views. The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, beautiful linens and towels, private and shared outdoor spaces. Enjoy Kayaks, the Firepit and lawn games! While the property sits on 3 acres of land along the Squam Lake Channel and Route 3, its Accommodations are located in a select area to provide maximum privacy with scenic views while providing in-town convenience for our guests. Modern conveniences include AC, Weber Gas Grill, WIFI and Smart TVs.

We purchased "Curry Place" in 2017 and we invited our close friend and builder, David Groom, to visit the property and offer up his expertise and share some ideas. We discussed how we might reposition and restore the property to accommodate guests along the beautiful Squam Channel side of the property. We also agreed that we needed to respect the historical significance and colonial architecture long situated on the site since the early 1800’s. David, who holds his degree in American History and is also a lover of old homes, agreed to partner with us to purchase, redesign and carefully renovate the 3 acre property.
