Great, comfortable home-location was private, quiet yet close enough to everything. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen (including knives that weren’t dull!!) and the beach pass, chairs, boogie boards etc. Cheryl was very responsive to our questions-we had a great experience!

We loved Cheryl‘s cottage and had a wonderful visit there. The beach pass to the town park was fabulous. Property was very clean. Had plenty of room for all of us and everything we needed for our visit. I was glad that I saw on the reviews that I needed to bring my own sheets and towels so that I knew that ahead of time. Cheryl did a great job communicating was very available when I had questions. I highly recommend the property!

The beach passes were amazing! We vacation in Maine and at the Cape a lot and can never really get into the water because of how cold it is, we always seem to manage to get in in Rhode Island. The house was generously stocked and had plenty of room. Charlestown is pretty low key but had what we needed. Go see Greta and Erik (the trolls) so cool! Oh Umbrella Factory too!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very convenient to local beaches, restaurants and our friends in the area. The property is well stocked with kitchen dinnerware, cooking pots and pans and other small appliances which we were not expecting. The house was very clean and the bathroom upgrades were a pleasant surprise. There is ample parking in the driveway to get cars off the street. Cheryl was a pleasure and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property to others looking to rent in this area.

Great family house

We enjoyed this house very much--it's spacious and full of light. The beaches we enjoy are all nearby and sitting on the porch and in the garden was equally enjoyable.

All The Things

Everything we needed: comfortable spaces, well equipped kitchen, spacious master, perfect guest rooms, nice bathrooms, private outdoor areas, outside shower, and a short drive to perfect beaches (with a provided parking pass). And our host was pleasant and very responsive. What more can you ask for? Quick note: you’ll need to bring sheets and towels. We used the local rental agency, which worked great. We LOVE South County RI!

Rhode Island Vacation

This is a lovely vacation home. Wonderful location and so well stocked with most anything you might need. We eat out, but it appeared to have everything you would need to cook. The mattresses were very comfortable. The house is in a lovely area and located near beaches. Having the parking permit to 2 beaches was an extra for us as we had never been to Blue Shutters beach. The fenced yard was great for our grandchildren. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you!

Great beach rental

We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent - close to beaches, nice neighborhood to walk around. Communication with the host was very prompt. The beach parking pass to Charlestown beach and Blue Shutters was wonderful to have. One thing that was not included in the description of the property is that linens are not included in the rental so you have to bring all the sheets and towels. I only found this out by thinking to ask the host ahead of time.

Hi there! Thanks for the review and the feedback. The linen info is buried in our description, but I will find a more prominent place to display it so no one has to ask. Good note! Take care, Cheryl

Great Summer vacation at the beach house with family

We really enjoyed staying at this rental and definitely would consider renting this place again. The house is located off the main road in a quiet neighborhood with a large yard. The house had ample space for my 3 teenage daughters, my parents, brother and myself with my girlfriend. We quickly realized the deck on the front of the house with an awning was the place to have our meals and entertain friends and family. The awning provide super helpful during several short showers during our stay and to enjoy the outside without getting cooked by the sun. Shrubs along the road provided privacy and overall the house was quiet and comfortable during the evening. Several restaurants are a short drive away as is the Charlestown Town Beach.

We have been vacationing in this area for many years and this neighborhood for almost 5 years. We love this neighborhood and were excited to try a new house this summer. We were not disappointed! Cheryl was quick with all communication, check in/check out was seamless. The house was clean, comfortable and the layout was great for our family. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cookware, bowls, sharp knives, utensils and everything we needed for meal prep and cooking. The bedrooms had comfortable mattresses and quality furniture making it feel like a home away from home. A washer & dryer are non negotiables for us on vacation and AC was nice and cold. We enjoyed the grill and outdoor dining. The outdoor shower is also a key feature after the beach. We will keep this one on our list for future stays.
