Located in the River's Bend neighborhood in Steinhatchee, this is a quiet fishing town in the Big Bend area of Florida known for summertime scalloping and year-round fishing for trout, redfish, seabass, grouper and more. One of the hidden gems of Florida, Steinhatchee abounds with ambiance and offers a taste of 'Old Florida'. The Steinhatchee area is known as 'Florida's Scallop Capital'. It's a perfect getaway to scallop, fish, or just get some R & R.

No need to trailer your boat to the public boat ramps! We have you covered. A private boat ramp and dock located steps away from the house is available for residents and renters of River's Bend. You can leave your boat overnight at the dock or park it under the house. Enjoy a short 30 minute boat ride along the Steinhatchee River as you make your way to the Gulf. After you make a big catch, there is a fish cleaning house next to the boat ramp. Unwind for the night in the community pool or in a rocking chair on your porch with a river view.

This house is 1500 sq. feet with an open floor plan connecting the family room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee machine, crock pot, toaster, and blender. We have a Blackstone grill for your grilling needs. Linens and towels included. Starter kit with toilet paper, paper towels dishwasher tabs, dish soap, and laundry detergent also included.

This property offers Live Streaming and WiFi.

Family room has a mounted 70" smart tv and Golden Tee for those young and old. Downstairs there is fun too! You can find corn hole, ping pong table, and hook and ring game. You will also find a tv downstairs to enjoy while grilling or playing games.

This house sleeps 8. There are three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a king bed with a soaking tub, stand up shower and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed and full bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. Each room has a wall mounted tv.

After your first visit to the "Hatchee Hideaway", you won't be able to stay away!

Great location on the upper Steinhatchee River in a small, quiet neighborhood. The boat ramp and dock are conveniently close by. The Hatchee Hideaway is nicely furnished with everything you need to enjoy your visit.

The property was beautiful and perfect. They went over and above supplying it with everything. There were 6 of us and we had so much fun. The hosts were super accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We usually go twice a summer and will be staying here again.

Perfect for our small group

Stayed with some friends for a long weekend of scalloping. This well-appointed, comfortable property was perfect for us. What we liked: -property mgr called to welcome us personally and to make sure we checked in okay. - comfy beds and pillows - plenty of seating in the living room. - nice kitchen - community pool What could have been better: - coffee maker did not work. :-(. Fortunately, there was a Keurig as a backup. - property mgr offered to bring a replacement, but never delivered on this promise. :-(
