Manasota Key Retreat with free use of bikes and paddle board

Come as you are, kick off your shoes, and immerse yourself into this tropical Paradise. A kayak and boat launch into Forked Creek is only 2 minutes down the road. Forked Creek has abundant wildlife including dolphins and manatees. Are you more of a beach enthusiast? Then pack up the cooler and beach chairs and go hunt for shells or catch some rays at the beach. Manasota Key beach is less then 2 miles away. It comes highly recommended by the locals and is a great spot for any occasion! If you would like to venture out and explore the area, there are many safe bike routes nearby. Fantastic restaurants are an easy drive and many of them are on the water. Music and nightlife entertainment are within minutes on Manasota Key or down on Dearborn St in the heart of Englewood. We are also located 10 miles from the CoolToday Park which hosts the Atlanta Braves spring training.

We enjoy offering couples and families a wonderful value added vacation and a great guest experience as well. We like to think we've thought of everything to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable. Included in your stay are bicycles, paddle board, beach supplies, and a BowFlex home gym. With a unique location, this three bedroom split floor plan home offers privacy for guests and everything you need for an amazing vacation.

We've ensured your ability to prepare, serve, and then relax any way your heart desires with a fully stocked and recently remodeled Kitchen with new appliances and comfortable Living Room with new flooring. Enjoy luxury linens in your King size beds. Outside, your private furnished outdoor lanai awaits; where you can dine and sit around the fire pit on a cool night, or lounge the day away reading your favorite book and living the Florida lifestyle.

If you have any questions, always feel free to contact us directly. Please note, there is a Ring door bell located on the outside garage wall facing the driveway that is active and will be in use during your stay.

Loved our stay

We loved our stay and loved how close it was to beach access. Thanks for providing beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. I was relaxing on the back porch when I noticed a turtle crossing in the backyard. Guess that’s why there is a turtle crossing sign in the front window. lol. Thanks again!

Great experience!

The house is on a very quiet street. Very clean and has nice "homey" touches - ex. laundry baskets. It is very well stock will everything you'll need and a nice book has been created that let's you know everything about staying in the house and surrounding area activities. Check-in is very easy and Ron is very responsive to calls and text messages. Would definitely stay again.

This is our 6th March in the area and this property was the best we've had. House had amost everything you need. The 2 lanai's made for relaxing times. We loved the closeness to Manasota Beach & Englewood. Will definitely try to book again.

Great house close to beaches

We stayed in this home for 2 weeks with our kids ! This home was perfect and only 7 minutes to our favorite beach ! We will defiantly rent again for our next vacation !!

Great place to stay

We liked it that this house had 2 bedrooms with king beds since we shared this vrbo with our adult daughter and her husband. The kitchen was also well stocked. This was a great place to stay.

Second 30-night Stay & Returning!

This year was our second, month-long stay at “Manasota Key Retreat with free use of bikes and paddle board” property and when we come back it is because of the awesome CLEANLINESS & Communications! The property manager Ron is so responsive he is more of a concierge than a mere “property manager.” The owners are accommodating, thoughtful and gracious. The close proximity to the fabulous beaches is priceless, the neighborhood is pin-drop quiet and the neighbors are all warm, friendly and wonderfully helpful! The road this property is on is positively awesome for relaxing walks with your fur family members! The owners graciousness in allowing use of the bowflex home gym (not a “toy”) in the garage saved us a fortune in time, obviating any need to spend 1/2 hour driving each way to crowded commercial gyms. Brand new hot water heater and really up-to-date (like new) appliances - property and owners are all 5-star, all the way

This was a lovely home in a wonderful neighborhood. We really enjoyed the space and use of bicycles and beach things. This was our first time in the area and i look forward to returning!

A clean, quiet, fresh Gem of a property!

This. Property. Is. A. Gem. Period. Full stop. First of all, “Manasota Key Retreat with free use of bikes and paddle board” RESTORED OUR FAITH IN VRBO 5-star RATINGS, with regards to cleanliness. This property checked our biggest box: it is clean, Clean, CLEAN!!!!! You are staying in someone’s home-away-from their year ‘round home. Who care about their home. It shows! Quite honestly, the owner’s care and attention made it a privilege for us to take care of the property as well as we do our own, if not better! Our small dog positively reveled in being able to sunbathe out on the screened lanai (NO worries about hawks!) and Bark Beach is close enough we were able to visit for sunsets very conveniently. Lemon Bay Preserve and Shamrock Park are also a hop, skip and small jump away. The beds are comfy, the air conditioning system superb, the kitchen had everything we needed and the neighborhood is so nice and quiet it was a real treat to be able to take a long dog walk down the wide road without having to worry about traffic. And, for our small dog, the yard is huge, by coastal property standards. Wonderfully-friendly neighbors on both sides and the owner’s property manager Ron is positively outstanding with communications. (We’ve done VRBO for awhile now and rapid communications is a big help in avoiding small issues turning into bigger ones, unnecessarily.) We are already booked for next year so, THAT should say it all! thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!

Fourth of July and birthday week vacation

We had an exceptional time at this home. After a small blunder on door codes, we checked into the home. The house is a nice setup with split floor plan. The rooms are comfortable and decorated like seaside a cottage. The lanai is roomy and the screened in area was perfect for the pups to play fetch, for steaks on the grill, and for playing bag toss. The owners exceeded my expectations by making sure the lawn got mowed after the mower was rained out the day prior to our arrival. FL daily rain makes the grass grow fast, but they made sure to accommodate for my pups. Kitchen and baths were nicely appointed and provided us with consumables plenty. We loved the house and the location was so convenient to Caspersen, Blind Pass, and Englewood beaches!!! Would definitely rent again and would recommend for families. Huge yard! Nice extras for the beach with cooler, chairs, SUP, and shark tooth strainer!! Very comfortable week, we were so grateful to spend it there!! Our daughter had a wonderful birthday and we loved the house. Great owners!

Outstanding Value, Cherished Vacation

We just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in this lovely home in Englewood Florida, and we loved every minute, from our daily visit to the lovely, family-friendly beach to paddleboarding in the creek that leads to the bay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us, and thank you for your generosity in considering every need of your guests. There was an abundance of everything you might need in the home. We also loved riding the bikes. A huge thank you for letting us bring our dog. She made some wonderful new friends in this friendly neighborhood. And lastly, a huge thank you to Ron, who answered every question, was so kind and immediately mailed me some valuables I forgot in the unit. We loved our vacation, thank you!

Beautiful house, had everything we needed. We had the best time. My kids loved it.

Family Vacation

Great location, close to grocery stores, outdoor activities, brought our boat and used public boat ramp a few miles away. Short drive to local beaches. Well stocked with anything you may need or forgot. Quiet neighborhood and just right for our family of 4. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, bright, comfortable, well-appointed house. Great location out of the chaos of Venice, but still close to everything. Only wish it was available for next year! We loved it.

Home away from home.

We loved our stay in Englewood. The house was super clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need. The beaches were so close we often went during the day and went back for the beautiful sunsets. We were there with another couple for most of the time and there was plenty of space for all of us without being on top of one another. I would rent this property again in a minute. Unfortunately, already rented for next year. Ron, the property manager couldn't have been anymore helpful. Answered any questions immediately. Great vacation!

Adorable neighborhood

This home was adorable. Very cute 3/2 split plan. Porches would be a dream in the cooler months, as it was hot we didn’t use them too often. Quiet street and friendly neighbors
