100% Recommendation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been celebrating the end of summer with our kinds for 17 yrs in Avila. They are now in their mid 20s and it is a annual highlight. Gather is a great location, giving everyone plenty of space to relax, and easy walking distance to everything. The house is very nicely decorated and equiped but not so nice that you worry about it. The kitchen had everything we needed for a holiday meal but we only did light cooking. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. Keyless entry is so convenient when you have people coming and going ... didn't have to manages who has the keys! Generous parking, beach chairs and towels and toys. We would definitely stay here again. Also - the property managers were very responsive ... we didn't need anything but i did reach out just to let them know we had checked in and they responded very quickly.

House was very clean and equipped with enough cooking equipment and had plenty of space for several people to work preparing meals. Huge table held 12 people for our big dinner gathering. Bring kitchen essentials such as foil, baggies, spices and extra paper towels and napkins as a big group will run short of what is provided. Great ocean view from the roof top deck that has a fire pit.

Beach Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home with a lot of space for extended family, kids and grandkids. The ping pong table and the miniture golf was a hit with the grandkids. The only improvement i would suggest would be to update the pans for cooking on that beautiful Wolf stove.

Perfect summer family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a fabulous location - close to the little town, the beach, activities like kayaking and biking. Also only a few minutes away from both Pismo Beach and SLO. Absolutely great for all five kids age 3 to 14. One especially loved the aquarium, all loved the beautiful beach. We all loved the small town feel and are glad we stayed here instead of Pismo Beach! I can't say enough about what a pretty town this is and what a great location this house is in.

Relaxed visit at "gather" in Avila Beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our sixth time to rent this beautiful home. We are a group of 10 friends who get together on an annual basis. The home is perfect for our needs. It is well stocked and in a great location. Loved the fire pit on the rooftop terrace. We enjoyed having ping pong, corn hole and a putting green. We had a minor maintenance issue and 7 sisters reacted quickly to fix the problem. We hope to be back!

A Wonderful Family Gathering

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely time. We were surprised at how well equipped the kitchen and pantry were. We loved the margarita machine! I was pleased with the floor plan, the three bedrooms being upstairs. The chair lift was especially helpful for me since I’m still recovering from a fall. The chair on the landing was not working. I would have appreciated grab bars in shower.

Gather at Avila

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property very well appointed—owners new additions very tasteful and high quality. Property was selected because of bedrooms and chair lift on stairs. Despite our phone confirmation that there were 2 bedrooms on main floor , in fact there was one..This conversation was with someone in management office who said she was very familiar with property Told to inform office is needed access to chair lift. This was done one week prior to rental. Upon arrival there was no keys. Person that came got all three chairs operating but could not return them. Next day Kurt and Cheryl came to operate oven and we had them look at chair lift. They tried to figure out how to call lift back and we suggested there should be a remote but they had no knowledge of such a device. The next day I called office and left a message. The next morning Kathryn called and said she left at 3 the day before. She would send a supervisor. No one ever came. This was a major inconvenience for 6 women over 80

The Gather

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for 6 adults and 2 little ones. Perfect location, beach was super close, and walking distance to everything at Avila Beach. We did go on probably one of the hottest weekends of the year and found out fast that there was no A/C, note to self do not go on the hottest weekend. Would stay here again though, had the beach equipment, loved the corn hole and putting green and ping pong table, made family memories.

Gather@Avilla Large Avilla Hme

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a good family bonding experience but disappointed in the house view. From the images on line, there looks to be a view but that is only from the 4th floor rooftop. The main living floor overlooks a parking lot. Appliances in kitchens we all broken so cooking in house was a challenge. The refrigerator froze our food. Dishwasher racks were broken and could not be pulled out. The furniture in the house is very worn and needs to be replaced-especially the kitchen stools! This house for the price was not a good value and pictures on line are deceiving.
