Summer Adventures on the Lake! Bring your boat

The Acorn is a charming 2/2 canal front bungalow with direct access to Lake Eustis. Large boat dock with slip space. Secure parking for trucks and trailers. Ready for bass tournaments or a weekend at the Dora sandbar or one of the many local springs. Visit the lakeside restaurants on the beautiful Harris Chain of Lakes when you're ready for a cold drink or a meal. Just 45 minutes to Orlando or Ocala if you feel the need to go to town.

*We are committed to protecting our properties, guests and neighbors which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest - SuperHog, vacation rental guest-screening provider.

Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. Within 48 Hours of booking

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during your stay up to $500

Rustic lake house design, open concept living space, deck, and firepit. Come relax in our quite neighborhood. Eustis and the surrounding area is home to many small town America festivals and events including First Fridays, Georgefest (President's day) Mt. Dora Art festival and Leesburg Bike Fest (only 8 miles from Gator Harley) If golf is your game hit the links on one of the many Championship courses in The Villages (30 minute drive)

Bring your boat for the tournament or just spend time on the water around the Harris Chain. Secure inside storage for your rods and equipment as well.

Grill some steaks on the deck for dinner and relax around the firepit enjoying the stars after a day on the water. For those that want relax on the couch and watch movies we have new Roku streaming HD tvs.

Dan & Michelle were very responsive. The property is beautiful, clean and located near lots of shopping, entertainment and food options. We came for the events of the season, but will be back to enjoy more of what h property offers. Although we visited with friends, the property would definitely be family accommodating.

Perfect for fishing

Brought our two young kids and in laws to stay here to celebrate my husband's birthday. My husband enjoyed getting up early each day and walking right out to fish. We brought our boat and easily put it in at a very close ramp and kept it in the water all weekend at the dock behind the house. We originally thought we'd stay on the dora canal but after seeing how crazy busy it is we were happy to be a bit away. Publix was very close, the house was comfortable for the 6 of us. Dan was quick to respond to us and gave us helpful information on the area. We enjoyed our stay!

Booked this for a fishing trip. The location was great and the owners made us feel welcome. They left muffins on our arrival and left clear instructions and recommendations for us. Will definitely stay again. Thanks again

Bad beds

Overall a very nice place to stay. Our only real complaint is the beds. The beds were too hard, one squeaked with any little movement, and the sofa hide a bed was unusable due to very thin mattress and the frame bars that poked right into your back. Was only able to use the hide a bed once because of its terrible mattress and frame

Weekend away

Just came for a weekend away to relax and unplug. We brought our boat so it was nice to have it right there at the house. Spent time on the lake fishing and cruising around. House was very nice and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Great property

Drove down in February to go fishing for a Month. The house and property were great had no complaints. Dan and Michelle were great if I needed anything they were happy to help. The house was fully stocked so I didn't need much. Place was great. Harris chain an amazing fishery. Cant wait to rent property again.

Great property

We were in Leesburg for a fishing tournament and had my wife and kids along. The kids enjoyed being so close to disney. The boat dock behind the house worked great allowing us to dump the boat and leave it in the water. The house was extremely clean and was incredible. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Amazing house on Lake Eustis

This was our second time renting this house and it is even nicer than the pictures! Perfect location and being able to dock the boat right outside the back door is so convenient. This house has everything you could possibly want and more! The fresh muffins and New Years Eve party favors were the icing on the cake! Will definitely stay again when we are in the area!

Excellent

We stayed here over Christmas while visiting my mom who lives in the area. It was perfect! The house is updated and beautifully decorated. Everything was in great condition and there wasn’t one thing we needed that they didn’t have on hand. The owners kindly left donuts and coffee for us upon arrival, and even put up a Christmas tree for us to decorate! We had a wonderful Christmas celebration with my mom and step dad in the home! Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Property was better than described. Extremely clean and appeared newly renovated with new appliances. Location central to lakes and events happening in town. Best stocked kitchen I have ever seen at a VRBO property, including spices and coffee. Dock is sturdy and roomy. Able to dock our 17 ft Bass Tracker with no problem. Quiet area with alot of wildlife to watch. Neighbors were friendly as well. Host was very quick to respond and friendly. Able to early check-in with small fee. Host provided variety of danishes upon check-in. Wi-fi worked extremely well. Would absolutely stay again!

Perfectly Quaint Place

Beautiful home, very clean! The hosts were great, answered any questions quickly and they even left some wonderful breakfast muffins for us - very sweet gesture. Overall superb listing and we would definitely stay again.

very nice place

Would definitely stay again and bring a boat with me next time and dock right at the house. The chain of lakes with the canals and channels is awesome and would be a great adventure with a boat. House is very comfortable, clean and spacious in a nice quiet neighborhood. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife in the back yard. We hiked several of the local nature preserves and enjoyed the many great restaurants in the area, especially enjoyed the town of Mt Dora with its shopping and eateries. Premier Boats canal tours in Mt. Dora was a great 2 hour tour. Two thumbs up for this place.

Lake Eustis Fishing Trip

We had a great time and the property is in like new condition. Dock out back worked perfect for our bass boat. Owners were on top of this rental and checked to be sure everything was going well and supplied us with coffee and a few pastries to get started. Would highly recommend this property for a small family or a few guys like us to fish from.

Amazing house on Lake Eustis!

We had a fabulous time on the Harris Chain! The house was perfect and had everything you could ask for. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in years of renting on VRBO. There were both indoor and outdoor games and a dock so we could leave our boat tied up at the house. This is a beautiful home and the owners were incredible to work with. They even left us fresh donuts and coffee. We will definitely be back!

Best VRBO rental ever!

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and it was THE PERFECT place! My family has stayed at many rental properties all over the country and this place was by far the most stocked, best decorated, and most comfortable place yet. Some places only leave you a few dishes and not much in the way of utensils etc. But the Acorn house had everything I needed to serve a Thanksgiving meal! My kids were fishing on the dock within 10 minutes of our arrival. The adults enjoyed wine by the campfire each night, and my husband and I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee (awesome coffee bar!) each morning overlooking the canal with temperatures in the 60's. We stopped a few places on our drive in looking for firewood for the campfire and didn't find any. To my surprise, there was plenty of firewood on sight! Another pleasant surprise was the baked goodies waiting for us when we arrived. My kids dug in right away and we enjoyed the rest with coffee the next day! Can't say enough about the Acorn house, it was awesome!
