Vacation of a lifetime

We love getting up every morning and just walking out to the beach, being able to see the whales migrate from our backyard. The property was clean and well-maintained.

Great place to stay!

The listing is accurate! We were looking for an oceanfront place to stay where we could enjoy our morning coffee while listening to the ocean and watching the whales. We weren’t looking for a big resort. We really enjoyed the peaceful lawn at the edge of the ocean. We’d come back to this place next time we’re in Maui.

Beautiful view!

We loved staying here. You can't beat the view. You can access the ocean from this location. Beautiful views of whales. Close to restaurants. Pool was clean and relaxing. The unit was clean and had a lot of kitchen supplies.

Great for whale watching

Great location! We could whale watch and had beautiful sunsets on our lanai. They even provided binoculars! The condo was well equipped and very clean. Only complaint was the living rm carpet was stained and old.

Absolutely Amazing!

This was such a wonderful place to stay. We had an amazing honeymoon. My only constructive criticism would be that a wished there was more hot water for the shower. Someone with longer or thicker hair, it takes a a little bit longer, and it was a struggle to get through a shower while the water was still hot. But that literally is the only thing, and just constructive criticism, not bad.

Relaxing

Overall, the stay was great. Pros: amazing view, spectacular location for sunsets, has A/C, perfect size for 2 adults, comfy beds & pillows, all the kitchen accessories you need, BBQ grill was clean & easy to use, parking is plentiful and close to the room. Cons: I wish the light switches were labeled as there were so many, the sliding glass door is super heavy and a bit difficult to open & close. Being on the ground level, there were quite a few people walking by the slider, which faces the water. We went in the spring when it wasn't too crowded, but I would suspect during a busier time this could be a hinderance. Overall, we enjoyed the location in regards to the complex as well as the city. We did not use the washer/dryer, but the Mr. Coffee machine worked great, and we appreciated the coffee they had for us.

The location was great and easy to get to to shops, restaurants and other locations on the island, although there is not a sandy beach in walking distance. I absolutely oved being ground level! We had breakfast outside every morning and the sunsets were incredible! I would have to say my favorite part was that every afternoon, there were several sea turtles right in front of our sea wall. My only complaints were that there wasn’t enough hot water in the unit, about half way through every shower the water was cold and the AC didn’t work well enough to cool down the bedroom in the front of the unit. Overall though, a great place to stay!

Nice place to stay. Air conditioning doesn’t cool down the unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is oceanfront with a lava rock wall out front and no beach. The view is gorgeous. The unit has been recently remodeled and is very nice. The carpet needs to be cleaned and the floors mopped by the cleaning crew. I would get out of the shower and walk barefoot around the condo and 10 minutes later my feet are filthy.The air conditioner is to small, it’s 1 room A/C unit and does not cool down the place when the afternoon sun hits it. The unit needs a bigger A/C unit in this condo. So for the price you pay to stay there A/C should not be an issue. The code for the condo front door and the Wi-Fi code are needed in advance of arrival. I had no Wi-Fi access when I arrived to get the condo code. Then I see it wasn’t ever send. I called Epic and got the code.

Wonderful stay

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect with a great view. Could not have asked for a better spot for our frost trip to Maui.

The location is wonderful. Nothing special about this unit. Never did have enough hot water for a full shower. No ice maker so constantly filling 2 ice trays to stay up with demand. Would stay in this building without question but in a different unit

Hideaway in Paradise

The condo was very cozy and the view was incredible. It would have been nice to have a few more things. There were no Kleenex and no salt, pepper, sugar or anything. The kitchen was furnished very sparsely. There were only 5 matching glasses and 4 nice mugs. The plates were awful. Also, the curtains on the window were very shabby. The rest of the furniture was very nice and comfortable.

A few things that could help would be air-conditioning in the bedroom, first cup of coffee or at least a filter to go to coffee machine. The view was excellent the apartment was comfortable, the beach was small but very usable and there were at least 12 turtles easily seen from the backyard. One of the vertical shades in the bedroom was missing and with the light outside the bedroom it took me a few days to realize I could stuff a sheet to curb the light, All small things easily fixed. I would definitely stay here again if they added air-conditioning to the bedroom bedroom
