Red Bud at Grandview Cottages

Enjoy your very own personal cabin sitting on top of the Appalachian mountains. Wake up to breathtaking views and fall asleep under the stars. This cabin gives you privacy in the mountains but offers tons of outdoor attractions. With top-of-the-line amenities, no matter the occasion, you are sure to love this cabin and your stay. While being fully furnished, this cabin sleeps up to 6 people. Having 3 bedrooms total, 1 being an upstairs loft, 1 on the main floor, 1 on the lower floor, and 2 bathrooms total. The loft and main bedroom are equipped with queen beds; the lower floor bedroom is equipped with 2 twin beds.


Additionally, there is a flatscreen TV in the living room (includes satellite and streaming), a walk-around outside deck, and a sitting area. A fully stocked kitchen with cooking utensils (Food not included), Keurig coffee maker, toaster, stocked laundry room, fresh linens & towels, and outside fireplace. We are available 24/7 during your stay. This cabin sits on top of the Appalachia mountains; there are other cabins within walking distance. There is a small country store gas station you can pick up small groceries. Parking is very open, and you will be responsible for your transportation to attractions or other places you may want to visit.

Breathtaking view and property!!

Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!

Great getaway

This is a beautiful location. Very clean and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a drive out to the cabin but we'll worth it.

What a gem! The view is fabulous!

This secluded, peaceful cabin was absolutely a gem of a find for us. This very spacious, beautifully equipped cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of 6! It’s just like it’s listed plus more. . . We could have stayed at the cabin the whole time just to enjoy the view! WOW! We loved the easy check-in and check-out and the welcome letter sent right before we left included a lot of information that was helpful to prepare for the trip! The gas grill made for quick, inexpensive dinners at the cabin, and the spacious kitchen allowed us to sleep in and eat our own homemade breakfasts. The kitchen has a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker so you can take your perfect cup of coffee out on the deck to enjoy the fog lifting off the mountains. The beds were very comfortable and there were lots of extra linens/towels. (Including extra toilet paper!) We loved the outdoor fireplace and used it for several nights. The wood stack was unlimited! The house was clean and tidy, the grounds were well taken care of: the whole property was just absolutely beautiful! The gas station/store has some basic items and delicious pizzas but the grocery store 30 minutes away had everything needed for our stay. There were also lots of things to see nearby. We really enjoyed this property and we took advantage of several hikes. We will definitely tell our family and friends and will re-book if we ever are in the neighborhood again. Thanks, John & Shellie! We LOVED your place!

Nice place

Should be noted that the property is located within a hunting preserve. Not that it is bad but if your dog is afraid of gunshots you should know. Owners are great people. The overall experience was great. Dad was like a kid checking it all out.

Amazing views and property, worth the drive!

The owners are easy to work with, to reach. It's a bit of a drive to get there but worth every mile! The views are breathtaking... sunrise, sunset, and the view of a sky full of stars by the firepit. The cottage is adorable and well appointed with great quality and style. Highly recommend the property!
