Awesome stay!

Great Location!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! My grown daughter, niece and I came specifically for some beach time and this was a perfect location! We brought our beach gear and wagons and this place was a great location to just walk to the beach!

Adorable cottage in great location

This cottage is darling and spotless! We walked to the beach in one direction and to The Strand in the other direction. Super close to great restaurants. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch and drinks in garden amongst beautiful roses. Great weekend getaway!

Great home close to the beach

The house was exactly what we were hoping for. It was accommodating, clean, and pet-friendly. The owner was very responsive to my messages. My family was able to walk to the beach,which was just a few blocks away. We definitely plan to return.

Very nice property

My husband and I (along with our dog) spent the weekend celebrating his birthday. We were not aware that it was Lone Star Rally weekend, but enjoyed our time in Galveston. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the walk to the seawall/beach and the close proximity to the Strand. I would recommend this property for 2-4 people.

Great house,location and host

The house was as pictured and had everything you could want for a short term rental. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and a 4 minute drive to the Strand and downtown. Small yard but enough for our small dog and was landscaped nicely. Host responded within minutes when we had booking questions. Great experience and will definitely book again.

The house was beautiful! We arrived 1 hour prior to our check in time and the host was immediately responsive to allowing us access ahead of schedule. The kitchen is stocked with the basics so if you plan to utilize the charcoal grill, come prepared with grilling itensils

Great weekend getaway!

The house was clean and cute to stay in. It’s a few blocks away from the beach, but very walkable. Neighborhood was fine, but parking is limited to one vehicle. We brought our dog as well; the house was fine for the dog but our only complaint was there wasn’t much real grass for potty breaks. He would get burrs stuck in his feet and ours and would just have to walk him to better grass. Outside of that, we had a wonderful time and the house was a great location to lots of places. We would stay again!

Great location!

This location was great for walking to the beach in one direction and biking to the Strand in the other. Sound insulation isn't the greatest if you're a super light sleeper -- the church on one side and the neighbor's dog on the other were definitely audible but not really disruptive. There was plenty of parking, all the appliances we needed, plus a nice little sitting area outside. ONLY reason why my friends and I would choose a different spot next time is the twin beds; the double bed was SUPER comfy but my friends using the twin beds reported a rough sleep.

This was the BEST trip I have ever had. The house had everything, I mean everything I could need! The walk to the beach was so easy and was my favorite thing about this place. The bed was unbelievably comfortable! There was ice in the freezer and Potpourri poo spray in the bathroom! Which some of y’all might not realize you want it, until you’re on your first vacation with a new guy (like me). I will definitely be booking this place again!!!!

Nice Time

This property is nice because a few blocks to the right is the strand and a few blocks to the left is the seawall. Not really good for a family that wants to cook but great for four girlfriends wanting some beach time. Thanks for the awesome host and his responsiveness.

Absolutely amazing

This place was more wonderful than I expected. Walking in the house was extremely clean and smelled great. I felt right at home with the atmosphere. Distance to the beach is great, no trouble sleeping. This is a beach house I would love to rent out again and recommend.

Wonderful weekend retreat!

The property is very close to the sea wall and the strand. We had no problem with noise or anything at the house. It was perfect! The only thing you need to bring is shampoo and food everything else is provided! We were very happy with our stay. Thank You for a great weekend!

Galveston Cottage

Nice clean home with a short walk or drive to the Seawall. The cottage has recently been updated with new furniture and appliances. The small porch and yard is great to relax and listen to the waves and feel the gulf breeze.

Nice House Bad Experience

The house was very nice and clean inside. There is some type of factory next store that seems to load trucks 24 hours a day, so sleeping in the master bedroom was very difficult. Location very close to the beach, but surroundings are not the best. We also experienced a lot of strange activity (doors opening, bangs in kitchen,etc.) I’m not a huge believer in the paranormal, but my wife and son did not feel relaxed. We ended our stay a few days early, and were not offered even 1 day refund. Granted there is a refund policy, but it would’ve been courteous.
