Location, location, location!—with a view and a free parking spot too! Situated the heart of downtown you can easily walk to restaurants, art galleries, shopping, the museum, coastal trail and Ship Creek. There is a view of the inlet and Mt. Susitna (Sleeping Lady) from both the living room and bedroom. There is a large smart TV, electric fireplace and a dishwasher. There are washers and dryers in the building but not in the unit.

This property was very well maintained and the owner went above and beyond to provide the extra touches - fresh pastries, a bottle of wine, breakfast staples, chocolates...even coins for the laundry facility. Do yourself a favor and stay here any time you have the chance!

Great Condo, Perfect Location, Incredible Host

The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. And stocked with drinks, snacks, chocolate, eggs, pastries, condiments, and plenty of Keurig coffee. And I can't forget to mention the bottle of wine! There were notes place all over the house. I felt very welcomed into this home and the host made my experience very memorable. Jeri you are amazing! And the view and location was fantastic. So easy to get around town, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and having a parking spot made daily excursions out of town simple and efficient. I would definitely stay here again. Absolutely loved the place. I almost stayed at the Hilton across the street and I'm so, so glad I found this place instead.

This rental property is perfect. It has a view of the water and mountains. Very clean. So many extra amenities that aren't usually in rental properties. The kitchen had some sweet treats as well. The most well-stocked rental property ever. We were truly spoiled by all this property had. The host was super communicative and accommodating. There is laundry in the building so you don't have to overpack your suitcase. It's easily walkable to many shops and restaurants. Short drive from the airport. This is a property I would stay at again without hesitation. I highly recommend it.

Great location and a wonderful thoughtful host. Host thought about everything that one needs while on vacation. For example, there was fruit, wine, sweet bread, water and drinks. Local information and maps…Even quarters for the laundry down stairs. Condo has beautiful views, warm and so comfortable. A gem in downtown Anchorage

Loved staying in this cozy, convenient condo in anchorage. Over the top in stocking all you would need for your stay. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely book again.

Anchorage Gem

Look no further and book now. A perfect spot in downtown Anchorage within walking distance of great restaurants and breweries. The place is exactly as described and pictured, perhaps even better in person. No detail overlooked. Fresh snacks, eggs, fruit, drinks, coffee, candies, you name it. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one takes one of the top spots. Jeri was very responsive and could not have been better to work with. Perfect in every way. Highly recommend!

Great home base!

Condo was cozy and clean. Close to everything. Loved all the thoughtful things the host did before we arrived. Food and drinks in the fridge, candy, laundry supplies (even quarters), little notes everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Host!

We loved our stay in Uptown in Downtown! We have never stayed in a VRBO rental so thoughtfully well-equipped for guests. Thank you so much for stocking not only what one might need (laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, dishwasher tabs, etc.), but also filling the condo with essentials and treats (baked goods were especially yummy!), water, coffee, eggs, yogurt, and bear bells and spray! How thoughtful! What a wonderful and generous host! We loved the location of the condo, as it fit right into our plans to use the Alaska Railroad to travel for a day trip, rent bikes, hike outside of town, and more. The condo is comfortable, safe and secure, and has an assigned parking spot—which was so convenient. It was a perfect fit for our trip! Thanks for everything!!

Exactly as advertised + a little more

We were really shocked by how clean the apartment and the building as a whole were - especially considering it is quite an old building. Everything is maintained meticulously. We were in Alaska for our honeymoon and the host had a sweet welcome sign when we walked into the property. It made us feel so welcome, and the apartment feels like you’re moving into a home, not just an average Vrbo. It had all the small amenities we could ask for - the fridge was even stocked with some basic items!! We were really impressed and loved staying here! Definitely would stay again.

Perfect home away from home

Can’t beat this location, the place has everything you need and MUCH more! It’s very cozy, has a lot of local stuff to check out inside, and the views are insane. Stayed here for 9 nights and would gladly do it again!

I can't say enough good things about the property and host, Jeri. From the time we booked the property through our departure, Jeri kept in touch with us with directions, offering to let us in early and stay a bit later. The condo had everything and more than we needed or expected. We started our trip in Vancouver, BC cruised up to Alaska, stay along the way from Denali, Fairbanks and back to Anchorage and this by far was the best stay. Thanks for ending our trip with a 5 star stay Jeri.

Very Good Location

Convenient downtown location, easy parking, secure, 1950s building. Well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Since you’re downtown it can get a little noisy. City life; city culture. I’d return, no doubt. Nicely decorated unit. Comfortable. We did have a flying totem pole (inside joke). Owner flexible with our checking in & out times as we really had some odd flights. Really enjoyed our stay. Went to a wedding at the Cook Hotel, but had a lot of time to check out the sites. Next time, we’ll be more prepared for hiking.

Top notch

Great location, super clean and so well-stocked. Jeri is a great host and goes above and beyond with all the thoughtful amenities…pastries, fruit, eggs, coffee and even a welcome bottle of wine. Very convenient to Alaska Railroad, Coastal Trail and all the great downtown restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Truly a perfect home away from home

The property was perfect, cozy, and had a great view of sleeping lady. The kitchen was well equipped including coffee, creamer, etc. And we were welcomed with yummy baked goods. It’s located downtown within walking distance to many restaurants and little shops and galleries as well. When traveling to Anchorage, this property will always be our first choice for accommodations.

Amazing Condo - Quiet Building

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Jeri was by far the best host we’d ever had. Check in was a breeze. The condo was stocked with food in frig, fresh baked goods, apples and a bottle of wine to welcome us! Very comfortable and clean. And in walking distance to many great restaurants, the Anchorage Museum and shopping. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jeri, for making our vacation so special.

Excellent Stay!

We used Anchorage and this delightful condo as our home base for Alaska Railroad and other tours. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to the train depot and to other tour pickup points. Plenty of restaurants in the area. The view from the condo is wonderful! I never tired of it. If you visit in late spring or summer be prepared for how bright the living area is. Jeri is by far the most attentive and thoughtful host we have encountered. Fresh baked goods, fresh apples, and little touches (like chocolate) around the condo. Well stocked with everything we needed and more. If we are fortunate enough to return to Anchorage I would not hesitate to rent this condo again. Thank you Jeri!

Warm and Cozy!

We were looking forward to the decor exactly as pictured, then were surprised by Christmas decorations as well. The full supply closets help with many needs, and the baked treats were an added pleasure. We were pleased with the quiet building, so close to everything, and actually enjoyed the ease of checking-in and checking-out. Jeri is wonderful!

Excellent Stay

The location and amenities were excellent. Our host made sure we had everything for our month long stay. Jeri made sure we had clean linens and towels for our stay. Location was great! Kitchen was even stocked with coffee and food for us. We would certainly stay at this condo again when we come to Anchorage.

Uptown in Downtown

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was right downtown Anchorage with a beautiful view of the inlet. It was cozy with beautiful Christmas decorations which made our stay over Christmas merry and bright. The host was very helpful and friendly. The condo was clean and organized and had everything we might need and then some. The muffins and treats were a bonus! We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.
