(See note below re: electric limit) Gorgeous 1937 Taos adobe completely updated and turn-key ready for your ski winter in Taos. Perfect for digital nomads with fiber optic wifi available throughout property. Just off the main road to Taos Ski Valley. Quiet and private in-town, mini-compound just 5-10 minute walk to Kit Carson Park, Ski Shuttle and ski store, Plaza, coffee, breakfast, restaurants, galleries, etc.

Beautifully updated 1937 Adobe bungalow in w/ 2 bedroom/ 2 bath + detached sunny, light-filled heated studio/office space or 3rd guest bedroom (no water) - all within fully fenced, private mini-compound just blocks from Plaza. A warm, cozy vintage feel with classic adobe style: intimate living and dining area, + private guest suite with private deck and entrance, and stand-alone, light-filled studio/office/guest bedroom.

Everything you love about Taos architecture - 18-inch adobe walls, arched doorways, carved porch posts, beamed viga ceilings and kiva LR fireplace. Firewood included. All new electric heaters. Front and back porches for all-day sun. Kitchen just redesigned with rustic feel but fully ready for your chef fun. Gas stove w/ all new kitchen cabinets, paint, flooring & Bosch dishwasher. New paint and flooring throughout most of house. Large, light-filled master bath w/ soaking tub, shower, newer large washer & dryer. Master bedroom features all new closets, kiva fireplace (decor only), high beamed ceilings, new fans and natural light.

Very private guest suite is off kitchen with its own entrance & patio; bath w/ shower, sitting area and small stove and fridge.

Utilities include fiber-optic wireless and lots of firewood. NOTE: $250. cap on electric per month. Overages will be taken from $500. electric fee. If not used, fee is fully refundable.

Lots of parking. Walk to Plaza, Kit Carson Park, numerous restaurants, galleries and fun. Turn-key ready for your Taos dream escape. One of a kind! Fiber optic wifi throughout property!

One approved dog okay. No aggressive breeds such as pitbulls or pitbull mixes. No cats allowed! No exceptions - owner very allergic.

*Landlord pays water/trash/sewer, gas, wifi, $250. of electric. Ample firewood included.

Fantastic home and location

We rented this property for 6 weeks to escape the Texas heat. It was a beautiful home, perfect for our many needs. 1) The studio was a great space allowing us to work without interruptions. 2) We had family visit, and the separate guest suite and studio allowed everyone to have their private (and very comfortable!) spots. 3) We were literally 4 blocks from the shops and restaurants surrounding the plaza. We loved it and will likely return for a future getaway. Thanks Jennifer!

Fantastic stay!

This property was perfect and absolutely as described on VRBO. The pictures do not do it justice. It is spacious, furnished comfortably, has a fully equipped kitchen, and is in a perfect location. It is walking distance to numerous restaurants, art galleries, shops, and the town square, yet the neighborhood is very quiet. For those who wish to stay in, there is a smart TV with available apps. There are comfy outside chairs for a quiet evening watching the sunset. I really liked this place and would stay here again on any other trip I have to Taos. Loved it!

Unique Adobe home in central Taos

Very unique and interesting property that was close enough to walk to most of Taos' attractions. Very well supplied, especially the kitchen. The weather was cool when we arrived and we enjoyed a number of fires in the cute fireplace. Three different porch areas for enjoying the outside throughout the day. The small casita on the property worked great for our grandkids who visited for a few days. Highly recommended. Owner and caretaker were most responsive and so friendly. Check it out.

I also have a Taos caretaker available for local maintenance and other needs. One day I will live in this house full-time and I have carefully curated and designed it for that day. I want my guests to feel the magic of Taos through this house the way I do.
