Johns Pass Fisherman's Cove & Cottage

Water Front Newley Renovated 2-bedroom 1-bath cottage with its own entrance. No expense spared. Quality Linens, Smart Televisions in both bedrooms and living room, Sectional leather sofa, full kitchen and smart locks. This house is appointed with a King Size bed in the Master and a queen size bed in the second bedroom. Very comfortable for 4. This property is situated on a quite water front cove where 4 commercial fishing boats dock. If you get lucky enough you may run into the captain and crew either before or after their trip docking their vessel. Just under 150 steps to Village Blvd in the heart of Johns Pass historic fishing village. Johns Pass offers Shopping, restaurants, outdoor Bars with bands, water sports, tiki boat tours, ice cream shops and Fish Famous Seafood Market at Dons Dock. Come watch a commercial fishing boat unload their catch on the boardwalk above Dons Dock. Or take a quick 5-to-7-minute walk down the boardwalk to our beautiful beach for a day of fun in the sun or to wind down and watch one of our stunning sunsets.

Please bring all personal hygiene products. We will only supply paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap and hand soap.

We have Two Nautica Back Pack 5 position lay back beach chairs in the unit. We have beach towels but they are just basic beach towels like you see at a hotel. If you want the really large beach towels I would recommend bringing.

No Smoking - If you smoke we will charge a $250 Cleaning Fee.
Boat Slips NOT available.

Nice, clean place

The cottage itself is very nice, gave it 5 stars. Very clean, great location in regards to proximity to restaurants, 5 minute walk to the beach. It was too bad we had two old looking large fishing boats docked directly in front of the cottage the whole time we were there so we had no view of the water. Directly around the property is rough looking areas because there’s a lot of properties still rebuilding after the recent hurricanes, but we were pleasantly surprised once we got inside the unit. We’d stay there again.

Great dolphin watching from backyard!

Clean and tidy place for our small family beach getaway! Super quick walk to shops, food, broadway, and music! Beach was nice and across the Main Street. Easy daily walk with backpacks and chairs ;) we loved watching the dolphins every morning and evening from the porch!! Great location, so clean, and peaceful. We enjoyed the stay a lot ;)

Beautiful spot right on the water. Immaculately designed and cared for by the owner. Prompt communication and effortless self check-in. Shops, restaurants, and boardwalk are just a few minutes walk. Will definitely try to book here again next time I'm in the area.

A must stay place in Madeira Beach!

What a perfect week we had! The location of this cottage could not be better! It is on a quiet cove with a great place to sit outside, eat, read, or relax in the sun! You can easily walk to anywhere in John's Pass, everything was so close! The interior is beautiful with every amenity and very comfortable furniture and a great bed! Vicky was easy to communicate with! Definitely a repeat place for us to stay! We loved it!

Quiet little cottsge

We loved the peaceful mornings where you could sit out back and drink your coffee next to the marina. Watch the pelicans. The house was very clean; towels were plenty. 2 nice beach chairs and towels are provided. A/c in each room. I would stay here again. The owner was very responsive as well.

Perfect getaway

This was our 2nd time visiting Maderia Beach and staying here. The location is great for walking evwrything. The house is amazing the staff is even better! I will definitely stay here again in thr future. amazing

Fantastic Cottage

Hubby and I wanted to get back to his hometown to visit friends and to fish. This cottage is located a short walk from the John's Pass Pier and a lot ofwonderful restaurants. The cottage was just as it was described. We didn't do much cooking but it looked like there were all the items needed to do so. The beds were comfy, the AC worked just great... it was a very positive experience. Vicky was responsive and great to work with. That's was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this cottage!

Guy's retreat!

We stay here every year for a "guy's fishing trip". We drive from Atlanta and LOVE this place! It's right behind Jihn's Pass wi6h all of the shopping and dining, the marina and charters. The cottage is roomy and put the back door is the inlet. So, fishing right off the patio! Mgt is very nice and accommodating . The place is always super clean and cold A/C !

Cottage by the sea

We had an amazing stay. Our host was very responsive. The space was spotless and cozy. There was a patio to sit out on and watch the sunset. It was in walking distance to everything. Our host even accommodated us by allowing us to leave our car parked there on checkout day as we were leaving later that evening. Our stay was perfect!

This really is the best kept secret at John's Pass. The location to the boardwalk, restaurants and beach was great. The facility was perfect and suited our needs.

Material Beach getaway

This little bayside 2 bedroom was so cute. It was quiet and very private.but very close to food, shops and the beach. The property management keeps the property clean and they are very easy to contact and communicate with. I hIghly recommend this property if you are wanting a small quiet place to relax and have easy access to eberything in the area.

Super location

Right in the thick of it. Very close to all things touristy in John’s pass . Very nice very clean place. Two negative comments garbage collection for the businesses across the street comes early The air conditioning doesn’t work well above 80 degrees. And yes I even looked up an owners manual to make sure I was doing things correctly. Maybe need to be recharged or replaced overall a great place in a great spot and the owner is very easy to communicate with.

Home Away From Home

Literally as comfortable as if we were home. Enough space in the cottage to relax and not live out of a suitcase. Everything you need to cook if you wish. Centrally located so you don’t have to think ahead about meals. Vicky is the best property owner. Kind and personable. You don’t have to worry about a thing. Best vacation every time when we stay here.

This property is perfect!!!

This location is priceless! The location to the Pass is within STEPS!! Not to mention it’s off the main drag a little so the back patio is absolutely peaceful! There are dolphins right by the docks, fish, and beautiful birds that walk right up to the patio. This is the place to be in Madeira! Well worth every penny! The house is clean and tidy, and comes with plenty of bath towels for the weeks stay! Vicky is a fabulous host with wonderful communication. If you’re looking for a place in Madeira…this is IT!!

Great Property

Updated cottage in a good location …Two block walk to the beach. Host is organized and property is well maintained. Only negative is no dishwasher.

We are 150 of my steps to being in Johns Pass village we all the fun happens. We are newly remodeled and didnt use cheap furnishings like other places around us. I tried my best to give you creature comforts like you would have at home.
