Menehune Shores 102! This 2-bedroom/2-bath condo offers gorgeous views, making it perfect for families or a couples' retreat! Located in one of the best locations in North Kihei, Menehune Shores has pristine grounds with a solar-heated pool, a shuffleboard court, and outdoor barbecue grills. Additional barbecues, picnic tables, and spectacular 360-degree ocean and mountain views are accessible on the rooftop garden.

This elegant condo has been beautifully updated with no detail missed. The feel of the islands is carried throughout with lovely decor. You'll be drawn to the mesmerizing ocean views from your private lanai, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or outdoor dining with seating for four.

The cozy living area is a great place to unwind after a fun-filled day in Maui. Curl up and watch your favorite movie on the flat-screen Smart TV, with a convertible sofa for additional sleeping, and split AC to keep cool.

There is nothing left to be desired in this kitchen! It's fully equipped with tableware and utensils, as well as all the cooking items any chef would need. Family and friends can gather at the dining table with seating for four.

The charming guest bedroom brings the tropical feel in with beautiful linens. The two twin beds can be converted to a king for your convenience. There is a flat-screen TV and split AC for comfortable sleeping. The guest bath is adjacent to the guest bedroom and offers a luxurious tiled shower and a large vanity.

The exquisite primary bedroom offers access to the private lanai and views of the ocean. You can drift off for the perfect night's rest on the king bed with split AC. The lovely primary bath offers a tiled shower and vanity.

A washer and dryer allow for lighter packing during your stay.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

The Menehune Shores condominium complex boasts a prime oceanfront location in North Kihei. Guests staying at Menehune Shores will enjoy touring the museum next door at the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Sanctuary Visitor Center, swimming in the huge and ancient Hawaiian fishpond right at the front of the property, or enjoying an oceanfront dinner at Monsoon's Indian Restaurant on the ground-floor level.

Comfy condo, amazing amenities, and excellent location.Windy while we were there, so beach was better for walking than swimming. Pool and grilling area were super fun spots to hang (and protected from the wind).

Beautiful place - the furnishings and decor were so warm and inviting! Great location too, we were central to everything on Maui. Parking was always available, right next to the door. Easy check in and check out process. The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked several meals at the condo. Bathrooms were very clean and host provided toiletries. Really appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels!

We enjoyed Kihei

We had a very pleasant stay at Menehune Shores. The condo was clean, comfortable, and convenient to the beach. The only hiccup was an all day power outage because of downed power line nearby. Maui is gorgeous and we loved the little beach just yards from the condo. So fun to see turtles and fish in the water.

Friends getaway

Our stay was so relaxing and a much needed getaway. My friends loved the mattresses on the twin beds! The location was great to everything and loved watching the sunsets every night. This condo was very well decorated and loved all the amenities. Thanks so much for sharing your condo!

Great location for small kids

We selected the north side of the building as we had a 15 month old with us. This ground floor unit was perfect as we were able to extend the patio/deck into the grass. It's also the side closest to the ground floor BBQs and stepped beach access (don't miss the top floor BBQs and sunset view, though!). Very clean unit. We will stay here again!

Fantastic location with pool and beach access

We had a fantastic time at this little slice of heaven. The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to the beach and a wonderful pool. We were there everyday!! We especially loved that the pool was heated. The apartment itself is perfect for a family for four. Plenty of space for us to lay our heads and have a quiet day. We feel it was central to other locations if you’re looking to explore the island. However, we did feel that the property could benefit from a few additions. More cutlery would be very helpful, and providing some beach toys and an umbrella would really enhance the beach experience for future guests.Overall, despite these small suggestions, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place for its excellent location and amenities.

Decent unit but not the cleanest

Nice location near the beach. Comfortable unit for 4-5 guests. Broken coffee maker, broken ironing board, dirty/stained towels & rugs for bath & kitchen. Pool & beach supply closet smelled horrible (incl. beach towels). Master bedroom A/C doesn’t work very well.

Check in was easy. Location was OK. The restaurant in the Mehune Facility, Monsoon, an Indian restaurant was very good and convenient. The unit itself was clean and equipped. Normally there are some amenities such as cooking oil, spices, sauces, and general cooking supplies. So you will need to get all of that and your food when grocery shopping. However there was coffee and a bag of chips. There is also filtered water at the kitchen sink, which is nice. Overall it was a good experience. Great for kids. Mahalo!

Good Unit Great Location

Everything was fine except for two things. We came in late and so checked in the next morning, but didn't know where to check in as nothing was in the instructions, but finely figure it out. The second was both the sliding door to the patio came totally off as did the screen. I was able to put the door back on as well as the screen, but the screen kept coming off. The unit was jperfect otherwise and h;ad great time.

Great location with restaurant attached

We stayed 2 weeks in this property. Location was wonderful and it was nice to just open the sliding door and be in a green environment about 100 yards from the ocean. Nice little park and beach which is almost all to yourself during the day. A gate let’s you in to a easy trail to the Sandy beach. We saw whales from there. This condo was super clean, considering the age of furnishings and the unit itself is pretty old. the reason for marking it down was the cleanliness of the sofa and chair. They could use a good cleaning. The carpets in the living room and bedroom are super dirty. If they are uncleanable, then it would be best to remove them from the unit. A mop would be helpful, dustpan too. There are lots of cooking equipment and dishes, however more silverware is needed. Towels are plentiful and the washer and dryer came in handy. the air conditioning worked perfect. We were always comfortable. If the above items were taken care of, we would be happy to return on our next visit.

Pretty satisfied.

Response to inquiries was first rate. Cleaning crew could be a little more diligent - fan blades need to be cleaned and a couple of spots along the baseboards were missed. We would loved to have kept the place clean (a broom and dust pan would have helped - our bad for not letting you know). Overall when you are from northern Canada it’s not hard to appreciate the climate and island friendliness. When you have to tack on another 35% due to money exchange things were expensive - that’s not your fault - but even without that it was expensive to buy groceries - again not your fault. Overall I would give you a score of 95%. Thanks for a great stay. Dave

The good:Had everything we needed and more! It was great to have travel mugs, coolers, beach chairs available for our adventures Beds were comfy, linens were plentiful and clean. Proximity to walk to the beach and pool was great. Good location to get to all parts of the island quickly. Good access to nearby shops & restaurants Not necessarily a pro/con, more of an observation, there were rules posted EVERYWHERE. Not just in the condo but throughout the property as well. Never just felt comfortable to just relax without the fear of breaking a rule, especially at the pool. Overall a good stayThe bad:We had a bit of a hiccup with our stay as the AC went out before check in and were given the option to stay or be relocated to another property. We decided to stay with a discount. The open windows helped with the heat, was cool at night but a bit stuffy during the day. Place was clean though the bathrooms were a bit outdated and didn’t look as clean. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers were broken (there was no sign) and we didn’t know. Some old stale water came out of them that was stinky/rancid. There were mini bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash on the counter we could use. There were small ants everywhere so we had to put everything away to keep them out of stuff. This may have been seasonal but there was construction right outside of our bedroom window with loud trucks and excavators starting up at 5am. Just beware if you’re a light sleeper.

We recently stayed here during our vacation in Maui & had an overall pleasant experience. The property was clean, well-maintained, & conveniently located on the ground floor, making it easy to access. We loved the view of the ocean, which was beautiful and peaceful. The unit is set back from the shuffleboard area, so we were able to enjoy privacy & quiet during our stay.We did encounter a small inconvenience with the lanai light, which is motion-activated only, so we were unable to sit outside after sundown with the light on. It would be nice if there was an option to keep the light on for evening use.The listing also mentions a hot tub, but when we arrived, we found that there was only a heated pool, which was a bit misleading & disappointing since the hot tub was one of the reasons we chose this property.The biggest downside of our stay was the beds. Unfortunately, they were extremely firm & the pillows were quite stiff. We didn’t get a single comfortable night’s sleep, which significantly impacted our overall experience. We would highly recommend the owner address this, as comfortable bedding is a key factor for a good vacation stay.Overall, we enjoyed our trip & the property had many great features, but the bedding issue was a significant drawback for us. We would still consider staying here again if the bedding were updated.

The condo has everything you could need. We loved the little decor and the layout is perfect. The beds were really comfortable. They are stocked with all items you could need including YETI mugs to use at the beach. The kids loved the green space to run around right outside our patio door. The restaurant that is there is excellent if you like Indian food. Some Cons: It is definitely a bit of a drive to some of the more popular beaches as well as restaurants in Kehei. There were two field trips from schools at the whale exhibit (which is right next door) while we were there making things a bit noisier than we liked. Also, with it being close to the road, it made it a little noisier if we were relaxing on patio during the day. We also found this property windier than others that we had visited, for some reason. Overall, this property is very lovely, well maintained. Checking in and out was a breeze. Communication was excellent the whole time. We had a great time!

The air conditioning seemed a bit rare for the complex and was super helpful since we were putting a baby down for naps midday, it kept them from overheating. Location was good, it wasn't walkable to any shops or stores, but we had a rental car and finding parking in more central Kihei was never an issue.

This is a great condo. Ground floor makes beach access easy!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is easy to access and has you right in the middle of the island. Less than a minute walk to the protected fish pond beach. The condo has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels including beach/pool towels, beach chairs and comfy beds. We would definitely stay here again.
